    Shy stripper?
I think there is a difference between "shy" and "introverted". I am not shy and can converse with anybody but I am also an introvert who finds such conversation exhausting. I suspect there are plenty of dancers who are introverts who, at some personal expense, must engage in behaviors that are not their natural style.

    Blinded by the light
Here's a trick I learned long ago. Before entering a dark room from bright sunshine, close one eye at least 15 seconds before entering. Open the shut eye upon entering and you should be able to see pretty well.

Is it better to go with a friend to a club to keep from losing your personal ite
If you are that worried about losing things and also using the club ATM, I suggest you bring your wife or your mother along to chaperone your activities. If you're going to use a credit card, plan to bring your financial planner as well.

    Harper's ll Exotic Carwash
There used to be a car wash in my home town that eventually got busted as a place of prostitution. Passers-by began to notice that cars seldom got washed in less than 30 minutes. Investigators discovered what was really going on in the backseats.

While we're on the hair topic...
The pendulum swings and I am noticing a return to a more hirsute environment below the waist. On a recent visit to Bogart's I had a 4 for 4 experience with dancers with hair "down there." On the whole I prefer a little landscaping over the barren pre-pubescent terrain.

Ever had a stripper read her review?
Troop- You were completely right about the obnoxious flaming about a specific dancer on the blog. Alleging that someone has an STD is a serious charge. I'm glad Founder removed it.

I'm studing to be a pharmacist...
Had a dancer once that told me she was a student at the local community college. "What are you studying?" I asked. "Psychiatry." she replied. When I told her that psychiatry was only offered at medical schools, she told me that they did at her junior college.

    Pool tables at strip clubs
I agree with ShadowCat that those who come to a SC to play pool are a different demographic from the rest of us. Dancers tell me they hate the pool table because it distracts and the pool players seldom buy LDs.

    A new record achieved?
I don't believe this one. Perhaps he was summarizing previous visits or just desperately wants to be a VIP member!

Any good Orlando, Fl clubs out there.
Any of the Cocoa Beach area clubs are superior to any Orlando club. My favorite is the Inner Room.

"Waaa! They're all hookers except for me!" and other stripper BS
Pothead- The difference in my circumstance was that, when I visit this club, I am always staying at a local hotel anyway - no extra cost for me.

"Waaa! They're all hookers except for me!" and other stripper BS
Pothead- Had a similar proposal this week from a young dancer. She suggested that she would meet me at my hotel for nude LDs with no sex involved so she would not have to pay tip-out at a club and I would not have to pay VIP fees or club cover. Economics make sense but my "spider sense" went into high gear. Seems that a lot can go wrong in this scenario.

    Brad's Brass Flamingo
I have never understood the high ratings for BBF either. Mileage, at least compared to Detroit or Florida clubs is ordinary. There is no stage but rather a "corrall" for the dancers which can inhibit viewing. I guess I am more willing to put up with the hustle factor of dancers pestering me for dances than the passive attitude of Brad's girls. I agree that the low cost makes this an above average club, but compared to the Inner Room in Cocoa Beach, this is an ordinary club at best.

question for everyone about dance ratings in a club?
I would recommend that ratings by PLs that admit they did not get any LDs be disregarded. With rare exceptions, these do not offer any useful information for those of us who go to clubs for the LD.

Know how much $$$ you are willing to spend before you enter the club. Quit when that amount is gone. No exceptions.

Are You a Day Guy or a Night Guy?
Occasionally I try both shifts on the same day to sample the talent. While there are occasional surprises, day shift dancers are often older and more experienced, night girls are awfully young for my tastes. Mileage is uniformly higher during the day shift at my favorite clubs. The Flint club I will visit today has an older dancer that is a ROB so I try to avoid her which can be difficult.

    Dancer on the rag.
Had a dancer last week that told me to disregard the tampon. She said she wears one every day dancing so guys won't try to do FS with her. Fingering was apparently OK. This seems like a decidely mixed message. WUWT?

    HIGH VALUE LAP DANCES
There are lots of places when one can find cheap LDs. The real issue is "value". I define value as "mileage for the money" and most cheap LDs fail to deliver value. Most of the Flint, MI clubs have $5 dances out on the club floor. Many Phoenix area clubs have a similar deal at $10. None of these deals offer much mileage and are really sales pitches for the VIP. I agree with vincemichaels that H8 South offers consistently high mileage for as little as $10 per. All the Hamilton clubs near Detroit have $10 days when off-the-charts mileage may be had for as little as $10 plus a gratuity.

Mr. Johnson, what a great idea! As a CFP myself I think I've just discovered a new marketing idea. I should open a SC with two VIP areas, one for topless dancers and another for financial planning!

    Grooming?
I never wear jeans to a club. Dancers uniformly tell me that denim is uncomfortable for them. I usually wear microfiber slacks and always receive positive comments on how smooth the fabric feels to the dancer.

Smoking, when it comes down to it
As a non-smoking Michigander I welcomed the May 1 advent of a smoking ban on indoor businesses. Like my pal Philip A. Stein I think the change was brought on by the behavior of a minority of smokers who could not stand to accommodate us non-smokers. I have wondered as well why businesses such as bars and SCs could not have installed better ventilation systems that would suck the smoke up to the ceiling and out through the roof. I have encountered such systems in a few places and was impressed by their effectiveness. Any business that complains of loss of patronage from smokers that nevertheless refused the reasonable accommodation of better exhaust deserves their plight.

    Smoking ban in Michigan
Clubber, national smoker rates are currently about 25%. It is a rare community where incidence of smokers is above 35%.
