If you like the club, keep going, but not as often. Personally, I hate my ATF's club, so I'm happy that she's happy with exclusive OTC for now.

Come on, CT. If I recall, you're more than familiar with Detroit, and you'll hear this pitch at Bogart's almost every time! But your point is well taken. Almost always too good to be true at most clubs--a setup for ultimate disappointment.

I agree that every club is different, and I particularly agree with Sowhatt, in that taking the time and making the effort to get to know your dancer pays off, both short term and long term, in my experience. You know how they make their money, and, if you become a regular, they know you are a reliable source of it. I'm not a big spender by any stretch of the imagination, but I know a couple of girls who will find a way to get out of a conversation and will join me when they see me walk in. Not always, but almost. And it's because they know exactly what I want and exactly what I will give them.

I suspect it's a little of both. I registered at a couple of these sites, but I haven't devoted the time to really fill out my profile. Plus, there's always a monthly membership fee, and I can get pretty much the same at a local club. So far, no luck with the various sites, better luck in the clubs.

I don't know if it's lazy texting or whether she really doesn't know the difference between "you're" and "your", but my ATF's consistent use of "your" to mean "you are" drives me crazy, and not in a good way. It's (and don't get me started on it's vs. its) a good thing she has many other wonderful qualities. Yes, I am that neurotic.

There used to be a club near the Ford Rouge plan in Dearborn/Detroit called Chix on Dix. And, not strip club related, but the famous "Big Beaver Road" in metro Detroit is, I kid you not, exit 69 off I-75. Some highway planner really had a sense of humor.

Yeah, I agree with thesamurai. Not to be rude, but money talks in a club. As does being a polite, well-mannered regular. If they know you, and they know that you will spend money (you don't have to spend a ton, just don't sit there nursing a water for 3 hours), and you are polite, you will get much better service. Sometimes even free cover, without a coupon. They are in the customer service industry, after all.

I'd say four hours, as in your example, isn't too unreasonable. I dread the day my ATF follows through on her dream of moving from Michigan to Florida. I might be able to pull off one visit, but you're right, there's no way it could be a regular thing. There will always be other fish in the sea, as they say.

I'm on the younger end of the spectrum (no disrespect to our more experienced members here), and my ATF and I are the same age, so it's no big deal when we go out together. We were shopping once, and the sales lady assumed we were dating or married, so we played the part. I tend to gravitate to the more mature dancers, so the age thing hasn't been a problem (yet).

Don't you think they mean Club Venus? Or is this a new/renamed place? Either way, I hope she is ok, especially for those kids.

Could have been pure SS. Dancers are human, and if they don't like you, or you remind them of an ex, or etc., they may skip the dances and the money. My favorite stopped dancing for a guy who, although he paid well, had miserably bad breath. What would you do, as a business owner, if your miserable, cranky ex-wife came in? I guess what I'm saying is that it could be true, or not. Go back at the end of the month when her rent and other bills are coming due and see if she changes her mind.

I got a CD once, as a few of the songs on it had some significance to us. But when my birthday rolled around, I was pretty much ignored, despite my spending a small but significant amount on hers. My expectations for Xmas are approaching zero, though I'll probably get her something small, as she's still my fav.

Georg: been there and enjoyed it. We often call it her night off. I have to be careful to pace myself though, as I would do this all the time and (a) eventually go broke and/or (b) eventually wear out my welcome. I'm sure she has other customers to keep happy, after all.

I stop at my bank's ATM and, like georgmicrodong, I've been known to engage in a little pre-work fun with my ATF. Best of both worlds for each of us; she works nights, but I prefer stopping on my way home for work, and it's a guaranteed payday for her.

Not too much more to add, except that in my experience, the girls who give up free OTC are *extremely* rare. Most dancers don't go to work looking for a guy to date. Hell, I'd guess most don't go to work looking for NSA fun. They're there to make money. And if you do find a willing partner for your free OTC activities, do not expect it to last long. My experience says either the emotions will make it too complicated to maintain a healthy distance, or she'll realize she's missing out on the money and find someone else, or both. But if you can pull it off long term, good luck and best wishes.
