While we're on the hair topic...

Friday, August 6, 2010 7:14 AM
I've noticed that my generation of strippers rarely vary when it comes to "personal grooming" styles. Of course, that meaning we all stick to being completely clean shaven. Only a couple of times have I seen a dancer who had more hair than a narrow landing strip above her pussy. One time, a fellow dancer grabbed me and pointed for me to look. She was in shock that this one dancer didn't shave and wanted me to witness. Although, I have had a few complaints from guys for my lack of hair down there. They tell me that it's just a stupid trend. Do guys naturally find some hair attractive, or are these men for hair a rarity? Let me know your thoughts. Do you like a "landin strip", trimmed hair, clean shaven, or (i personally could never sport this) a full bush. Your advice could help clear up another dressing room debate :)

Wow, you will really get us guys going about this post. For me: pubic hair = sexual maturity = desirability. Put me down on the "neatly trimmed" side of the debate.

I'm with farmerart on this one. Completely shaved, well, to much like a child.

Completely shaved, please. I'm old enough to remember bushes. I don't miss them.

A quick perusal of my profile pictures should tell the tale on my preferences. :) Seriously, in general, there are exceptions of course, the plucked chicken look doesn't appeal to me. Anything from substantial landing strip on up is much more appealing. As for the rest of the body, stubble sucks. Either keep it hairless and smooth, or let it grow until it's soft again, none of that in between crap.

Maybe a pixie cut or pigtails on the bush?

I prefer shaved and smooth, which I'm sure requires daily maintenance. Stubble is a turn off.

I was talking to gridget about this 2 weeks ago. Even though she is basically retired from stripping, she still shaves the kitty. Her take on this is that it is more hygentic. Women shave their arm pits and legs. Why? To make themselves more appealing to men. So doesn't it follow that shaving the kitty does the same? Now what about us men? To shave or not. gridget thinks that it is a good idea. I was going to try it a year ago. As you know, with a full bush, it is almost impossible to shave. So I started by trimming it with scissors. I stabbed my self in the balls. That ended that. My favorite dancers thought that was hilarious. "dumb ass. you are supposed to use an electric beard trimmer first". I now have a renewed interest in it. I now have a beard trimmer. Now if I can get gridget to do the actual shaving.

Unless the young lady looks older than 21 in other ways, then completely shaved seems too creepy since I'm an old fart. Not interested in children, thank you. But if her maturity is easily identifiable, then clean shaven can work sometimes (e,g, judyjudy). But I agree with the no stubble thing. Best of all worlds is a nicely trimmed landing strip.

I don't think you can go wrong with any type of "hair" style. Like any other feature of looks, some guys will like it, some guys wont. Personally, I like a little something down there but I don't require it.

The pendulum swings and I am noticing a return to a more hirsute environment below the waist. On a recent visit to Bogart's I had a 4 for 4 experience with dancers with hair "down there." On the whole I prefer a little landscaping over the barren pre-pubescent terrain.

I can still remember the first time that I saw a shaved pussy about 30 years ago. I beat off to that memory for at least a month. However, variety is the spice of life. Now you can have whatever you want on the triangle, but we all want the rest to be hairless. We like to imagine eating that pussy, but we don't want to imagine picking hairs out of our teeth, and we certainly don't want anything obstructing our view.

Shaved and smooth. But a creative landing strip is nice too.

"pre-pubescent terrain." Otto, is THAT 14 yr old (who's been caught at 2 other Detroit clubs thus far) working at Bogart's now??? If so, so long Bogart's.

Ladies, please, STOP SHAVING. Get it WAXED. No stubble that way, and you only need to do it once per month. Personally I prefer totally waxed clean (brazilian), or at most, a neatly trimmed landing strip. Anything more and it begins to become a turnoff... much like some of the old porno tapes of mine from the early 80's that I found recently while cleaning up a storage room. They ALL had completely unruly full bush with hairy assholes to boot. To believe I used to spank it to that stuff as a teenager! IMO, the clean, hairless is so much better to feel and to go down on. It looks cleaner, and it's much easier to spot warning flags (sores, warts and whatnot). For my own parts, I've kept them trimmed my fairly short (around 1 inch or shorter) since early college. I also went through about a year of shaving my sack and sometimes the entire groin region with a razor... it was scary as shit the first time I did it (took nearly an hour to complete too), but then you realize with hot water and shaving gel, it glides right over everything just as smoothly as it does when you shave your face. Takes me less than 10 minutes now. The problem is, you often get razor bumps, especially in the upper corners of that region where your leg skin folds over as you sit or run. It's itchy and annoying and obviously not attractive. Also, after even 24 hours, you begin to feel stubble. Obviously not comfortable for either you or the woman you're with. And the more you shave, the more coarse and uncomfortable it will get. Recently I've been getting it waxed. Wow! So much better. No itchy stubble issues. And because it's being ripped out by the root, about 3-4 weeks later the hair starts to come back, but it's thin and fine as it comes in and when you get it waxed again and it's a small fraction of the pain involved in the first wax. And yes, that first wax is a painful experience. Each rip feels just like you think it will. The ladies I meet fucking love it, and I do to. It's usually a look of surprise when they see or feel it, and then a big happy grin and giggle followed by serious groping and stroking. It's like when you shave your head down to stubble and some women just want to rub your head for hours on end and can't stop. I get the same reaction for my other head now! Plus, no more feeling the pinching and pulling of my sack hair during a hot day as I walk, sit, or exercise. It may be a trend, but it's one I really enjoy.

Thanks for the imput. From what I've read so far, It seems that clean shaven or a bit of landscaping is mostly preferred. I shave my legs and under arms every day.. no prob. Although, most dancers would agree, that you can only do a clean shave down there every other day at the most. Razor burn/bumps would be the result of a daily shave :( I read that any stubble is a turn off, but it's nearly impossible to prevent 24/7. I might try waxing.. although, i have heard some horror stories from other dancers about the problems with that method as well. Thanks again! Oh, if you want my imput for all you men (especiallly you shadowcat haha). DON"T SHAVE!! Manscaping is neccessary (a nice trim), but a full shave is uncomfortable for both the man and the woman. The clean shaven feel is very temporary. Which means for the next few days, I have to have to ride a porcupine :( Not to mention, guys can get some serious irriataion bumps down there. Women like some hair! Just not a werewolf :)

You know, you don't *have* to take down one picture before you put up the next. :) And if you can make them a little smaller, that would be nice. To see what I mean, click on your picture to see how big it is. There's no way, other than to download it, to see you in your full size, full figured, glory.

Frankly I likem shaved. But I have quite a collection of 1950's nudist mags and those sexy housewives with their hairy pussies you have to believe they liked getting some different dick. I just have to believe clean shaven is more clean and hygenic.

Clean shaved...at least between the legs. I can deal with a landing strip or hitler mustache.

Clean shaven or a small, neatly trimmed patch for me. I really dislike pubic hair that's longer than about a an eighth of an inch or so. Up close it will always smell, and even if I'm not close enough to smell it, the memory of it is enough to make dislike long pubic hair.
