It is often said that if you don't like the choice of dancers at a particular club or in a particular city, that there are girls turning 18 every day. This club just chose to emphasize that by putting it on its marquee.
I entered "The Pony" into TUSCL's search feature and several possibilities came up:

@ ime: I used to club the way you do. I had plenty of money to spend then. Now, not so. When I did, it wasn't a problem to get dances with four or five girls in the same trip to a club. Now, I strategically plan my club trips so that I go when only one fave is on shift at a time.

@ Jack: I concur. I'm about the same as you. GMD and Alucard: Similar, as well.
I have mostly three dancers that I see regularly. Two definitely spend all of their spare time with me while I'm in their club. There are times when I begin to feel guilty that I'm taking up their time and mention to them that if they see business potential on the floor, to feel free to get up and go to another customer. Usually their response is that they've been watching the floor too, and even though some new customers have come in, they know that the new ones aren't likely to get dances from them.

I'm with GMD. I go for dancers with big natural boobs. If I had to choose between being the gropOR or the gropEE, I'd choose the gropOR. There's no other sensation like a pair of natural biggun's in my hands.

As a skilled and seasoned boobologist, I feel compelled to comment: Bullwinkle summed it up best. All of the above that comments are very good points (pun intended) and observations.
I have two long-time faves that have implants. Usually I don't get dances from a dancer a second time, after I detect implants. These two are an exception. What makes their boob jobs so good is that the implants are well-centered within their breasts. I absolutely can't feel their implants. In an inferior boob job, I can detect an implant close to the outside (meaning far left and right) of a dancer's breasts. My two dancers don't have that quality.
You get what you pay for. Like Gawker's story, one of the two dancers above told me in 2006 that she paid $10,000 for her work (a couple of years earlier). At that time, an average boob job seem to cost around $4,500.
As a last resort, if I can't tell a dancer has implants, I'll wait for her to go on stage. Hopefully, she'll do a "floor routine" where she lies on the floor as part of her show. Then, no matter what the quality of her boobage is, I can detect implants. When an enhanced woman lies down, flat on her back, the boobs will still stand up, whereas a natural woman's boobs will spread out across the chest.

@ gawker: Back in the '80's I saw a stripper, as part of her stage routine, smoke a cigarette vaginally. I always wondered if she ever came down with cervical cancer.

Duo and Papi said it best. Also, I've found that clubs would rather you call/text the dancer directly, so that the clubs don't have to get those phone calls. Just hang in there until you can get her phone number.

I'm about the same as tlkDo. I mostly text and email with dancers I know, even when I'm not going to the club to see them. An occasional lunch or dinner out with them. Many of those are only because they happen to live close to me. Although, I did drive 60 miles to meet a dancer for lunch back in January.

Jackslash: Your situation is like mine. If Christie was the best ever dancer you had, then she's your ATF. Even though you don't get dances from her anymore, or even see her anymore, if you liked her better than any dancers you see now, she's your ATF. The other dancers are your CFs.

Shadow: I concur with you. This is the TUSCL glossary definition of ATF. (There is none for CF.)
"ATF -- All Time Favorite - a patron's favorite dancer. If you have one of these, please see PL lower in the gloss."
It seems to me that the two terms, ATF and CF are mixed together, inappropriately.

Bullwinkle: Exactly! A CF could overtake an ATF, but then, when you next refer to your ATF, that would be the second dancer who was previously only your CF.

Alkdesmo, I sympathize with you. I had a similar incident several years ago. I texted a dancer to ask when she would be working again. I didn't get a response from that phone number for several days. When I did, it was a phone call, not a text. It was the dancer's boyfriend actually calling me. He said, "She's no longer with us." Being that I never saw or heard of, or from her again, I can only assume that meant she committed suicide. I sense that from the tone of his voice, if it was a natural death or an accident he might have said so. It does happen. And she had three kids.
Also, The other part of your thread is dancers hanging out together outside the club. Some dancers do make friends in the workplace, just like on any other job. I've also had dancers tell me to varying degrees that they won't even associate with other dancers outside of the club.

Three of the coffee stands involved, are very close to where I live. One is across the street from a now-closed strip club, Honey's. Former strippers are baristas at some of the stands. I personally know one of them. She's back to dancing now. She quit a week before the raids.
The owner is a former UHM dancer at the also now-closed Rick's in Seattle. She seemed to forget that she doesn't work at a strip club anymore. This is now the second time (first was in 2011) that she's been busted for serving up boobs and other body parts in addition to coffee, (which I can personally attest to).
It's interesting to note that the story is through KABC, a radio/TV station in L.A. Numerous local media outlets "covered" the story.

I had a few like that at the Tropical Lei, in Upland, CA. The girls wouldn't ask. They'd just go for it. (Basically, shoot first and ask questions later.) That was before they set up their current VIP rooms. All the dances were out on the main floor. This was in the late '90's I recall. Some great and nasty dancers there back then!
