I'm sure it depends on the club and how comfortable the dancer is with you. At my favorite club, the girls that do extras are pretty aggressive about it, especially if they recognize you as somewhat regular. Remember, even the ones that do extras are probably paranoid about LE.

gk: The turn-over in dancers at my favorite club makes it feel like a new place every time I go lately. This can be a bad thing when you aren't sure how good a dance will be, but does add a bit of excitement, given the possibility of finding a new favorite.

I like an attractive, well groomed dancer who acts as if she is enjoying herself and is not trying to wrangle my last dollar out of my pocket. Ironically, the dancers that act this way usually end up with my last dollar. Whether this is genuine or just a good "act" doesn't matter, because it is after all about the fantasy. Some dancers miss this and just see the customer as a living ATM.

True, the fun is in the hunt, so I also enjoy a couple warm-ups. In fact, I will often avoid some of my favorites that I know will provide a happy ending just to spend some time to scout out new talent. Some of my best experiences have been with new dancers that turn out to give great dances.

I know how you feel - I hate getting ripped-off on principle, but it is proably a futile effort to recoupe the money. Once in my favorite club I watched a guy go from table to table warning everyone about a particular dancer (he came to my table and told me). He wasn't obnoxious about it, and it worked because that dancer came by later and asked if I was interested in a dance and I passed. I'm sure she had a bad night.

Beyond even strip clubs, the concept of tipping has gotten way out of hand. I have worked as a bartender (worked my way through college and grad school) so I have worked for tips. An old bartender once told me that TIP was an acronym for "To Insure Promptness" and was a custom when some service was performed quickly and beyond the call of duty. Today, people in the service industry feel entitled to a tip regardless of the promptness and quality of service. I don't buy it - I only tip when it is earned.

With fuglies, I hate to get rude as well, but will if I have to. After all, not taking no for an an answer is rude to begin with. As far as "poisoning the well" I figure that most dancers at least at my favorite club are more interested in making maximum bank than showing solidarity with another dancer, but that may not be the case at a smaller club.

I had some skanky dancer come by and ask if I wanted a 2 for 40. when I said no thanks she said how about 2 for 30 - I explained I wasn't in the mood for a dance yet and she offered 2 for 20 - I said no thanks, again so she asks for a tip. I said no and she starts nagging me "Oh, come on just a dollar... you must have a dollar" - If I wanted to be nagged I could have stayed home and got nagged for free! I hate it.

I agree that many dancers lack conversational skills and resort to what I call the "interview" technique. Since I live in the city of my favorite club, I don't want to share my demographics with a stranger, especially because I am married and have a career. So I make up personal stuff. After all, it's not as if it makes any difference to the dancer - she is just trying to separate me from my cash.

When I first started going to PP they had 3 options for VIP dances - a $30 dance in "the couch room" which is now where most VIPs occur; a $50.00 dance up stairs in the room that is now the Champaigne area; and a champaigne room option for #100.00 plus what ever you negotiated with the dancer. This was in effect regardless of the time of day. A few years back they eliminated the $50.00 option, at least in the day shift, so now all you seem to have are regular VIPs in the couch room and champaigne room. I would assume that the 95 dollars would be for access to the latter, but have never partaken since the VIPs have been good enough for me.

I just tell her "hey, I just got here and want some time to soak in the ambiance" - That way it doesn't come off as an outright rejection, but she gets the message that you are not buying dances at this time.

I always wear silk or high quality synthetic that feels like silk boxers under dark colored pants. I try to pick a fabric that is soft and smooth since dancers perfer to grind on soft material. The underwear keeps the friction at just the right level during heavy grinding, which is typical at my favorite club.

If a dancer looks like an ex-girlfiend or someone I have always wanted to have sex with from work, I'm in - even if I have to hit the ATM. In fact, this may be the primary reason I go to clubs.

I have only paid up front twice - once it was a rip off (much promised, new rules once the dances started). The second time I almost backed out of the deal, but the dancer was a 9 and she seemed to be sweet. She explained that she had been ripped off by a customer on a multiple dance deal, and would give me a volume discount if I paid up front. Despite my previous bad experience, I agreed and, to my surprise, she gave great dances. I tipped her an extra 20 just because I was glad not to get ripped off. Bottom line is, you just never know. I still am more comfortable with the post-dance pay.

Silk boxers reduces chaffing from long grinds, and feels pretty good in the process. It also helps contain things in the event of a happy ending.

I agree with Casualguy, this is probably a done deal - I was a Ron Paul supporter (Libertarian)and was disappointed to see McCain get the Rep. nomination - he would just be more of the same Bush policy that obviously hasn't worked. Clinton may have gotten a BJ that somehow offends people, but at least the economy was in good shape during his tenure. Perhaps Obama can take us in a new direction, although things are probably so screwed up no one can make a difference. McCain will win South Carolina, so I'll probably write in Ron Paul or take a look at Bob Barr. Obama winning doesn't scare me. His economic advisers will be the same ones Clinton had - things can't get much worse than what Bush has created.

The only thing that rankles me is when you agree on a price for 2 or 3 dances and right in the middle of it I get the up-sell routine. I know strippers just want your money, but bargaining in the middle of a dance just ruins the mood for me.

I agree with DandyDan, in the club I frequent there are more moms on day shift and more older women. This can either be a plus or a liability, depending on individual tastes. I prefer younger dancers so, selectivity becomes a rule, which is somewhat tedious. Due to my work and family schedules, I am relegated to day-shift, but on the rare occasions I have been free, I have a better experience with night-shift dancers.

Evilcyn gets it... if you are in business customers aways appreciate that little extra. What I don't get are the ROBs who start a dance mid song and then end it at the end of the song, or try to up-sell mid-song (i.e. you can touch my tits for $20.00 per song extra), etc. With this slow economy, repeat business is critical for any business - dancing is no different.

Last time I was in a club I was sitting with a very hot dancer who was complaining about how slow it was this particular afternoon. We
went back for some dances and afterwards walked back to the table. As we were walking through the club I noticed the few other patrons eye-balling her and said "Hey, these guys look like they would be game for some dances". Her response was "Nah, they are not my type". The bottom line is that dancers are picky too, so why should I feel bad about rejecting a dancer - it just business

Remember what the late Redd Foxx said about having sex with older women "they don't smell, they don't tell, they don't swell, and they are grateful as hell"

Having lived in the south for 25 years I am not surprised by this move. This is typical of the "religious right" trying to legislate morality and using the tax payers money to push their agenda. I also wouldn't be too surprised if some of the same politicians who pushed for this go a kick-back from the folks who sold the club and made a quick million.
