    Worst Club
My vote is for Dancing Bare, Seattle. It's the most primative strip club I've ever seen. The business was just a porn book/video store for many years, and a few years ago, it converted some extra space in the rear into a strip club. I've only been there twice. The second time I actually dared to get a couple of dances from one dancer, and haven't been back since. A total YUCKO !!!

You L.A. (past and present) members are bringing back great memories. Shadow: I remember Tawny Little very well. Jerikson: I agree Sharon Tay is hot. I recall her from KTLA some years ago. I'm impressed that she still looks so good! Most of my present favorites are here in Seattle. One nationally known newscaster I like is Lara Logan on CBS news. She often hosts segments on 60 minutes, and serves as a field correspondent for the CBS Evening News.

    OTC Experience : The Aftermath
Sounds pretty simple to me. You seem to like the deal the two of you arranged. You just need to tell her you're not in the area now. Let her know when you'll be back, and then you'll make arrangements for your OTC. Or, do you need more advice from that point? (You'll get plenty of it here, if you need it.) Also, she may have been in immediate need of OTC cash, so don't be surprised if your "deal" isn't valid when you return.

    The Direct Approach
My experience has been with dancers I know, that they don't want to point out anything they know about their competition. I've asked some of my faves over the years, "What do you know about X dancer?" Usually I get an answer like, "I don't know what they do in the VIP. I'm paying attention to my customer when I'm back there." I've also heard stories to the contrary that dancers will tell me about other dancers who offer extras. Tucky70 and the others who do get the desired information--you may just be lucky. I like deogol's theory, though.

    Heads up you San Diegoians.
It's interesting to note that L.A. area strip club attorney Roger Jon Diamond was recruited for a club in San Diego. He may have helped the San Bernardino club mentioned in the story. Anytime an L.A. strip club gets into legal trouble, it seems that Roger Jon Diamond rides to the rescue. He may have even been hired/consulted here in Seattle to help defeat a ballot proposition a few years ago that would have established a distance limit for dancers giving lap dances. He really gets around the west coast anyway.

I concur with ranukam. Simply, don't respond to whom you consider a "jerk." A response to these members just fuels the fire. If you ignore them, they have no further fuel to feed upon. Some individuals derive pleasure from attention, no matter how negative the attention may be. We appear to have some with that temperament here on TUSCL. I left another strip club-related website because insults and abuse were freely hurled around there. There was absolutely no longer any helpful information being posted about strip clubs and strippers.

Are Stripper Shoes Becoming Mainstream Footwear for Women?
@ Estafador: In my description of stripper shoes, I mentioned "platform heels." For some examples, see: http://www.adultwholesaledirect.com/catalog/category/1437 and http://www.amiclubwear.com/shoes/shoes-heels.html

Houston's Strip Clubs Hit by New 'Pole Tax'
Government agencies are short on proof and long on conjecture that strip clubs are responsible for rapes. The legislatures that pass these laws don't seem to be aware that rape was around a for long time before strip clubs were.

Stiletto is definitely well-appreciated on this website. Her contributions as a dancer help us all understand strip clubs and related subjects much better.

How long do clubs keep security footage
Every club that has surveillance cameras uses them differently. There definitely is the type of camera that records. One club said it usually kept the recording for 24 hours. It kept them longer if it sensed there might be legal action. There's an interesting story behind one particular incident in that club. It's too long to post here. PM me if you'd like the full story and I'll tell you how to retrieve it. (It's not just posting a link, or I would do that here.)

    Move With a Favorite
I've followed dancers with their moves numerous times. Both in L.A. and now Seattle. If the increased driving distance is more than a half hour, I'm likely to be discouraged to continue to be a regular, just an occasional customer then. It only happened once in L.A. that a fave moved to a club too far away for my driving comfort, and that was to a lesser quality club. (It was a bikini club.) Here in Seattle I'm facing that dilemma now. A five-year fave is now dancing some of her shifts (same company) at a club that's a 70-minute drive for me. As long as she stays at her other club that's only a 25-minute drive, I'll contiue to see her at the nearer of the two clubs.

    Church or Club?
My experiences in L.A. and Seattle are that all of the strip clubs are open on Sundays. Most open a few hours later than the rest of the week, but Sunday afternoons has to be the slowest time of the week. I have one fave that works that time, but I'll go to see her on another day. I like going when the clubs are busy, not dead, like Sunday's usually are. Like many of the above, Sunday afternoons are prime sports times, not just during football season. If I don't have any plans outside, I'm home watching sports on TV on Sundays. But, I don't usually even THINK of going to a strip club on Sunday afternoons.

    My own strip club
@ ranukam: We've all probably thought of running our own strip clubs at various times. How often has anyone been in a strip club and said to themself, "I could do a better job of this." Your thoughts and ideas are great, but I doubt if they'd pencil out. Someone who has thought about it a great deal is inno123. He authored a six-part series of articles, "Building the Perfect Strip Club." See part 1 at: https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=16484 Also, "The Strip Club Hound" blog is very insightful on this subject. See: http://stripclubhound.blogspot.com/

    Club everyday?
Go for it! You'll only be there for a week. They'll forget about you after that. I've taken several strip club vacations. Mostly to Las Vegas. I used to stay at a hotel across the street from a strip club, which wasn't the one I intended to visit. On one trip, I coincidentally got a room with a view of that club. For four days, every time I'd look out my window, I'd see that club. But on most trips, I mostly stuck to the club my ATF worked at, whom I flew to Las Vegas to see.

Dancers who sit down and just won't leave.
It doesn't happen with me too often. If I have to, I'll make an excuse to just get up and leave my seat. If that's not a practical option, I have used Jerikson's tactic of expressing interest in other dancers nearby.

List unusual dancers you have met
This dancer is among my faves, here in Seattle: http://www.facebook.com/pages/DejaVuShowgirlsLakeCity/323906609060#!/photo.php?fbid=10150179685344061&set=a.10150179679184061.324613.323906609060&type=3&theater This photo was taken in May 2011. She was age 40 at the time. She's still dancing at the same club. She has been dancing most of her adult life since age 18, and all in Seattle. She had a couple of brief interruptions with other jobs. She never married or had kids (still has great boobs at 41, now). She and her mom and two other sisters all danced together at the same (different) club for a while. (All the others retired a long time ago.) At least she and her mom were featured on a local TV talk show many years ago, as "mother-daughter strippers." (I haven't been able to view the episode). She still has at least one regular from her early years dancing. I didn't come along until 2006. She touts herself as a "clean" dancer. She is one of two dancers I've known with similar careers. Quite a work history!

    Google Earth - get it!
Two other similar resources: 1. www.google.com/maps. Use the street view. Very easy to read, expect it hasn't photographed the entire planet yet. Some areas are still missing. You can literally drive the street in the area you want to explore. 2. www.bing.com/maps. Use the "Birds Eye" aerial photo feature. This gives an angled view as well as the conventional straight overheard view. You can zoom way down to a low level and rotate it by all four compass directions.

    Escorts, LE/DT/PO, Clubbing and TUSCL.
    1. Estafador, as you pointed out: "As Or is it the thrill of getting the stripper to go out of her regular business practice and getting her (or him for you gays or females) down and dirty?" For me I'd say that's a big part of it. It's an ego thing. Can I get a dancer outside of her intended realm? I love the challenge of that. I've been very successful at it over the past several years. 2. Jacklash said it best. Others have mentioned the same. Escorts are cheaper, but getting to know dancers first helps a lot. The escort route doesn't allow time for that and is pretty much a "wham, bam thank you ma'am" experience, then the next customer comes along.
