They call it the 2 foot rule in south FL. When I first heard the name I thought the women had to be 2 feet from the customer if fully nude (which is what they do in CA). Apparently, it's because the dancers need 2 feet on the floor when giving a LD. I've never seen a single dancer, in any of the clubs I've visited in SoFL, follow that rule.

Oh... and while I've tried a lot of different drugs (weed, mushrooms, acid, X), I haven't done any of it in probably 10 years, with the exception of a toke or three during that time. I did the vast majority of my drug-fueled partying back in college. I couldn't imagine being in a SC trying to hold my shit together while the walls were melting and I was more interested in stroking my fuzzy chair than getting a lapper.
Having a few hits on the bong would mellow me out too much, and if I was with a bunch of friends and not focused on getting lappers or whatnot, it wouldn't be so bad. But I prefer being a little more energetic and fun when talking to women. Weed doesn't help me accomplish that goal.

Like most here, I drink beers in moderation, usually no more than 1 or 2 mass-produced domestic beers in an hour and I stop after 4. If I've already had a few before the club, I might not have any. I usually stay for a couple hours. I'm about 225 lbs, so it takes a few to get me past the legal limit.

If feature dances ever came to San Diego, I could totally answer your question. And of my favorite 10 pornstars, they either don't keep much of a website, or they don't feature dance.
When I lived in SoFL, they were pretty common, but unfortunately I couldn't think of a legitimate explain to the wife why I wanted to drive 2 hours up to Ft. Lauderdale on a Thursday night.

For the most part, I agree with you. However, I do want to know specifics about the bar LD and VIP areas. I like to sit at the bar, so if it's small and/or off in a corner, I'm not going to like the place most likely. Are the LD and/or VIP areas private, semi-private, or in the open? Those are all very helpful to me. Exact layout info? Meh. Not really needed. But like others have said, it's right in the directions for writing a review.
Whether it has a pool table is also good info.

Congratulations! Very few strippers will do that. Gillydon definitely has it right, as does bang69. She wants your money, as do all strippers, so that should be put aside. In my own experience. Every stripper that has kissed me... like a serious DFK kiss, where I sense a bit of passion... has either offered me extras, has suggested OTC activities, or has given me her cell# and real name and asked me if I wanted to go on a date. OK OK, that last one only happened once, but still! Always a good sign.
I have never had a DFKer that was just looking for only more money. 1,3, and 4 are most likely.

Yeah... what georgeMD just said. "Helpful" vs. "Not Helpful" is a nice way to filter. Much like this discussion board, it would be nice if we could sort on helpfulness, or in chronological order. Maybe if they get more than 10 "Not Helpfuls" they get minimized, and have to be clicked on to be seen. A 3rd button could be "report" which would set a red flag as a shill report. Could/should also limit these buttons to VIPs.
Just ideas here that I've seen on other comment boards. Obviously founder would have to do all this. And who knows if he wants to!

Been to many clubs in San Diego and the 3 main ones in TJ (HK, Adelitas, and Amnesia). Basedon what you are looking for, go to Amnesia and ignore the clubs in SD. You might get lucky in some of the smaller clubs, during the day or a slow night in SD, but it would be expensive.
Amnesia is just like any US strip club, same prices for pretty much everything, but you can also bang the girl if you want... just be prepared to pay $100+.

I agree with wwpmi and say do not waste a single moment in SD. WAY over-priced for VERY little anything more than maybe an half-interested dance while you have to sit on your hands.
Go to TJ.
Take your passport and maybe $250... $300 at the most (you could get laid twice, drink 2 beers and pay for cabs and trolley for $175), but NOTHING ELSE except your hotel room/house key!
Take the SD trolley ($5 for an all day pass) to the very last stop and get off right at the border. 5 Min walk over the pediestrian bridge, then though the revolving gates and you will be in TJ. Taxi stand is there through the 2nd gate and for $5 you can go pretty much anywhere in TJ. Just ask for Hong Kong or Adelitas. Politely decline if they try to sell you on Club Amnesia... it's more expensive and the girls are the same.
Go straight to HK if you want more of a strip club atmosphere, I usually start out there myself for the eye candy and the crazy ass shaving cream shows they have. For your first time, I would do as others have suggested and leave in the early evening so you can arrive at the club before the sun sets (30-40 min trolley from downtown, 10 min walk over border, 5 min cab ride).
That said, realize that while both clubs are open almost 24-7, the girls mostly set their own hours, so the hottest ones will be on Friday and Saturday nights after 8pm, and many not on until after 10pm. It gets very crowded both of those nights, but there are also a LOT of women. And if you can go on one of these nights I will promise you that you will see some women that just drop your jaw at how fucking hot they are... and then it hits you that you could fuck them for $60 + $12 for the room. And $60 is the going rate, some of the hotter ones that think their shit dont stink may try to upsell you, but don't fall for it. Sunday-Thursday starts out very slow with slim pickings from the girls, and it picks up as the week goes on... peaking on Fri/Sat nights.
Good tip: always negotiate everything before you go upstairs. Basic procedure is a quick covered BJ followed straight sex.
Finally worries about STDs are understandable, but I've never had an issue. Most of the girls are VERY clean and VERY serious about safe sex only. Others might do anything for an extra $20 on top of the regular rate. Old/ugly ones will offer uncovered acts and extras on top of extras, and often for less than the going rate of $60. It's up to you what you want. My advice is to skip the super hot model-type girls (unless you just want a trophy fuck) and go for the cute ones with a fun personality or disposition as they are always much more fun upstairs.

I'm still hittin Adelitas and Hong Kong Club in TJ. I'm just not going dressed up like I'm in the Mexican Army.
Seriously though, I've been down there tons of times (often alone and at night) and never once have I ever had an issue. Just have to be smart about what you are doing, take cabs to and from the border ($5 to/from any of the TJ clubs), and don't do stupid illegal shit like bring drugs, get really fucked up drunk, or go off the main street.

Why not just go to a strip club? Bringing girls to your room to put on a show is far too expensive unless you are looking for a quick escort servicing. I realize that they won't do the whole dildo and candlewax show like you might get from free-lancers, but still... just find a good SC on this site and have some fun.

While I agree that generally, alcohol availability is directly proportional to amount of mileage you can get, San Diego seems the opposite. Here, topless clubs where you can drink alocohol (like Pure Platinum), the mileage is non-existent... but go to a juice bar like Cheetah's or Expose and you will be able to find it fairly easily. Guess it just goes to show how ass-backwards the SC scene in San Diego is.
Oh and I prefer nude... especially in south FL where I can find fully nude dancers, full bars, and off-the-charts mileage all in the same club.

San Diego has been a quick death for any MP that serves as a rub and tug joint. The Sheriff Dept. has been very quick and efficient in getting these places shutdown, unfortunately.
And runnoft is right in a way (definitely a lot more bang for the buck, and easier to find what you're looking for in TJ), but getting over the border and back is a lot more of a hassle than just going somewhere in local SD.
If you find a good MP in SD that offers extras, don't get too attached, as it will be shut down in less than 6 months. You're better off hitting up the SC's on a slow weekday afternoon.

Miami. Hands down Miami.
I lived there for many years off and on (as recently as a year ago) and Miami is the best for mileage by far. Plus you will have full nude clubs with a full bar. Nothing beats it.
I disagree with djscotti though... I would stay away from Scarlett's and Tootsies. Both are overly large and overly expensive. There are plenty of smaller clubs where you can find a LOT more action for a LOT less money. Feel free to check out some of my earlier reviews. I went to a good number of clubs there during my time in So.Fla.

I've had it happen several times, but only during slow day shift times (Mon-Thur, 12-5pm). Any other time and there is going to be too much competition from other girls and more importantly, more potential victims.. errrr... customers to hit up. And yeah, being a good conversationalist, and not looking/acting like a complete toad helps.
I will also say that I always gave a good tip to those girls if I ever got up to head home before they left my side, or at least grabbed a few dances from them.
Of course the flip side is the coyote-ugly girls who refuse to leave you no matter what hints you drop nor body-language you try to employ.

I've only seen them once that I know of. It was a pretty obvious job and a couple of the other dancers verified it for me. I consider myself and ass/legs man, and I definitely prefer the natural and fit ass to implants, or for that matter, big booties where you see cottage cheese.

One more short story:
I was at the same club another evening and some guy was celebrating his B-day there by himself. Kind of a heavy set guy with glasses, but he seemed like he was having a good time, and slowly getting fucked up. So later on they bring him up on stage for his Bday dance and one of the strippers was VERY aggressive, basically stripping him down to just boxers, then when he stood up and turned around, he got pants-ed. All the strippers kind of pointed and laughed. Poor guy. That same stripper took him to the VIP about an hour later. After 15 minutes she comes out buck naked and the DJ asks her how "Dougie" is doing back there... she says he passed out buck naked on the couch right in the middle of the dance. Alone pretty much exclusively. Few of my buddies would hit one except for a "special occasion" of some sort.
I've found that when anyone else other than you knows your secret, it's not a secret for long.
That said, I've been several times with friends for bachelor parties and whatnot, but I rarely get lappers and never go for extras during those visits. Mostly I just drink, shoot the shit with buddies and ogle/grope/tip the occasional dancer.
Luckily, I've never gone to one where any dancer recognized me.
