@ sclvr: The dancer whom I came into see that day, and whom I wound up spending all my money on, told me that the dancer I had just noticed recently discovered she was pregnant, and she wasn't happy about the news. So, maybe she (new dancer) was depressed, but still felt the need to show up for work (so she could just hand the club her $120. house fee to get in the door and sit an mope for six hours).
Since it was at my regular club, I could probably try to "reach her" another time, but I've got plenty of faves right now at that club and a couple of others, locally.

@ sclvr: I had a recent experience similar to what you described, which prompted me to write this thread: I was in my local club for almost two hours. As I entered I noticed a new (and nude) dancer on stage I had never seen before. So, I went immediately to the stage, sat down, and tipped her. No reaction from her. A half hour later, she was called to stage again. Same tip from me and lack of recognition from her. An hour later the d.j. calls a "house special (3 dances/$40)." The dancers then begin to circulate in search of customers for the special. I see her get up and walk toward me where I was sitting, but alas, she turns abruptly and stops at the d.j. booth to chat with him. Other than that moment, and while on stage, she sat in the same seat the entire time I was in the club. Not once during that time did I see her get up and work the floor.

Yes. I've told this story before, but since you're asking, I tell it again: A dancer I once knew had a cop costume. I saw her weekly at the time. One Saturday I asked her if she'd wear her cop costume the following Saturday. She agreed and remembered. I had a special tip in mind for her in that costume. So, when I saw her the next time, after she finished her stage set, I tipped her a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Even the d.j. noticed and said over the p.a. system, "Did I just see a customer tip a cop a box of doughnuts?" Then other dancers leaned over toward the stage to observe the box of doughnuts.

To piggyback on what Jack mentioned, TUSCL is not a good website for your question. This is an internationally read website. Although most of the membership is from the U.S. our members in Florida, New Zealand, and Timbuktu will not likely know anything about "Diamond" at the club you're speaking of.
A better resource for a club- and dancer-specific questions is:
www.stripclublist.com
That website is organized by country, then state, then by club. There you can post your question at a specific club, and only those people who read about that club will see it.

I too agree with Gawker. Never, never, ever pay a stripper, ITC or OTC, for anything in advance.
I had a similar situation once in Las Vegas. At the Palomino, I paid $150. for an amount of time (maybe 15 min.) in advance. The dancer was all sweet, friendly, affectionate, chummy, etc., while she was soliciting me for dances. So I paid her. Then we get into the VIP room, and she pretty well made it clear that I'd only get an air dance for 15 min., without a tip to her. As she started dancing, I balked at this; then I made a quick decision to cut my losses and I bolted out of the VIP room and the club. Maybe I was two minutes into the 15-minute period. I will never go to the Palomino again.

I concur with you 100% in all three of your paragraphs.
However, a little clarification is in order: When you click on "Discuss" from the main menu, then you only see the names in blue of those on ignore that have posted a new discussion item. I'd even like to see that much made invisible. However, the part you're speaking of is where you see the additional, older threads available to read, at the bottom and to the right side of the discussions. That too, should not be visible if those members are on ignore.

I went to my local club yesterday afternoon, and the d.j. ran a lot of specials: Two-for-one ($20), Three for $40. That's unusual because they don't usually run specials until the night shift. I wasn't even thinking about Black Friday yesterday, I just knew that Friday is the best day of the week for me to see this dancer. Even she was commenting about the abundance of specials. I was more focused on the abundance of her boobage.

I'm a bit partial to Amanda Bynes, only because a fave of mine had that as her stage name for a while. She took it because friends of her said she looked like Amanda. And, definitely to f___.

I have one favorite dancer who always gives *me* a Christmas gift, in appreciation for the business I give her throughout the year, and the past six years she's been dancing. I've known her since the day she started dancing, and have been a regular of hers ever since.

Yes, be careful on the roads. On the entire west coast, Interstate 5 in CA, OR, and WA will be given "emphasis patrols" as they are known by the highway patrol or state patrol of those states.
I will be having Thanksgiving dinner at a cousin's house who lives in north Seattle. On the way home are three strip clubs nearby on the same street. They're all open on all holidays. I try not to look at the parking lots as I drive by on holidays, thinking who goes to strip clubs on Thanksgiving? I wish they were closed on holidays.

When you're asking about a particular club or area, TUSCL isn't a good website for that (unless you're asking about Las Vegas). At least SCL is broken down by state, so you can go to the state you're interested in and then by each individual club, if necessary. TUSCL is structured differently. However, the quality of the comments may not be as good as TUSCL, and it's list of clubs is not at all current. No registration is required to post on SCL. Anyone can post any time, under any name.

Even with PG-rated dancers, I've seen a lot of them take me and other customers to the most private location in a club for their dances. Even they appreciate being able to have maximum privacy with their customers. So, that alone is not a sign of getting extras.

I notice a lot of panhandlers with cardboard signs standing at busy intersections. Even though they have a short sob story on their sign, most of them are smoking a cigarette while standing there.

As for San Francisco, most of the clubs there are in tourist trap locations. I sense that doesn't promote much interest in strip club websites. I'm surprised that we have as many members from Southern California as we do, considering that Zbone is well read and used there. When I lived there, I didn't even know about TUSCL.
Las Vegas strip clubs may be in a city like San Francisco. There are certainly lots of reviews of the clubs there, but mostly from people who were visiting. I've noticed very few Las Vegas reviews by people who say they live there.
