The infamous Wisconsin tip walk. How prevalent is the tip walk (dancer leaving the main stage going around to patrons soliciting a tip for her time on stage) outside WI?

I get one dance for only two reasons: 1. Sympathy/get her to leave me alone...yes, I know they won't take "no" personally and I can spend it how I want but $20 isn't much to me and sometimes the best money spent to get rid of her the rest of the night or 2. It's a flyer on an unfamiliar dancer who I haven't gotten dances from before. If its a good dance, chances are later I will get more

Yeah, you got taken but not for too much. Lap dance tipping is optional,not mandatory. I'm not sure of your state of sobriety...maybe you were functional but you do acknowledge that you declined her a few times before agreeing several beers later. I'm going to presume you were maybe buzzed at most but she may have thought you intoxicated enough to slip a phantom 3rd dance to your tally. Regardless, be mindful of the music and if you think the music has changed, inquire whether this is a new song & stop her if you don't want to proceed past a set number of dances. Lastly, never let them know how much money may be in your person or in your vehicle. You spend it how you want...they're not entitled to it, it's theirs to earn. Just crazy of her to insist she hold onto something of YOURS while you get $ she thinks,but isn't, entitled to.

Here in Milwaukee free really means free. Clubs accept competitor's complimentary admission passes and never harass you about a drink...granted they don't need to harass because we will find excuses to drink anyway. My ATF gave me a stack of probably ~50-75 passes that i will have a hard time using up. Only times they don't honor passes is if they bring in some out of state dancer (usually someone on hiatus from the porn scene) to feature that evening.
