I've done it several times, usually with a dancer who I've known for a while. As far as the "he stole from me" routine, there are cameras. My response if someone tries that will be check the videos now, I didn't touch anything.

I will show that I have enough money in my wallet to pay for the dances. Some customers get dances without having the money to pay for them too. One club where I'm a regular I do "tip" in advance, but the dancers all know that I'll be back next week and the tip is really paying for extras.

I'm surprised that the owner didn't keep fighting on the grounds that the city council passed a bill to specifically put him out of business. Most laws like that grandfather in existing businesses because when the owners of existing businesses fight hard enough they win and they also win reimbursement for their legal fees.

Yeah, I love schoolgirl outfits with short skirts. Especially when the dancer isn't wearing anything under the skirt and teases you with glimpses.

The ability to see/talk with a stripper before hand so that you know what you're getting is important, but the lack of fear about being arrested is worth the money.

@shadowcat, the clubs in Pittsburgh that charge $20 for admission all give away alcohol. That's pretty common in Pennsylvania, it's very hard to get a liquor license here.

A lot of clubs enforce that pretty strictly. They'll fire a dancer who is seen outside of the club with a customer.

Leaving a club in less than 30 minutes spending less than $20 isn't freeloading. @carolynne, there is one club in Pittsburgh where the dancers earn between $100 and $150 each time they go on stage. It's a huge club with 3 stages and a set on stage means dancing on all 3 stages. A few dancers who work there don't like doing lap dances and try to avoid doing them, they earn all of their money dancing on stage.

If you tip each dancer who dances on stage $1, you're not freeloading.

The strippers are going to lose that one. The clubs are going to change their rules to obey the ruling, pay the strippers minimum wage, and change how much they keep from every dance to make up for it. A year from now the strippers who won the lawsuit will be trying to work at clubs where strippers are classified as independent contractors because the money will be better and so will the rules.

Go-go dance or amateur night.

When I want to add a new club I send founder a PM and he adds them quickly. I also post reviews or else I don't ask him to add them.

Depending on what the guy does, the girls might even be paying him to take the photos. If he's a professional, or "professional", photographer the girls might be paying him for photo shoots that they can use in their portfolio to try to get modeling jobs. I wouldn't be surprised if he's doing that. That's pretty common, and can be legitimate if the guy really is a professional photographer.

I wonder how much he's going to win when he sues the club for wrongful arrest.

I got yelled at by one stripper when I asked if she was working Thanksgiving night because, "we have families too" until I pointed out that I was going out to a restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner and strip clubs are retail establishments the same as restaurants are and strippers are no different than the restaurant and retail employees who work on holidays. I was driving her home (to her apartment) at the time.
