Wide spread and open availability of extras seems to be a regional thing. And as noted above, once a dancer (or a club) starts offering extras, the other dancers (or clubs) have to do the same in order to compete. So, I guess you are lucky enough to be clubbing in an area (perhaps S Florida based on your reviews) where extras are necessary in order for clubs to compete for customers. The Detroit market has many of the same characteristics (the clubs that do not offer extras, don't survive very long). Or, alternatively, maybe you're wearing a tee shirt that says "extra $$$$ for extra fun."

I agree with Jim's recommendations-- start with Angels for decent talent in both afternoon and evening shifts. Some of the dancers offer decent grinding but don't expect extras. Second option would be the evening shift at the Deja Vu-- highly variable talent but sometimes the dancers are pretty hot. Mileage is similar to Angels-- some grinding but don't expect extras. Post a report of your adventures.

I started a discussion on this topic about a week ago but I cannot locate this discussion thread in the archives----hmmm?
I don't place much credence in the rating system and the club types are pretty clearly described. As a result, I'm not too bothered by the ratings. However, it is deceptive to have a spa rated as though it was a strip club and to also not have a more complete listing of the spas the in the area.
What I'd prefer is a separate section on TUSCL devoted to spas and AMPs-- ideally a more complete listing of spas in each area. I know that there are some other web sites devoted to AMP reviews (possibly rub maps?) but they typically require a credit card to pay for a membership and I continue to be reluctant to provide any credit card info to most web sites. Thus, I'd be interested in a a "free" web site that provided TUSCL quality reviews of spas. Anyone have any leads?

Slow afternoon at BTs (in Dearborn Michigan). The waitress was the best looking woman in the club. I asked her if she ever did private dances-- she said was very tempted to do so but that the club charged her $20 for any time that she took away from her waitressing job. I covered the $20 and we went to the VIP area. At BTs extras are very commonly available and she was aware of that expectation but not experienced (she asked me how much she should charge-- I gave her a reasonable tip for extras). She was hot and fun. I checked one more strip club experience off the bucket list.

I've visited three Vu clubs in Michigan (Lansing, Ypsilanti and Kalamazoo) and never experienced more than some two way contact. The contact is somewhat unpredictable and has ranged from decent two way contact (with the kitty being off limits) to the dreaded "hands by your side" style dances. Even the dancers who seemed amenable to extra customer service, mentioned the cameras in the private dance cubicles or the VIP suites and their concerns about being fired if they or their customer got too "naughty" during a private dance. As a result, I tend to visit other clubs that offer more fun.
Thus, it is nice to hear that some of the Vu clubs feature pretty decent mileage. If I lived in the Puget sound area, that knowledge (or subtle advertising on the part of the manager) would certainly increase my interest in visiting that club.

I've had some surprisingly lame threesomes in a strip club. In one instance, the girls did very little girl on girl action but instead one girl provided a CBJ while the other one watched and masturbated. I recommend that you be pretty specific about your expectations, including the services for you as well as the activities between the dancers.
That said, I recommend that you opt for clubs with room and comfortable private dance areas. In the Detroit area, Penthouse, Flight Club, Hustler and Scores all have roomy private dance areas (although the talent at Hustler and Scores is questionable at best).

Public nudity in a museum? I prefer other forms of public nudity such as the naked mile, the naked bike ride and nudist beaches to a museum---- not to mention naked dancers on my lap.
That said, there are some obvious public health issues with public nudity. And, I've also seen a few naked bodies that would produce nausea in even the most stoic of observers.

A heads up---- be sure to bring lots of cash if you visit MBOT. Admission is pricey. Private dances and extras are also extremely costly. I don't know if female customers get a price break.

The only rationale for cutting some songs that makes even a tiny bit of sense to me is the observation that songs vary dramatically in length and cutting the longer songs is a means of standardizing the "product" (be it a lap dance or a stage performance0.
As an example, the Beatles, "Why don't we do it in the road" is about 1:40 (I'm sure there are shorter songs that are also well known) whereas the Iron Butterfly's Innagaddavida tops out at over 17 minutes.
If given the choice, I'd take the Iron Butterfly song for my $20 lap dance although it might exhaust the dancer!

A few observations based on a small sample of visits to Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theater (MBOT). MBOT seems to have pretty decent talent, both during the day (when the cover charge is a bit lower) and at night (when the cover charge is pretty steep). Most of the dancers were in the 7-8 range but there was a number of silicone enhanced dancers (not my thing). The stage shows are fully nude and they do feature a few girl on girl stage shows, some of which are pretty good but most of which involve posing and posturing only. The hustle factor is very high with girls hustling private dances and more. The costs are astronomical, try $60 for a nude lap dance and far, far more for anything beyond a lap dance.
Crazy Horse is an OK alternative to MBOT but it too features a hefty entrance fee, but less that MBOT. The talent is more variable than MBOT, but features some hot women mixed in with the not-so-hot. It also features a high hustle factor, with vague promises of fun in several tiers of VIP rooms. The prices are also quite high unless you manage to negotiate a "deal" but these are rare as the club seems to get its cut for the "VIP room" prior to any money going to the dancer.
I agree with goonster that the best action at the most affordable price can be found in the AMPs. Some of the AMPS appear to be long established businesses (like CEO Health mentioned above) but many appear to be home or apartment based AMPs (where I might worry about safety). Quite obviously, location determines competition and competition determines survival. Thus in the land of the modest, the skimpy outfit is titillating and a non-extras strip club is even more erotic.
However, in some areas of the country (e.g., Miami, Detroit), non-extras clubs have a special name: out of business.

If you select Flight Club for the meeting, do so with the knowledge that the prices are currently unrealistically high. By this summer, the "cartel" will have probably self-imploded but do keep and eye out for pricing problems.

I stopped by Flight Club (FC) on a recent afternoon and was surprised with the prices that were quoted for extras. Across multiple dancers, I was quoted 200 or higher for BJ and 400-600 for FS. I was told that the strippers got together and decided that the economy was doing well enough to justify a price increase.
Mostly cute dancers at FC, but I'm not interested in paying that kind of money or doing anything to support a price fixing cartel. I took my cash across the street to Bogarts and had a good time for a fraction of the FC costs.
Fortunately, cartels are inherently unstable so this may be a transient thing (I hope). If a cartel member is willing to undercut the standard price for a commodity or service,they can make a lot of money (until the cartel either punishes the "cheater" or adjusts the cartel's standardized prices downward. I don't know how long the astronomical prices will stay in effect at FC but I recommend that you take your money to some of the other Detroit area strip clubs that are still offering a good time for more reasonable prices (e.g., Landing Strip, BT's, Players, Bogarts (on the cheap end of the continuum)). Hopefully the impact of high prices on overall business at the FC will encourage a more realistic pricing scheme at FC.

Good distinction between a union and a cartel. The price fixing that I described at Flight Club does sound like a cartel. I realize that cartels are inherently unstable because each participating member can boost sales and make more money by undercutting the agreed-upon price. I also realize that cartels can be destabilized if they do not control the entire supply of a commodity or service-- thus my encouragement to take your business to other strip clubs that have not organized a cartel.
Hopefully this cartel will not last very long.

Flight Club warning---- if you're interested in extras (beyond condiments) with your lunch I would avoid flight club until the "stripper union" backs off on its recent hike in the standard price for extras. 400-600 for FS (a consistent quote across multiple afternoon dancers) is unrealistically high in my opinion. Attractive dancers at a more realistic price point are available in the Detroit metro area. BT's, Players, Landing Strip would be good alternatives.
