Toledo goes back and forth depending on the whims of local laws and law enforcement. One of the clubs was raided recently and now they all have pasties even in the LD area. That will pass quickly if it hasn't already. Toledo was nude on stage until about five years ago, then was bikini for a little while. Standard these days is topless only on stage and in LD, except as noted above. Some of the girls are so liberal in LD that they might as well be bottomless. Others not so much.

When I saw the headline I thought the church was going to operate the strip club as a side business to bring in a little extra cash.

Depends on how I know her. Co-worker, absolutely not. Waitress, bartender, bank teller who I don't otherwise know socially, yes.

Funny you should mention this. I'm also from Detroit area and will be in GR later this month. I'm planning to visit Godiva, which gets the best reviews, and maybe Tini Bikini just because it's close to my hotel. I'm not expecting much.

I was just at Pure last week and paid $2 for a beer. I think it was around 8pm.

My current favorite is Pure, second favorite Hush. Most of the rest are useless. Avoid Scarlett's, or at least read the recent reviews and ignore the older ones, it's gone way downhill in the last year. You won't get any extras in Toledo. You'll have to go to Michigan for that. Toledo is strictly for relaxing with the girls over beers. Go straight north on I-275 to Landing Strip, I-75 to Flight Club, or take the back roads and go up Telegraph (past Scarlett's and Pure) to the Toledo-Dix highway, straight to Henry 8 South.

They go back and forth, right now FC is your better bet. Avoid Dakota, if she hasn't OD'ed yet. And if you do strike out, Bogart's is right across the street. For those of you who hate valet parking, have you considered parking for free at Bogart's and crossing the street on foot to FC?

My worst valet experience was at Flight Club, many years ago, maybe when it was still 747, before I found tuscl, before I knew what I was doing. It wasn't the valet's fault. The girls cleaned me out. Every last dime. I went to retrieve my car and realized oh shit, I don't have the $7 for the valet. I scraped up $5 or so from waded up singles behind the seat and parking meter change. The valet took it, what else was he going to do? I think he felt sorry for me.

When I get divorced, I offer to give them everything I have up front in exchange for no continuing payments. It's easier to just start over. My current plan is to not get married again. I don't need any more kids, and they are the main reason to get married as far as I can tell.

I met a Kia once, but I don't think she was named after the car.

You guys are such pussies. TJ can be dangerous just like anywhere but that's no reason to stay away. I'll just add that the streetcar is a fine way to get to the border on the SD side, although not so good if you're coming back late at night.

I'd say no. I do want to know if there is a charge. But if there is, it's always going to be in the $5 to $10 range. The difference is not significant. If some club is charging $20 for valet, I do want to know.

I think I would have tipped more like $60, but since you didn't ask for the extra service and she didn't negotiate a price, what you did seems ok to me. I've tried this strategy a couple of times and it has never worked for me. Good work!

I took your advice but it didn't go well. Dropped in a club I hadn't been to before, one with few recent reviews. It was a total waste. Yes, I reviewed it. Managed to spend a grand total of $10, so I have $30 left over toward my tuscl renewal. Duo, you're not that old. When I was your age, the clubs were scratched out of rock caves, the girls wore animal skins, and a lap dance cost 20 clams. Like, real clams, from the ocean. Jab, if I'd spent $80 two years ago, I'd be short that $40 today.

I get the impression you're supposed to throw coins at them. It sounds painful. Maybe one of our Canadian neighbors can clarify.
