People shouldn't be too quick to "Tsk-tsk" this episode.
Harkening back to 1967, first superbowl(coincidentally, also in New Orleans): Max Mcgee, a backup offensive end, broke curfew for a night of partying. Filling in for a starter who got injured in game, he scored the 1st touchdown in Super Bowl history. He went on to have a 7 reception, 138 yds, 2 TD game.

rose; How good are your language skills ? English is becoming less the "universal language" in English speaking countries.
Canada: 23% of population speaks French. Smallest bill in Canadian currency is a 5 dollar bill, with 1 and 2 dollar coins available. The former coin has a loon bird on it, so tips tossed on stage are commonly called the "Loonie Toss"
Mexico: In case you didn't know, Spanish is spoken here. Paper currency in peso notes. Smallest might be a 10 peso note, though the 10 peso coin more common. When you learn how to paragraph, I'll clue you in on calculating various currency exchange rates.
USA: A lot of Mexicans are sneaked into here. Probably 15-20% of population speaks Spanish. If these folks know any English, they won't let on when you say "don't touch here". Many ATM's you must choose Language option before withdrawing cash.

I wish you asked me this question 3 or so years ago when I did my winter vacation in PHX. Sounds like fun, hope someone does an article or post about it.I actually met 2 tusclers there (1 a buxom blonde dancer with a token review, and a high profile poster on stripper sites, another an occasional reviewer here, but a very prolific poster on another monger site, and the "blue basement" on a stripper site). The local contributors that I didn't get to meet provided me with some very good pointers on where ( and when) to go. Have fun..........

Down in FL now, that might be a possibility. Looking a bit iffy at this point. I've been thinking of trying the Shark Lounge. Imagine that- a minnow submitting a review on a club name like that............

Agree with lopaw and Papi. IMO (could be wrong here), OP's real concern was that catering too much to straight females would make stripclubs more like just another danceclub/nightclub, and less a type of place us mongers relish in. I'm gathering that Cosmo articles focus is on straight females going to club solo, or as a "chick clique". Having too much of the later group hog up space just to "make the/a scene" can detract from the visit. If I wanted to watch that, I'd just go to a regular night club.
I haven't seen too much of the cosmo scene at clubs- far more common is increase in couples, or coed "groups". Or lesbian triads.
@latinalover- I guess obnoxious groups, be they male or female, can mess up a visit..............

I've done it a few times in younger/more foolish days, but not lately.
The consensus seems to be anti-line. Apologies for threadjack, but have the anti-line people waited in a line (say, >10 minutes) for a restaurant, or regular night club ? I suspect that there are more yes answers in this category.
Yet, how many tusclers would drive 100 plus miles just to go to a particular restaurant ? So, tusclers will drive many miles to go to stripclub, but will be damned if they'll wait in any line to get in. These same people won't drive far out of way to eat in restaurant, but will occasionally wait in line to get in there. Go figure..........

j40: You're not the first poster to ask that question. While nationwide average is ~ 5% asian, general L.A. area is ~ 10%, with SF area having perhaps the highest concentration with 20%.
So, a combination of a cultural thing, plus those who immigrate/get visas may be more inclined to focus on getting an education in pursuit of professional degrees, or running/working in a family business than general US population.
To carry cultural thing further- stripping may be frowned upon in Asian culture. Not exactly sure how that would tie into Asian concept of face. On the later, I have yet to encounter an Asian panhandler. Have you encountered any Asian panhandlers, j40 ?
BUT, I have managed to encounter Asian strippers. I've had best luck at SF clubs. Even on a slow night, I've always found at least 2-3 Asians on shift. L.A. area, found 1-2 on several occasions. FL clubs, can generally find 1-3 on Mons Venus night shift, other clubs hit or miss.
Midwest are scarce on Asians, though on isolated occasions have found 2.
Lastly, I've found that Asians tend to lean more towards the higher end clubs- the ones that OP has reviewed aren't exactly high end. Happy Hunting, all.

Fellas (and lopaw): I have a better idea. On the Cheetahs-Atlanta website, there are several quick videos on "Club Etiquitte". They're humorous, short, and free. I got a few chuckles out of those..........

Yes, rick, I know all that geography stuff. I also recall a time when they were the BOSTON Patriots- hence I put a lot of weight on original lineage. On my prior tongue in cheek threads on basketball and football playoffs, I gave consideration to reasonably nearby cities with likely fan bases. With teams in playoffs having strong nearby cities, I'd have that team getting "long distance help- thus getting a lot of field goals (football), or 3 pointers (basketball), but sometimes not enough to overcome lack of basic touchdowns, or regular shots.
But, yes, I'd take Providence over a lot of stripclub cities. I also think that the Pats could go all the way, but the 49ers are dangerous. Baltimore is on a roll, and seem destined to win SB, given the manner in which they beat Denver in their house. ( Think 98 Broncos, 02 Pats, 08 & 12 NY Giants as some lower seed playoff teams that won the Super Bowl.)

Not to thread hijack, but based solely on the strength of stripclubs in the cities, I'm picking Baltimore over New England, and Atlanta over SF. But, again by that standard, Houston Texans should have been Super Bowl champs.
BTW, Ravens-Broncos game was probably one of the greatest games of all ages.

I'd sure like to see the itemized charges. Wonder if it entailed 1 or more overpriced "champagne" bottles ? Still, that is a lot of overpriced drinks. Definitely seems fishy. I also find it hard to imagine that type of business letting someone run up any significant tab without doing a credit card swipe first. More to this than meets the eye.

Sitting here, I'd "like" a hot, tight 20 something. Lately, a lot of my faves have been in the 35-42 age bracket. Maybe, as an older guy ( I remember watching Apollo 11 moon landing on TV as a teen), I'm more effectively "targeted" by the older dancers. They're compatible for sure, and have long gotten over themselves. What they give away in a few "sags" to younger dancers, they make up for in maturity/compatibility.

Fyi, another "Alpha Dancer" here on Tuscl could arguably be Jay Jay Dancer (Jay 12 on pink site). She relayed nickfrees recent thread over there- nearly everyone skewered him for being a racist (dancers and "suckups" alike) without realizing that he's black!
Anyway, I'll grab some popcorn when you post your missive over there.

FYI- Denver has played 3 of the 4 remaining teams in the NFC hunt in prior Super Bowls. They beat Green Bay (1998), Atlanta (1999), and lost to SF 49ers (1990). A rematch with any team should be interesting.

Try posing that question on zbone.com- it is a site devoted to L.A. area clubs, with plenty of posts on COI clubs. Haven't been there in a few years- IME, SRI has the best lookers of the bunch, though not quite up to the caliber of the top Vegas clubs (which seems to be your frame of reference.)

drac- Funny that you should "roast" the exit rationale, seeing that we all spent the 1st 9 months of our lives trying to EXIT the vagina, and then spend a major portion of the rest of our lives trying to ENTER the vagina. The mouth is also an exit for spit, and for some, semen.

This isn't an issue for me as I either 1) Rarely enter clubs at an hour where this would be an problem, or 2) Clubs I patronize either have a mid shift to pick up slack, or very flexible hours.
Often, clubs have staggered hours when dancers arrive, or leave so that there isn't a large influx/outflux wirh a dead spot happening while incoming dancers get ready in dressing room. Those dancers who come in early get cut some slack on house fees while those coming in later pay higher house fees.
