Because TUSCL is a place where you can shoot the breeze with other who have a common interest. You’re a member of a community and belonging to a community is important to any individual. Yep, you know all you will ever need know about clubbing, esp. in NC. The same goes for Shadowcat in Atlanta, me in Baltimore, etc and most other TUSCL long-timers. (Exceptions to that last statement would be a topic for another thread.)

I agree with IHV. Unless you’re willing to drive for almost an hour or more to Baltimore, go to Ebony Inn. I’ve been there a couple of times without any problems.

One of the best pit beef shacks in Baltimore shares a parking lot with a strip club. I occasionally get a sandwich without going into the club.

I’m inclined to agree with not tying extras to particular dancers in the reviews. However, I would recommend that Founder post a paragraph or two on what details should merit a rejection.

I know many dancers embellish their academic persuits. However some of my favs legitimately worked their way through school by dancing. One was monitoring/showing me her work and the progress of one her classmates on a joint marine biology project while on the club floor. Another dancer would keep me filled in on her classes and I ended up seeing her as an ‘extra’ in the school’s local TV ad. Gently teased her about it the next time I saw her.

I agree with Darkblue999, GeorgeMD, Yahtzee and others. I’m a regular at Gold Club and occasionally goto other clubs in the area. Gold Club and Hustlers in Baltimore are probably the best bet for a young, petite AA with good conversation skills. Secong tier options could be Fantasies or Millstream (good starter club, but they take a much bigger cut of your dance money. Don’t stay there too long if you do go there.)

I’ve eaten at three clubs in the Baltimore area. Two are pretty good, on par with what you’d get at an independent lunch grill. The third has approached what you’d find at a sit-down restraunt. (Although I don’t think they’re still performing at that level today. Haven’t been for a couple of years for other reasons.). All much better than McDonalds.
A couple other SCs will heat a frozen personal pizza for you, but I don’t bother eating at those places.

In the Baltimore area, Gentlemens Gold Club is probably your best best for a basic break, esp during daylight hours. Generally attractive dancers. Good mileage, but don’t expect extras. Located at the interchange of Interstate 895 and US 40. Open noon to 2am. Plus Chaps Pit Beef shares the parking lot (“Meat paired with meat with a side of meat” / “Carnivor Heaven”).

I wholeheartedly agree! Founder: Please add this to a club’s feature list.
I’ve stopped going to one of my local clubs with a couple of favs (they moved from other clubs) because the clubs started electronically drivers licenses.

Perhaps I'm doing this wrong, but...
A couple of days ago, a dancer was struggling to clasp the second hook of her bra while seated next to me at the bar. I offered to take a look and sure enough the hook was bent down. I took out my hotel key card, wedged it under the hook and bent it up so that it would clasp properly. Then I introduced myself as "MacGyver".

I recommend Gentlemens Gold Club: Higher end, full nude on stage, many attractive girls. Low thug factor. Hustler is similar inside, but you need to wade through "The Block" to get from parking to the club whereas GGC has its own large, well lit parking lot. I've never had a problem on The Block and there is something to be said for its carnival midway atmosphere. But if that's not your thing, go to GGC.

A decade or so ago, one of the really stupid criminals and his buddy decided to rob a SC in Baltimore. The one where his GF danced. He put a shotgun blast in the ceiling. A couple of off-duty cops who were just relaxing in the club put several rounds in him and his buddy.

From the article linked below: In those mammals that require the female to orgasm in order for eggs to be released, the clitoris is inside in the vagina. In those mammals the have an ovulation cycle, the clitoris has moved outside of the vagina. Some researchers speculate evolution did this to reduce conflicting signals to the female's reproductive system.
Other researchers speculate that the female orgasm is just an evolutionary byproduct of the male orgasm and serves no necessary purpose for the female. In other words: Female orgasms = Male nipples.
I find the first paragraph to be more convincing, but plenty of research still needs to be done for any firm conclusions.

Similar to Shadowcat, was in a SC in Baltimore the night when the riots started a few months ago. I watched the TVs at length with a dancer whose cop brother was on the front line that night and neither one of us felt like dances/VIP that night. Certainly not the same scale as 9/11, but it still made an impact on me.
