Generalities are an easy way for a simple mind to express itself. C&S and that ilk probably have little to offer in terms of intelligent discourse so they create outlandish and ridiculous topics to post. Too bad because it makes it hard to find something interesting to read on the board.

J Did you live near your relatives? I think it is easier to lie about your job if they are far away. However when they decide to visit there is a hell of a lot of stress. Thanks for the response.

I've heard girls say they couldn't make the tip out money. I know a dancer that put her husband and herself through college working 3 or 4 days a week day time shift. She was probably clearing $500 a shift but she was beautiful and had a wonderful personality. She made the money without selling XTRAS.

Your intelligence and personality are far more important than your looks at least to me. If you are into bdsm as your hanle implies you will probably find some regulars who enjoy mixing some pain with their pleasure. Not many dancers or club customers are into that sort of thing so you might find a niche.
As for age and looks there is a good looking larger woman at Club Diamonds in West Palm Beach who does quite well at age 40+. So go for it and most inportantly have fun.

people are people and the dumb ones tend to blame some one else for their shortcomings and most dancers are not rocket scientists. The successful ones seldom ever talk about the other dancers except to praise them.

never been to a club in vegas but I would vote for South Florida - Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties - the girls are beautiful, in many clubs anything goes and there is plenty of wealthy males and the girls know it so the good ones show up and competition is fierce.

yoda is correct. You also have to invest to get a return. regulars generally get the best bang for the buck. So pick someone you like who appears to be able to hold a conversation with you and invest some time and $$$

I'm not judgemental so it makes no difference that she has children. I spend money on a dancer to entertain me and if she does a good job I pay her what she deserves.

My ATf came up to me and said "Are you horny?" I answered always. We talked for a while that day about our backgrounds and I came back a few days later and bought a couple of dances. She never asked me if I was horny again but I did buy dances in and outside of the VIP room for about a year and still talk to her via email. She left the area a few months ago. What made me come back time and again was her personality and honesty. Her body wasn't bad either but after the first meeting it wasn't the draw.

It obviously depends on a lot of factors. FONDL makes and excellent point. If you spend $1000, it is very unlikely you will be back soon. I have spent a max of about $1000 on my ATF in a month for probably 8 visits. During those visits I'd spend some where between $50 and $200 but always got a great reception and a very good time for an hour or two of her time. Going to a new club its a good idea to bring $100 or $200 and spend between $50 and $150 on someone you like and seems to enjoy your company.

In the club she is an entertainer. If you actually have a friendly relationship outside the club she is a friend. If you have both then she is a "friendly entertainer".

"Ivy League Stripper" is sort of autobiographical by a stripper who workd her way through Brown as a stripper in Providence. She has a web site and seems to have stayed in the sex business. I also read "Strip City" by a stripper who decides to cross the US stripping during the year before she gets married. She gives her shoes away at the end. Both books were given to me by my ATF who left with her husband for a better life BUT didn't give away her shoes. Both books are very good at giving the customer some insight as to what the girls endure working and how they relate to customers and each other.

Recently a dancer I know told me she was going to inherit something in excess of 30million dollars next summer but she was going to still dance. I think I'll check her out next August.

Some of them actually do go to school and spend large amounts trying to better themselve. My ATF put her husband through a BS degree and he ended up with an excellent job at a DOW 30 company. Lots of the girls do it to save money as the comment above mine mentioned. In addition $500 a night is on the high side. I expect an better average is about $300 a nite. I know girls that work at small quiet neighborhood clubs for $100 a day shift and others that work 12 hour nite shifts for $1000 a night. I doubt that many average $100 per hour for their time. Compare that to a whore government consultant taking down $350 and hour from you and me and you would admire dancers a lot more and not begrudge them their $50 or $75 an hour for great entertainment.

I sometimes get dances from a beautiful Mexican girl in South Florida who sometimes "cleans someones house" for a hundred. I've also known a couple of dancers who would go out to dinner and "borrow " some money. I tend to avoid these girls.

Lauren's just south of Club Diamond on Congress is probably a cut above the places you mentioned and a bit more expensive. I have spent $300 for a half hour at Laurens. You might do better for your money at Chettah or Peek a Boo or even Club Diamonds if the right girls are there. I also enjoy The Landing Strip for very local action but my favorite left at the end of November and I haven't found any one there to replace her.

I came from the northeast to Soth Florida in 1988 and had my first lap dance. It seems they were going on in Sothh Florida for a while because the girls were very experienced in 1988. Great question because I am pretty old and was born and brought up in NYC and never heard od a LD until 1988.

I knew a dancer in south florida who had danced in Tampa. She said in Tampa "no climax - no tip". She provided me with some of the best climaxes of my life and I am plenty old.
