Deja Vu, COI has good specials too. For cheap dances all the time: Strip Joint in the Pomona is good. Has a fairly large selection of girls.
Hope you'll be using the Ontario airport. It's much nicer and easier to get in and out of than the other L.A. airports. Have a great time, and we'll look forward to your reviews upon your return!

@ mjx: Here in Seattle, there's a club, Pandora's, that uses tokens (like poker chips) similarly to how Christies does. When a customer wants to use a debit card in the club, the club gives the customer a token for each $5. put on the card. No "convenience" fee is charged to the customer for this, but when the dancer goes to redeem it, the club takes a 10% cut.
A chain of four clubs, owned by the same groups of owners, was put out of business in 2010. Among the violations cited were the same use of those tokens. Their use in that form was considered money laundering.
Pandora's was started by a former d.j. at the now closed clubs. He took their precise business model and duplicated it at his club. I'm surprised the feds haven't been into to "visit" him about his use of tokens.

That's a story that's been told around the country. It's nothing new. Clubs take advantage of dancers, other employees, and their customers.

It's interesting that this topic should come up on a strip club website. The first time I ever heard the word used, it was in the company of a stripper. I thought she just stumbled, or couldn't pronounce the word, "converse." I didn't know it was a real word until I was able to get to a dictionary. I was surprised that it was. My thought was why use a three syllable word similar to the commonly used two-syllable word to express the same thought.
But, language changes over time. (Mostly due to changes in technology) We may all be "conversating" in the future.

Duo: Lots of TUSCL dancer members write reviews of clubs they work at. We customers find those interesting as well. Please do!
I would suggest you clearly start such a review with, "I work (or worked) at this club . . ." That way there'll be no confusion that you're a dancer, and hopefully you'll structure it so as it doesn't look like you're promoting the club. Include some pros and cons of working there.

@ Mikeya: I'm not a tax accountant, but I've legally deducted things I've bought myself that were work-related, that my employer wouldn't pay for. In some professions, employees are forced to buy certain clothes or uniforms. Those are tax deductible. So, if a dancer needs to buy clothes, costumes, make-up, accessories for work, at least a reasonable amount or percentage of those purchases may be tax deductible.
There was even a story in the news some years ago about a stripper that was allowed to deduct the cost of her breast implants. The matter went to court. The dancer explained that she intended to have them removed after her career had concluded. With that premise, the judge considered the implants as a "prop" for her work--perfectly legally deductible expense.

I was planning to wait another couple of weeks before attempting to reload my profile pics, hoping founder will advise us as to whether or not his picture server is back up, or if all our photos are lost, and forever gone.
I noticed that Superdude has loaded four pics. I PMd with him yesterday about his pic. He didn't mention any difficulty in loading them. I don't know if it took him multiple attempts to do so. See:

All around, club-going hasn't been as much fun for me either, since the spring of 2008. That's when the recession hit here in Seattle. Between that and the chain of four clubs that were raided in June 2008, and later closed altogether, there's far less fun in going to strip clubs here than previously. I hear about a lot of the crap you mentioned.

I've only been inside three strippers' homes. One, a condo which she owned, was well cared for. Another, a rented apartment, was a disaster scene. The third, also a rented apartment was well kept. I saw photos of a fourth who owned her home. From what little I could see of it, it was neat and tidy.

I saw that she apologized for the messy room behind her, in her photos, but if she's using those photos to market herself, someone needs to advise her to set up a pleasant background before shooting photos of herself. Most of the providers I've noticed on Streamate are aware of this need.
