"driver"A male accompanying a stripper to your OTC can be unsettling, to say the least. I do nearly all my OTC's at my house. I've never had a problem with dancers knowing where I live. (That also has provided some fringe benefits.) I get to know them well, long before I invite them for OTC. One thing I make sure I find out before I extend the invitation is if they have a car. If they don't, I don't invite them. I've had lesser problems with dancers that have to get a ride from someone else. If it's a cab, they asked me to pay for the cab. If it's a friend driving them, I usually got shorted on the agreed amount of time, because the friend is in need of getting to work or another committment. Fortunately, I've never had a male accompany a dancer to my house as you described. I make sure they can drive themselves, alone, to my house.

MotivationI know a dancer who began dancing at age 18, bought her current home that year, and paid off the mortgage by age 38, while dancing part time, nearly all of that twenty-year period.

Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty....I counted 55 posts and five reviews for kittykate in three days (Oct. 19-21). I also PMd with her a few times. She undoubtedly PMd with others as well. In one of her later posts, she actually said she might be ending her participation on TUSCL. I certainly enjoyed it while it lasted. She could still return. It's only been four days now since her last post.
As I've noted previously, many dancers come on TUSCL for just a short period of time, then we never hear from them again. They mostly seem to want particular advice about starting or re-starting their career. In KK's case, she said she was home, sick, and bored, but had the energy to write--did she !!!

Yesterday a favorite dancer told me that she wanted a cum shot.I've always had a name for a new drink, but not the creativity to invent it. Maybe some of you can help. What would be in a drink named, "High Cleavage?"

Hawaii Theatre in COI was supposed to re-open... what happened? The URL in my above post got cut short. This is the full:
https://www.tuscl.net/stripclub.php?DID=2215
The Strip Club Hound had a good explanation at the time: There was a zoning issue involving the requirement that strip clubs be located at least 250 ft. from a residential area. (The Hawaii Theater was right across the street from a residential area.) Hawaii got a waiver from this, but the waiver likely terminated 30 days after the Hawaii closed (and before a new club could open in that location. Whether or not the Rhino new that is questionable.

Hawaii Theatre in COI was supposed to re-open... what happened? The new club was due to be named, "Pinks." It was owned by the Spearmint Rhino folks. It even got listed on TUSCL, briefly. See:
https://www.tuscl.net/stripclub.php?DID=2215
The funny part is that it's labeled as "closed." I'm not certain it ever really opened. From my memory, the Rhino acquired the property (by lease), and made tenant improvements. I remember actually seeing a review for it. (I think it got removed for being a shill review.) I think what happened is that the Rhino management didn't do its homework, spent money on the remodel, and then either the city of Industry, or the city of Hacienda Heights denied the required final approval(s) to open.
The TUSCL member who would know best is inno123. He and I discussed it at the time. You can probably search the San Gabriel Valley Tribune for articles on it.

Any chance of restoring the mapping feature? I wanted to research San Diego clubs by using the map. Without it, it's difficult to do. A long-time favorite dancer will have a week to work in San Diego soon. She'll be staying in San Marcos during that time. I thought I'd start by working southward from San Marcos. Without the map, that's difficult.

dancer preferences?@ kittykate: "To make money, you do need to have a good attitude, make people comfortable, be a good listener and carry yourself well."
That sentence that you wrote is best single sentence of advice on the OP's question that I have ever read. Some excellent thoughts in your contribution!
@ all of the above member posters: Very good, sincere, posts here tonight. This is the best written and expressed thread in a long time!

No more Deja Vu"For years, Mission and Holt boulevards served as bustling east-west corridors for commuters from Los Angeles to Palm Springs. A plethora of motels, bars and strip clubs sprouted as a result, Lustro said."
Since about 1990, all I can recall is a total of three strip clubs on the two streets mentioned: The Strip Joint in Pomona, and Deja Vu, are both on Mission Blvd./Ave. Baby Dolls in Pomona, which closed about 2006, was on Holt Ave., just east of the SR-71 fwy. I wouldn't call three strip clubs between two jurisdictions (city of Pomona and San Bernardino County) a "plethora." (Although Holt. Ave. through Pomona was a known streetwalker lane.) If any L.A. members know of more strip clubs than those that were previously located on those two streets, I'd like to know.

Strip club consulting service"What if there was such a group of consultants who made a niche of turning dying strip clubs around. Travel the county, go to clubs, stake them out, take them over turn them around... all expenses paid."
Someone already beat you to it. See: http://www.stripclubconsulting.com/ That is just one. Maybe there are others.

Cell Phone PicsI've received many over the years. They've been sent to me as an incentive to get me to come into the club to see them, or to commit to an OTC with them. I'm not bashful about sharing them--many of them are now among my profile pics. (Some of those I cropped out their faces.)

Daytime vs Nighttime "Extras"Steve229 just about touched on my remaining point. Basically, there's more privacy in the daytime (fewer dancers=less supervision, and fewer other dancers nearby to rat on other dancers) which lends itself to dancers offering extras. Also, I've always been of the impression that, generally, the older dancers work the day shift. They're more experienced than the college-age dancers, and are more likely to be skilled in extras.
