Stock In Strip Club

Friday, November 29, 2013 7:52 AM
Many of you have expressed an interest in owning a strip club. Well, here is a way you can own "a piece" of a highly successful strip club with a minimum investment. Rick's Cabaret International (RICK) publicly trades on the NASDAC. This company owns and manages 50 strip clubs worldwide. The stock is up 37% in 2013. It does not pay a dividend. They own 90% of the real estate where their clubs are located and take in 40% of their total revenue from alcohol sales. The stock closed at $10.26 on 11-27. I bought 200 shares on January 15, 2013 at $8.10 per share and have made enough to pay for a "champaign room" session at my own favorite club. :-)

Good luck. I hope you do well, but I would not invest my money. It is a primarily cash business, where employees and insiders may skim away profits, and the people controlling the business may not be completely honest and ethical.

@ Jack: A while back, Farmerart commented on the wisdom of owning stock in Ricks. He didn't recommend it either.

I have 2500 shares purchased around $10.42. RickyBoy and txtittyfan say it a terrible investment, but they were saying that all the way as it rallied from $8.50 to $12.50 so I'm not too worried. Hey, sometimes stocks with crappy balance sheets rally.

Douchester, you bought at 10.42, it closed today at 10.43, you must be pretty proud of yourself. In the same time period I had HAL from 47.50 to 54.50.

Sure you did tittyfan. You an expert at making up stuff you supposedly did after the fact. Thing is every time you tell us in advance, it turns out to be something that losses money. Let us know, however, if you ever get the guts to tell us in advance though. :-)

Oh gets even funnier. HAL actual fell since the time I bought my 2500 RICK last Friday. (Which I announced before the fact.) So tittyfan is bragging about losing money. I guess $54 to $52.50 isn't too bad a loss compared to some of the disasters he has had before so he is rather proud. Or he is comparing to a trade I did earlier this year where I rode RICK from upper $8's to mid $11's for a 30% gain. All announced an verifiable before the fact. All while he and RickyBoy called me an idiot and said it was a crap stock. And he is trying to claim after the fact he made 10% on HAL. First problem - his claims aren't verifiable while mine are. Second problem even if true 10% is much less than 30%. So he is such an idiot he can even propose a fictional trade, after the fact, that beats mine which was all announced before hand. Further proof that is essentially not possible to get any dumber than txtittyfan. :-)

One thing i like about tittyfan's post is that he is claiming a seemingly impressive sounding >10% gain in one day, but if you look at those trades, the part he leaves out is that that came out to about $340 dollars on a puny little $2500 options trade. If $340 is 10% of his entire account value he is in very sorry shape. Anything under a couple grand for me in a day up or down is just noise. I've had a couple of days this year where I made $35,000 and one day where I lost $45,000. Until I changed brokers $340 would be about what I averaged in commissions per day. Other things tittyfam doesn't mention: He is only trading max $2500 a time. No evidence he owns any HAL stock, maybe his account got reduced so much he can only trade options? No evidence he bought HAL at $47.50 and held since even if he did with all the flipping around he does who knows if his trades around the main position coat him money. He went into the day with puts on HAL meaning he was bearish on his prized stock. He then changed his mind a couple of times, but still finished the day with a bear put spread and some extra ITM puts on HAL as well meaning he is pessimistic going into next week. Doesn't mention he loses money in the $54 puts if HAL rallies. Looks like he doesn't have enough money in the account to be assigned on the $52.50 puts, hence had to make it a spread. I'm not sure what he was trying to prove. He caught a +$340 fluctuation on his account in one day. Just shows how small time he is. And the fact that he thought it would impress... Not sure whom he hangs around maybe fellow house repair guys who are wannabe traders? Sorry tittyfan but you really did a number on yourself with that post.

I was actually mildly impressed when I looked at the market this morning and saw HAL was trading . I thought txtittyfan would have actually been up a bit on his options position on HAL that I reckoned he had. One little problem though - above I was assuming txtittyfan reported his trades in the order he did them, but when I looked up the actual time and sales it looks they were reported out of order, so he didn't actually have $54 puts on HAL going into the weekend (only held them a little under two hours). Too bad he didn't because those went up about $0.60 since, would have netted him close to a grand if he had held. Not sure if he liquidated his short puts yet, I do see a 10 contract for 0.47 right near the open which would have been about break even for him. If he held, however, he is down on those now, along with being down on the stock position he supposedly hold (but I'm skeptical of). Fun! fun!

Douchester how nice of you to respond. The only problem is your response is full of factual errors. On my naked short 54 puts. If HAL rallies, they expire worthless and I keep the premium, . Any person with an understanding of options and trading would know that. You obviously don't. It is interesting, that I can post my trade confirmations when they happen, but you have to wait 2 days after midnight. I guess that is because I actually have an account, whereas you appear to only be able to post a 3rd party settlement report. Your fictional trades are losing today. By the way, here is my completed trade for the day in HAL along with a TXN trade I will probably hold for a couple of days. LOL! It's after midnight, not two days after midnight, dumbfuck. you'll notice how much less my commissions are than yours. Guess having to wait until midnight to get my transaction records in a printable format is the price I pay. I'll take it. As for your naked puts they were at $52.5 not $54. Since you posted your transactions out of order I thought you were long $54 puts, but you pusses out and left about $1000 on the table. Guess I gave you two much credit. And look at price of JCP now compared to where I bought it and the TLT puts and everything else. All up. Go and calculate how much and see how it blows your puny traders out of the water. I'll look at your trades for today later. Should be amusing. First thing I notice though is you still can't put in a trade more than about $3500. And no worries, Today's going well for me, tittyfan. Up $1700 in equites and $4000 in futures. Might have to quit my 9:5 to do this full time. Love your jealous, buds - to thrive off the hatred of guys like you who can't afford to do more than a $3000 trade but think they are hot shots.

I doubt we are going to see txtittyfan show up today and talk much about HAL. (Getting killed on the news about the pipeline out of Cushing?) If he did he would have to admit he is down about 200% on his short puts. (Kind put his things into perspective when he'll post some 15% gains, but then conveniently not mention 200% losers which kind of offset.) He never did tell us how many shares of HAL he supposedly own either, and when he cherry picks some fraction of his day trades that makes money, just conveniently ignores how he has lost equity in his supposed (imaginary I say) long term positions. Too funny!

Fraudster, Here are my trades today. I was out yesterday so I didn't have any trades for the day. As you can see, I am a little behind on the HAL trade today, but it is partially offset by the gain in JNJ. I got a bad fill on JNJ as my order was for 25. Based on what you posted as trades for 11/27, you are losing on all of them. I am still profitable. It looks like HAL may be put to me in the next day or 2, I will take it. All down? The TLT puts are down? A position I've up'ed to 100 contracts. Man are you a dumbfuck. And you still haven't told us how many shares of HAL you have in your long term position, guess it's a dilemma for you. Tell us, honestly, how many it is and more evidence of how small time you are. Lie and tell us it's a large nber and you then have to admit you lost a lot on it today. And no worries about me tittyfan. Up $5800 for the day, thanks mostly to TLT puts and well timed short VIX futures. You continue your BS tactics: Don't report all your positions: just realized profits. Don't mention lost equity on supposed long term positions. Fail to report trades which were losses. Continue to think you are a big shot even though you make extremely small sized trades. Man, you must have been something when you were a stock broker. Complete shifty sleAzoid just like they have a reputation for.
