There’s an hourly parking lot surrounding a SC several blocks from a baseball stadium. My (now ex-) wife was all excited to tell me how easy it was to park there and take our young children to the ball games. Although any member of this board would immediately recognize the exterior as belonging to a SC, it did not register as such with her.
So I was compelled to tell her to be very careful when walking the kids past the front door, lest they see scantily attired women and start asking uncomfortable questions. I truthfully explained I had read about the club and it’s connection to baseball history in a newspaper article. I had been there a couple of times, but wasn’t impressed enough to become a regular.

It’s still early in the primary season, so the candidates are courting the money available from the activists wing of the party. As the field narrows, the remaining candidates will moderate to seek the support of more centrist Dems and Independents. And in any case, even if the overall makeup of Congress shifts left and a far-left President is elected, Congress will still end up being, when averaged out, a mixed bag. Which would moderate any implementation of a far-left President’s policy proposals.

My understanding for the ban on marriage for priests for economic reasons is a little different. The Church didn’t want legitimate heirs of priests to contest ownership of Church property during “probate”.

I was in a club in Baltimore city during the riots a couple of years ago. Several of us were watching the coverage on the club’s TVs, including a bartender whose brother was on the police force. The club was near an Interstate highway, so I had no issue getting home.

Depends on the club. Some clubs it’s scary enough turning the sink faucet after wizzing the wall. Other clubs, no problem with sitting on the throne. Once I was even in the area running errands and needed to make a #2 pit stop. I opted for the club over the fast food places nearby. I’m certain it was much cleaner. (It was afternoon / no cover. Said hello to the doorman, but that was it. Didn’t even have time to tip the pretty, naked lady on stage. )

@JimmyMcNulty: Wow, he’s still there!?! Thanks for the update! I’ve only been to Millstream a couple of times in the last five years. Not the club it used to be. Besides, I no longer have other reasons to be on the west side.

About a decade ago, there used to be this one guy at the Millstream Inn in Baltimore. Dressed just like an extra in Olivia Newton John’s “Let’s Get Physical” video: exercise shorts(even in winter), pastel t-shirt, headband. He would always sit at far end of the bar and have a few drinks in the afternoon. Never saw him interact with the dancers and the dancers ignored him in return. According to a couple of dancers, he never watched the stage, never tipped; just watched tv or stared into space. It seems he was a regular at the bar before it became a strip club and he refused to move on.

I like the recent updates, especially the separate rooms. I also agree that a drop down to switch between rooms would be a useful addition.
One question/heads-up:
In the discussion pages, comments from an ignored contributor have an otherwise blank rectangle with the text “comment ignored (show)”. The text suggests that I should be able to click a link and view the comment. However, no action occurs. Current bug? Future feature? Something else?

Well that looks too damn easy! She skipped all of the extraneous factors. When ever I have to change a flat, it’s been the middle of the night, raining cats and dogs, on the side of a busy Interstate, or some combination thereof.

I’ve only had one semi-issue while eating at the club, and it was really my fault. It was early afternoon and I ordered some Old Bay Steamed Shrimp for lunch at a club with a tip walk. Not the best of combinations. I ended up putting a stack of singles on my table and told each dancer to take a single. The girls were good humored, understanding and I didn’t have any problems. Later on, I had a drink and a room with one of the dancers, so all was well.

12:15 pm, for lunch and a show.
2:10 am or so. Sat in the club after closing for a few minutes because I drove one of dancers back to her home. It was an additional tip for a fun LD; otherwise she’d have to pay an Uber.

I’ve only seen the cloth-on-lap thing in one club. In that club, the laps are full nude. So between the snail trail prevention, protecting lady parts from zippers, and easier grinding from the reduced friction of the polyester, it makes sense to me and I’ve never minded it. If only it weren’t a sit-on-your-hands lap dance...

I usually tell panhandlers “Sorry, I don’t have any cash.” Playing the cashless society card.
I’ve never met a panhandler outside of a SC before, but I suppose that would be a difficult line to pull off as I’m entering. I guess I should be prepare and come up with an alternate response.

Classic advice from IBM for strippers looking to make a career shift into IT:
“Mouse balls are now available as FRU. Therefore, if a mouse fails to operate or should it perform erratically, it may need a ball replacement. Because of the delicate nature of this procedure, replacement of mouse balls should only be attempted by properly trained personnel.
Before proceeding, determine the type of mouse balls by examining the underside of the mouse. Domestic balls will be larger and harder than foreign balls. Ball removal procedures differ depending upon manufacturer of the mouse. Foreign balls can be replaced using the pop-off method. Domestic balls are replaced using the twist-off method. Mouse balls are not usually static sensitive. However, excessive handling can result in sudden discharge. Upon completion of ball replacement, the mouse may be used immediately.
It is recommended that each replacer have a pair of spare balls for maintaining optimum customer satisfaction, and that any customer missing his balls should suspect local personnel of removing these necessary items.”

For some of the booths in my favorite club, the lights are on a dimmer readily accessible to the dancer/customer. So we make it bright enough to see each other, but no brighter.

I agree with most of the posts in this thread. The matrixed layout is difficult to scan. A single column is much easier to review.
Even though it’s less convenient to hold, I end up turning my iPad from horizontal to vertical orientation just to get a single column again.
