I believe that what you describe is just SS. If they really want to see you OTC they will do it discreetly. The only rule that is enforced is that when a dancer leaves the club, that is the end of her shift. She cannot come back in again. This keeps the prostitues from just using the club as a pick up joint. Clubs will make exceptions for bonefide emergencies.

Yea that sounds like BS to me. The club probably doesnt want the girl seeing customers OTC but how r they going to know? Not wanting word word to get around that they are seeing a customer is another thing.

Part of it is SS. However, it is also club policy in many clubs (at least here in Texas) that dancers cannot leave the club with customers or even be seen leaving the club with someone because this results in termination.

Remember the clubs are under LE scrutiny, so they have strict rules about hookups or even the appearance of hookups.

Pure stripper shit. I had a couple strippers give their email out instead and that works well if their phones also have email. Typically at upscale clubs the dancers make good money and don't give their numbers out because they don't want to be bothered except for their high rollers. At low end clubs the dancers are too broke to have their own phones... Don't waste energy getting numbers. Plenty of escort numbers available online.

I've always gotten the "club doesn't allow them to see anybody outside of the club" line or some variation of it.

In my former regular club when I had gotten to know some of the non-dancer staff, this was technically a stated club policy. However, IMO, it seems virtually impossible to enforce to any degree of reliability if OTC is setup discretely and she doesn't walk out of the club with you.

So, I have come to the conclusion that this is SS that management plays along with because the don't want heat from LE and the want to help give dancers a way to deflect creeps.

Definitely SS. As others have said, if she really wanted to she would have. It is not as if the girls that DO go OTC are asking for permission first. ;)

If KS is your stomping ground, then you may need to change up your game. That is one difficult fucking place to casually source OTC. In some areas, being a business traveler can give on a leg up in the hunt, but it definitely worked against me in KS, as it has in places like AL and AR. Those clubs are highly geared towards regulars and I doubt that anyone is getting a girl out of one of those clubs before he has visited her at least a few times.

Since virtually every club I've ever been in has had an explicit or implicit rule against fucking customers illegally, irrespective of the location, I'd say it's not complete SS. To the extent that that particular girl ignores such a rule, it could be construed as SS.

Mea culpa. I don't really have game to step up. All I had going for me was frequent visits and I was probably considered a regular. That got me into the ballgame, but that was it. The clubs here are not extras friendly, so you have to make do with what you can. I do know that any ITC action is always under the microscope and the girls are always bitching about other dancers and what they think they are doing (whether they are or not).

I have also noticed how the staff flips out when you try to write anything down on a napkin. And how other dancers listen in when you talk to girls after lappers are over. My ATF embellished by saying she had her phone taken and smashed. Yeah, that was pure SS.

Unless the club is somehow getting a cut on the action I doubt any club will condone OTC any more than any other business would allow their employees to moonlight for the competition! But unless these dancers are in some sort of human trafficking thing where they are being held in prison-like conditions when not working there is not any way for anybody to know. So I think that it is SS.

Looney, you have the worst possible mix of circumstances as you are in an area where the cost of living is very low, which makes the dancers less motivated to earn, and culturally very conservative, which makes dancers scared to be caught. That is not a great environment for OTC action.

I find that the clubs in KS, including Lawrence, Topeka and your favorite little club in Olathe, have this weird mix of newbie dancers and semi-retired seasoned vets who have come home after working in higher profile areas. The newbies tend to be very green and the seasoned vets came back in order to escape the issues inherent in clubs in higher profile areas. I clubbed in KS a few months back and couldn't wait to gtfo.

Now having said that, I am sure that you could eventually find OTC with enough time and patience, but it would involve targeting the right type of dancer, getting her on your tit for a little bit and then coaxing her OTC. You might want to do your fishing in one of the larger clubs, like Baby Dolls, Topeka Sports Cabaret or the Dirty Bird. ;) I doubt that anyone is sourcing much of anything out of a little crap hole like Bonita Flats.

I don't know what they can really do if they see you at the local restaurant with a customer. How do they know it's really a customer?

Of course every club has that policy, be what is SS is the fact that this is what is really stopping her. If she was inclined to do OTC, then she would do it - as do many others in clubs all over the country.

The Detroit clubs I frequent do not have any policy on OTC, and dancers freely give out their numbers and emails if they are OTC-friendly. I've never heard a girl refuse OTC because the club doesn't allow it.

When I was in Paris last year, the Paris Hustler Club had very restrictive rules about OTC. Basically, if you even asked about OTC, you would be thrown out. The old sexy, sinful Paris is dead.

Stiletto, that raises some good questions: If a dancer leaves early, do the other dancers/staff try to link them up with another customer, trying to figure out which guy that left in the last 10 minutes is the guy she was going to hook up with? Or do they just monitor the parking lot cameras to see if she gets into a guy's car? I suppose if she leaves her car there until 4:00 am or overnight, they will suspect she had an OTC. So it always requires a rendezvous point, away from the club?

What about the public thing? If somebody sees the dancer and a guy in Bennigan's, they automatically assume that it is an OTC? It would require a dancer or staff at that club who recognizes the girl as a dancer and a guy as a customer to actually put it together, right? Is "dating" prohibited, too? Is an innocent lunch assumed to be part of an OTC arrangement, subject to the same firing penalty? If so, no wonder they don't want to do it.

Is it just assumed that if they are on a date that they are doing it, too? I suppose that if a dancer is ever seen in a motel parking lot by another dancer or club staff that they will be fired, even without seeing the guy?

If all this is true, then no wonder there is such difficulty and apprehension in setting it up, not only about LE but other dancers, staff, etc.
