It happens to me, too. In fact I thought about writing a similar discussion a few months ago.
BTW, I take lots of extra caution with touching things. Hand sanitizer, hand washing, never touch door knobs with my bare hands, don't eat or drink after anyone.

The last time I told a dancer I was out of money she twisted my nipples, started patting me down and said, "don't you got no credit cards or bank cards or sumptin!?" After the blood came back into my nipples I said no, and walked directly to the manager and told him. He didn't do shit, so I left.

Yes the "tax evasion" and "prostitution protection" fees must be the reason for all the insane profiteering going in in strip clubs.
As for the bartender in this article, much the of the same BS goes on in bars and restaurants, minus the weird bathroom sign.

This same thing happened to me! It started with 2-3 texts around 3am from "blocked caller." I never answer blocked calls. Rarely do i answer texts in the middle of the night. Then I started getting them at lunch time.
After a couple days I took the lunch blocked call. The caller was all, "So 'money man,' why are you in my girl's phone?" I could bring myself to say, "do you know what you girl does for a living?" So I just said, "if your girl's name is ______, it's because we're work friends."
He was all, "my girl doesn't have friends I don't know." She had mentioned her new BF months ago, so I was aware of him. I told him, "well I've known your girl for years, and have given her at least $1000 in that time. So when she tells me to stay away, I will." And hung up. I guess he had never considered that, as he never called me again. She apologized for the calls later, but it made me uncomfortable and just stopped associating with her.
Like several have said, don't give out your phone number, or use Google Voice.

Once did NYE at Columbus Gold back in 1998/1999. It was packed! The normal $10 cover was $20, and included a glass (more like a thimble) of champagne, and one free lap dance. There were plenty of dancers, but not the top talent. I went with my SO, and we both got a kiss from the dancer at midnight.
I don't know if the clubs still pack it in on NYE.

Overall I like the changes. Especially the summary view on the club pages. I would like to
see the post count return. Also I'm having trouble with the stylesheets not allowing pinch and zoom in landscape mode (iPhone/iPad viewing).

I try to get the money settled early on. And this is a fixed price. I have a hard time seeing you being able to reduce it over time. Strippers really like money. I think yankee428's suggestion of half the champaign room price is a good start.
Jackslash is totally right. I wanted to bone my ATF for 3 years. Then after several months away from clubbing, I got a dance from her and asked her directly, "would you be interested in a private show for me?" Her eyes got big and she said, "I thought you'd never ask! I usually charge $300 a pop, but since you're a friend, how about $200 for the night?" (we are not friends, just hobbiest/provider) That price works well for me, as I had spent that much on her a dozen times over the years for practically no extras.
Since then I have just asked dancers that knew me from previous visits the same line, or more to the point: "would you be interested in OTC?". None have ever gotten mad. In fact I think I'm batting about .500. Two of the missed swings were me trying it on the first meeting. One said, "No, I just met you 15 minutes ago!" The other said she was DTF, but I'd have to wait until she got off shift. I couldn't wait the 4 hours, so I had to pass.

As long as they are not hard, overstuffed, or causing the surrounding flesh to be bumpy, I'm fine with them.

On the real: I have picked up women whose cars had broken down and given them rides without incident. But it was in the day light each time.

@thesamurai: Yes, I did. I enjoy a good debate. In fact I bought her a drink because unwanted to hear what offended her and offer constructive criticism. But that was a waste of $5 and 10 minutes, as she could not take any criticism whatsoever. She just kept repeating her two sentence rant.
@3LeggedMan: I am surprised as you! lol. But seriously, they really did respond to some of my complaints.

You guys may be right about being too negative, and compiling reviews.
Funny thing is, the club corrected 3 out of 4 of my complaints! So the guy/employee/member must be able to take criticism that the dancer could not. Which would be no surprise.

@kingcripple: Well both visits were during the slow time, in the early evening on Tuesday nights. I definitely don't go around calling myself "HonestT", when I'm not on this board. lol But I did use her name to help other SC mongers. Maybe I should have left that out.
