"If it came down to unattractive without tattoos or smoking hot with tattoos who would the anti-tattoo people choose (and 'neither' isn't an answer in this hypothetical situation)." Both :-) No,the smoking hottie fore sure (so long as smoking does mean that she is taking drags on her Camel all during the dance)

@duomaxwell "never impacted my ability to get with guys my age" -- I can remember being that age . . . frankly NOTHING would have impacted my wanting to get with you (or most any woman) at that age :-) I think Billy Crystal said it best in When Harry Met Sally" Harry Burns: Because no man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He always wants to have sex with her. Sally Albright: So, you're saying that a man can be friends with a woman he finds unattractive? Harry Burns: No. You pretty much want to nail 'em too. Sally Albright: What if THEY don't want to have sex with YOU? Harry Burns: Doesn't matter because the sex thing is already out there so the friendship is ultimately doomed and that is the end of the story.

Here is my take on the issue: It depends on three things. First, the customer. For some guys anything more than a rose or teddy bear on the ankle (or carefully concealed elsewhere) is a deal-breaker. For others, it may be a question not so much of quantity as quality. I'd definitely consider a dancer with many "artistic tattoos" over one with just a few that looked like prison or gang tats or which were poorly inked. Second, the dancer. More than once I've encountered a dancer who began a conversation with 1) What do you think of my tats? I hate them! or 2) What do you think of my tats? I love them! I am not sure how to respond to either -- but the point is that the dancers attitude toward her own body (not just the parts she can alter, of course, but in this context her body art) makes a huge difference. If you truly love your tats, it will show in how you display them -- even use them -- on stage. That's gonna make me like them more. Third, the atmosphere of the club. I've been in clubs were if you did not like tats and lots of them, you were SOL, and likewise there are still a few clubs where when you see more than a few tats on one dancer, you think "Geez, how did she get in the rotation?" In other words, my reaction to body art may be driven by what alternatives I may have. (And a fourth factor in my case - - - how horny I am).

As you can see by the number of comments in just six hours, this may be the most hotly debated issue on TUSCL (and in the SC industry generally, I would think) -- more than Natural v. Enhanced, more than Pierced v. Not, more than Thin v. Curvy, etc.

    The secret code?
GSB Eskimo Sisters are two women who have slept with the same man. The term was coined from the more common "Eskimo Brothers" for two men who have slept with the same woman and derives from the supposed practice of Inuit–Yupik people offering to let visitors sleep with their wives as a sign of hospitality. In fact, no such tradition existed among the Inuit–Yupik people. The origin of the myth is related to outside observers misinterpreting a religious ritual that did involve "wife-swapping" of a sort.

    The Grandma Factor
My wife is 50 and looks nothing like my grandmother . . . that having been said, I would not want to go to a SC to see the average 50+ year old woman dance. My current ATF is 38 and, while attractive, keeps me coming back more for her personality than her looks, whereas her predecessor was 18 and did not last for the same reason.

Jealous PL Murders Stripper, a Mother of Five
Let's be clear on one thing please . . . a STALKER is not a PL. It's not a crime to be a PL, but stalking is a criminal offense. Stalking crosses a line that even the most dedicated PL should realize cannot be crossed. Likewise, even if the dancer was a con artist in that she was truly committing criminal fraud, this would not justify killing her. Plainly this guy had serious mental problems. This case is very similar to that of Larry Bill Elliot (http://www.clarkprosecutor.org/html/death/US/elliott1182.htm) in Virginia, a case I know much better than I'd care to -- except there he killed "for" his beloved stripper -- whether through her manipulation or merely his delusion that she wanted him to do so is a debatable point . . . but he got the death penalty just the same.

Brand, spanking new book on Amazon: Don't Be An Ass: Gentlemen's Club Etiquett
Amazon review: The information contained in the book is easily obtainable for free with a 5 minute simple internet searches. The advice that is provided is more a lesson in common courtesy that inside information about what goes on in a strip club. Topics that REALLY interest strip club customers like how to get extra services while inside the club or how to establish and outside-the-club relationship with strippers are completely ignored in the book. Any man wanting useful information on this topic would be better advised to join one of the discussion groups on this topic (like tuscl or strip club network)that spending his hard earned $15 for this 28-page high school term paper.

    Pasties v. Topless
WOW! Seems I tapped into some real TUSCLer passion here! I have to say that the clubs in MD and NC that are nude or full topless that have been too generally are better than the VA clubs I must frequent -- but its not a deal breaker for me so long as the VIP is good as others have said. DC is that odd combination of full nude -- but no VIP or private dances of any kind . . . which I am guessing is equally disdained.

    It's Official,I am a PL
I think one thing may have gotten lost in the original telling . . . there were three dancers that were the principal recipients of my largess (and a few others who got lesser $$$). I actually came in below the budget I set (by a few 100 dollars). The second night with three dancers in the booth was quite an experience, but I doubt I will ever repeat it . . . instead I will looking for new experiences :-)

Actually, I plan to hook up with one of the dancers OTC my next visit -- her suggestion that we do so in order to eliminate the club's take from the champagne room. Admittedly, she may be playing me and I will never see her except at the club . . . we shall see.

High Four figures for the two nights -- The booth with a bottle of Cristal is $1000 for an hour, plus extra for the additional girls -- plus tips to the dancers and both nights I brought gifts -- Major PL $$$$ for me, as I've never spent over $1000 before the visit before this when I spent two hours in the Champagne Booth -- this time it was six hours over two nights.
