Smoking ban in Michigan
While I am a small government advocate, my understanding of this ordinance is not that it is to protect customers, who all agree can exercise choice. The bill is intended to protect employees who do not have the discretion of entering or staying out. That said, I look forward to clubbing without smelling like an ashtray afterward.

Only Customer in the Club
Happened to me last summer at Choice in MSP. I must think like my pal CT as I proposed a 2-4-1 with each of the three dancers. Thought my bargaining position would produce value but the quality of the dances was so low that I realized why I was the only PL in attendance. I seldom like to even enter a club when the parking lot is empty.

Update on Detroit
Hey MMDV26, do you have any idea what kind of town Detroit is? This is a City Council that is all black, all democrat and all anti-Limbaugh. The former Council president is married to John Conyers, House Judiciary Chairman, for goodness sakes. (At least as of now though she will enter prison this fall for a bribery conviction.) If you are going to accuse any political party or group for this unfortunate ordinance, at least take the time to find out what is really going on so you won't look like such an idiot. It is by no means certain how this ordinance will shake out but there is no way right-wing politics had anything to do with it.

CTQWERTY- Like your strategy when Bogart's is crowded. I have found that you actually can get more for the money around the corner from "lonely" dancers at $20 per than from youngsters anxious to get another custy for a couple of $10 quickies.

Percentage doing "extras"?
In my experience it entirely depends upon where you are- area of the country and the individual club whereever you are. I agree with SuperDude that extras are the norm in the Detroit area; hardly ever happens in West Michigan. Extras are customary in Gary, IN but hard to find in Chicago. Florida clubs vary greatly with clubs on the coasts pretty open, particularly on the Atlantic and S. FL while clubs in the interior of the state pretty much limited to air dances. Hope this observation is useful.

Afternoon shift
Went to a club (Henry 8 Sout) on a Sunday evening about 6:00pm, one hour before shift change. The place was so deserted that the young dancer that sat with me complained of not yet making "tip out". She offered a discount on her "special", a bbbj, Titty Fuck and CIM for $50. Sold! I think the time of day made a real difference in this case.

The weakened dollar is what happens when our government spends money like a PL in heat at a Vegas SC.

Tipping
I remember tipping $1 25 years ago. I would be embarrassed to tip so little in this economy. I always tip the waitress well, $2-3 for a beer even when the beer is only $2.50. They remember and give great service, including guarding my seat while I am in the VIP. For stage dancing I usually tip $2 per set, not per dance. In some clubs I seem to be the only PL tipping more than a $1 if at all. Other clubs may have some tipping $5. I won't tip that much unless I am trying to get a dancer to come to my table when they finish stage work.

SO HOW MUCH DO YOU SPEND ON AN AVERAGE ?
Depends on the club and my mood, but I usually plan to spend about $150. I am occasionally enticed to spend more but try to limit spending by patronizing clubs during $10 dance days if possible. In Florida I can usually spend less than $150 while staying busy in a club for 90 minutes or more.

Waitress to Dancer
CTQWERTY- you are correct about H8. Saw a brand new waitress this week that looked to be training for dancing. She was dressed in a top and thong and was soliciting tips to be placed in her thong. It seems a short step to being on-stage by next week. Wanna bet?

SC Mileage Increase
In follow-up to my earlier post, returned to Inner Room tonight to explore whether my experience yesterday was a fluke or a legitimate trent of higher mileage. Wow! No fluke. Left the IR and stopped in at Blush, another area club not know for high mileage. Place was pretty dead compared to IR but I soon discovered that the mileage was still high. Got only a couple of laps for pure "research" for the TUSCL fraternity. With those dances my total for the two days here in Florida was 24 dances in three clubs and wss able to "dip my finger" every time. Mileage is definitely on the rise!

SC Mileage Increase
In my experience mileage is definately up significantly in the past couple of years. (Could it be the economy that drives this phenomenom?) Yesterday I visited The Inner Room in Cocoa Beach, not one of my favorite SCs generally due to crowds, smoke, and low mileage in the wide open VIP area. What a change! Crowds were non-existent and smoke was gone as well. Now the dancers nearly outnumbered the custies. I had 12 dances in the VIP area with multiple dancers and never had another couple in the area. Perhaps not surprisingly, dancers were ready to party and nothing was off limits. Hands were roaming, offers of take-out were made by multiple girls, and mileage was markedly increased over all previous visits.

Fond memories of the Don Hamilton strip clubs...
The absolute disregard of the Bouncer/Wristband Vendor in the VIP at Bogart's to the activities of the dancers within 5 feet of him. The dancers must tip him heavily. Maybe that's the job I want when I grow up. :)

JJ- Hose can be a sort of costume and, like all costumery can help you to assume an alternate identity. Perhaps the feelings you experienced were merely your identification with an image rather than an exposure of any inner reality. You are a LADY who occasionaly walks on the wild side, but by no means a "slut" and I will fight anyone who says you are.

Civies vs. on-the-clock
I am occasionaly at the club when one of my ATFs finishes her shift at 7:00pm. She invariably comes by my table to give me a good-bye hug and kiss before she leaves. It is a powerful reminder of why I keep coming back.

Club after club, after club?
My personal max has been four clubs in one day. This was an exploratory trip, the first visit for each club. This took about 6 hours. It was probably worth it to discover clubs I won't be returning to anytime soon. I do think Founder could limit the number of review credits for any one day just as he limits the frequency when you can review the same club again.

Perfect Gentlemen = PL?
While I have always tried to behave as a gentleman, I wonder if I sometimes give the impression that I am naive and a PL. Once, at Industrial Strip in Hammond, a dancer asked me if this was the first time I had ever received a LD. WUWT? Guess she expected me to grab at her kitty even after she instructed me that it would not be permitted. Damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess. Nevertheless, I still prefer to treat the girls with respect and be perceived as a "gentleman." I can live with that.

Do you get any sense that customers are spending less and Dancers are more Despe
I have noticed a lot less begging for tips over and above the LD charge. The clubs I have visited lately often have more dancers than customers. This should be a buyers market. Any club that raises prices during this environment is run by morons.
