This isn't an injury, but a "casualty" of getting lap dances. When I was still wearing contact lenses, I always had to let any new dancer know that before she began her dance. I did get a lens poked out of my eye once by a dancer's tit. But I had fun searching for it (heh, heh).

A somewhat related story: I had a major fave a few years ago. Then I lost touch with her. I knew her full real name. One day I happened to Google it. What came up was the same kind of story in the above Sun-Times article. It centered around a nun, in a different city, who had the exact same name as the fave I knew. The nun was leading her church in protesting the opening of a new strip club. I wish the girl I knew could have seen that article!

2. I agree with everyone above. (Does that also mean that I agree with Juicy?) Cuddling is a great way to wind down afterward. It's like the opposite of foreplay. In this sense, maybe it deserves to be termed, "afterplay."

I've noticed both situations. Some dancers are aware that after an active stage show that they should go to the dressing room to freshen up. Some just go right out into the crowd and circulate, asking for dances. If I see a dancer give a very active stage performance and I'm interested in getting dances from her afterward, I wait until a few songs have passed before I'll get dances from her.

Colds shouldn't be associated with cold weather, cold temperatures, or where there are cold climates. People get colds mostly in cold weather because they're indoors more, and hence more susceptible to catching something from being amongst a higher concentration of people. Art's explanation, above, explains the "catching a cold phenomenon" precisely.

I'm not a tipper for lap dances. I only tip at the stage. If I like a dancer, I become a regular of hers. If she asks for a tip, it's likely the last time she'll see me. She'll make far more money from me over the long run if she accepts the posted price for the dances.

@canny: In the Seattle instance I referenced, the Feds suspected exactly that was happening. Seattle strip clubs (probably other businesses, too) are required to pay an admissions tax to the city. For each customer that pays admission, a portion of that is supposed to go to the city. Suspecting that this chain was cheating the city on it fare share of that tax, the Feds set up hidden cameras aimed at the entrance to the now-closed Rick's strip club. After an 18-month period of photographing the number of customers entering the club, the club was accused of undereporting its customer count.

An eerily similar story played out here in Seattle that ended in 2010. There were five partners involved in a chain of four strip clubs. All four clubs got closed by the feds. Two of the partners were father and son. Their legacy was even included in a book.

Yeah, the copier clip was probably the most ingenious of the five! I don't understand the humor in #1. There's a boobulous chick laying flooring. Okay, so what? I guess you have to understand the German captions to appreciate the humor. DO ANY TUSCL MEMBERS SPEAK GERMAN? If so, can you translate the captions in clip #1?

Before the internet, I too relied on yellow pages for lists of clubs for when I'd be travelling. A dancer also referred me to a biker mag in the early nineties. It published an annual list of "biker-friendly" strip clubs, nationally. Although I'm not a biker, it was the only list of its kind I could find, until the web became common.
When I lived in L.A., www.zbone.com was a very well known SC website, for So. Cal. clubs and I used it all the time. I was aware of TUSCL then, but there were a lot more reviews of the local clubs in Zbone. After moving to Seattle in 2006, all that covered this area was www.stripclublist.com which doesn't require registration. It mostly attracts trolls and those who just want to hurl insults at each other. After much dissatisfaction with that website, I tried TUSCL, and liked it very much. I'm here to stay now. It has very helpful, informative and entertaining material. And the PM system is fantastic!

@ shadowcat: You're probably acquainted with modern methods. This guy was old school. (I had to look it up when I first heard that story. There's a Wikipedia article that describes the device.) He died in 2010, at age 93! Can you imagine boinking strippers at that age !!! If you get a copy of the book, "Seattle Vice--Strippers, Prostitution, Dirty Money, and Crooked Cops in the Emerald City" he's on the cover, but shown in his 60's.

@ shadowcat: A now-closed chain of four clubs here in Seattle had an owner who was banned from setting foot inside his own club (over an alleged harassment issue). The dancers well knew that he had a standing offer for probably any dancer to come to his house (three miles away), for P.F.P. The guy was in his early ninties. He used a penis pump. One dancer reportedly said that the experience was like having sex with a "water weinie" (her term).

I'm with Jackslash on this one. Also, you should develop more than one fave at the same club. I do. It works out fine. It also lets the dancers know that they have competition right at their same club.
Another thought--in a week you former ATF could change her mind. As soon as she realizes you're spending money on other dancers, she may rethink her actions.

I can only speak of bikini clubs in California, and that was before 2006 when I moved to Seattle. In CA, there are bikini, topless, and nude clubs. I hesitate to refer to a bikini bar (as is older terminology) as a "strip club," because they don't "strip" anything. Bikini and topless clubs are allowed to served alcohol and do give laps dances. They tend to be tame because what few rules they have regarding dancers' performances are stricly enforced. If they're not, the club risks loosing its liquor license. Nude clubs are the most lenient dancewise, but are not allowed to serve alcohol.

My biggest stage tip wasn't in money. It was in doughnuts. I had previously arranged for a dancer I knew very well to wear her sexy cop costume to the club one night. As her set was concluding on stage, I pulled out a box of a half dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts to tip her with. The d.j. noticed and announced over the clubs' p.a. system, "Did I just see a cop get tipped a box of doughnuts?" That was one of my few creative moments in a strip club. The dancer later asked me, "Is that why you asked me to wear that costume?" Actually it wasn't. I just liked the costume. I got the doughnut idea afterward.

I may be more daring than a lot of you. I give them my real first name in the club. If I have the occasion to give them my phone number, I also write down my last name too. (My first name is very common, so to distinguish myself from the others with my same name, I feel it helps to give my full name.) I'm single and live alone, so it hasn't posed any problems to me. If anything, I think it's helped me gain the confidence of some dancers, that I'm willing to give them my full, real name.
