I don't think that OTC dances are that bad of an idea and could work in both parties favor. A lot would depend on the conditions of the club she works at - how much of a cut the club takes for a dance or a private room, how restrictive the club is on mileage regarding topless, nude and touching. If the club takes a large cut of the dances, charges a lot for the room and restricts mileage or nudity then both parties can profit by meeting in the middle and cutting out the club.

I'm pretty sure I am the only person who has questioned how much sympathy I should have for Floyd and it was because of his PRESENT action of driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs endangering people. But Chauvin was still wrong and deserves to be prosecuted.

Didn't they see what happened in Baltimore when the police just slacked off there? The irony of all these BLM protests against the police is that it results in more black people getting killed than ever. Black people are making the wrong decision to side with the criminals over the police.

Thanks for sharing your story oscar. But again I don't think that's something where you can conclude racism because getting treated unfairly at work is a pretty common thing. I know lots of people complaining about the same type of thing and had something similar happen to me.

You would have to explain in more depth to say that it was racism. Otherwise, from a white person's POV it looks like you're jumping to conclusions. We think black people see racism where there isn't. Like Michelle Obama's story about racism in Target.
There's lots of white people who have never seen discrimination in the work place.

But are cops well trained? They don't seem to have enough manpower to actually do policing never mind do policing and practice policing.
You would think with all the media attention this is gathering that every cop would be extra careful about what they do but there are still other videos of individual cops stupidly doing wrong things. Like firing rubber stoppers at people on their porches.

This is how I feel. The cops may not treat them the best but the gangs and criminals treat them far worse and are their big problem. The gangsters shoot indiscriminately, killing and wounding innocent bystanders but you barely hear anything about it.

I will say something harsh. How much sympathy am I supposed to have for some guy who appears to have been driving impaired and therefore did not have concern for others well being?
Why is there so much rioting when the government has done the right thing in this case? Immediately there was universal condemnation of the cop (even from the president), the officers were fired and one has been arrested.
We also need better leadership from mayors and governors. They only make TV statements when they should be on the streets engaging with the protesters in person.

There's video of him passively resisting from the very start. The other two people exited the car no problem but Floyd had to be pulled out of the car. Then the first time they try to put him in the car he just falls down.
Also, he wasn't someone who was just possibly using counterfeit money. He seemed to be intoxicated or under some influence and was trying to drive. That's a serious offense to me that could have hurt an innocent person.
Anyway, what needs to be done about bad cops is body cams and car cams on at all times and an independent federal organization whose sole duty is to monitor the local police agencies because they can't police themselves.

The president is a republican but the worst hit state and city is run by democrats. So what point is there in pointing fingers at a particular party?
We should really be coming together to blame that country that doesn't share our values, freedoms, and way of life. If China wasn't so authoritarian and lacking in free speech then they wouldn't have been able to hide the real danger and consequences of the virus thus allowing a proper and timely response by the rest of the world.
