Yep, you can spot genuine sadness. I think most of the hardcore PLs on here are not that type of guy. However I personally can let the club mess with my adolescent insecurities from time to time.

@blahblahblah23 - I don't think the kind of guys who get legitimately sad are the kind that usually become hardcore PLs. The guys that get legitimately sad are the type that the SC messes with their adolescent insecurities. So being turned down for sex at the strip club reminds them of being turned down for a date in high school. Except this time they are willing to pay so the rejection stings worse. To you point that these are guys who are decent looking and make good income, that makes total sense. These are guys who were a little awkward in high school and have since become successful and grown out of their awkwardness, so getting rejected just brings their adolescent insecurities to the surface.

@SJG - I think one of the things you don't understand is that for some of us going to the strip club is actually really cheap entertainment. Going to the strip club for me is MASSIVELY cheaper than my other "hobby" so I have actually been saving a TON of money this year as I am doing the SC more and my other "hobby" less. So the idea that the SC is "draining everyone's wallets dry" is total nonsense.
To give you a data point I will admit that in one instance in my other "hobby" I have burned through more money in a single weekend than what it costs me to go to the strip club twice a week for 2 years.
Past that to your point about the money being huge relative to what I am getting. Again I think we may be in different income brackets. Before I started SCing if a hot girl came to me and said she would strip naked and let me touch her tits for $20 I would have said "fuck yeah" and thought that was super cheap. So paying $100 to spend an hour+ with a hot girl who is getting me to relax, have fun, laugh, and have an orgasm I think that is an amazing deal.

For me it depends. I love the experience of spending time with an CF (and getting an LDK). But other than that I don't enjoy the club experience so if I am not there to see an CF I am there looking for the next one and I don't really enjoy it much. So yeah if I am not there to see a CF I am usually nervous when I enter the club.

@lopaw - "Common sense" and silent "understanding that what happens in the club stays in the club" is what I would sort of define as the bro code.
So one of the things that got me thinking about this was a thread on the pink forum where an ex dancer tried to contact a current dancer to check up on what her bf/husband did at the club. Ok SJG take a hint... No one seems to have posted anything other than you topically into this forum thread. That would be a good social cue that your topic or content are things that no one here is interested in and you should stop posting. If you can start trying to pick up on social cues like this maybe you will start making friends and simply be a happier person. It is really unhealthy to keep coming back to a place where everyone bullies and makes fun of you.

One of the big differences I see is that a lot of girls who are on SA have zero experience in stripping or sex work. I think this gives them a different mindset and changes the interaction. There are far less emotional hurdles to SA than any other form of sexual entertainment. For example a potential stripper might worry about being seen in the SC, or not want to be touched by someone they find gross. On SA they can keep their sugar life totally secret and be picky about who they fuck. In particular that picky-ness changes the interaction a lot as the age and looks of a PL actually can make a difference. In general it can be a lot more like dating. I personally would dress way more casual for a trip to see my ATF at the SC compared to a date on SA. But.... I am talking out of my ass here as I have never actually done SA.
