Just a quick update in case anyone cares: Stopped by Desire at night recently - lots of very pretty girls but didn't see any college age coeds and the dances I got were somewhat lame. However, there were tons of girls and all of dancers I spoke to offered extras in CR and in general, the issue of it being a regular's club was less at night and the average age seemed less than during the day. Was at Foxy last week at night and had a decent time but couldn't stay that late and it seems that these clubs don't start hopping until around midnight. Foxy evening crew was a bit older than daytime but fairly similar. Was at Caddy for beginning of evening shift so didn't see things in action but the evening crew looked similar to daytime. Note - Cameron is now working some evenings but her dances have become fairly tame. The bottom line seemed that while there were some key differences between day and evening, it seems likely that the club you like for one shift will also be the club you like for another.

Folks - Thanks so much for all of the feedback and advice. Yes, I am sure I am overthinking this but I live my life outside of the SC to remain unphased because I am a horny guy that likes to have a good time with strippers!! I had never thought about OTC prior to yesterday and then had all of these questions / concerns. You guys mentinoed a whole bunch of stuff I never would have thought about, especially about any drug issues. I have known this dancer for a while a she doesn't strike me as a user but I am probably not the best judge for this. Also, I am not concerned she is going to be a ROB - have done enough dancers with her in 2 different clubs to know that she has never acted that way with me in the club and have certainly seen that behavior before from others. So, all of the questions are me just being paranoid about doing something riskier than going to a club and trying to avoid all the potential pitfalls.
I think I will take her up on her offer as it just seems like a no brainer from a value perspective and the club is getting more and more restrictive so it is getting harder to have a good time there.

I tend to do about 20 LD to every 1 CR for a few reasons. First, I really do like variety and this spreads my money farther and slower. Second, I'd much rather blow $25 or $35 (price range for the clubs in my area for LD) with a girl I don't know rather than spend $130 to $250 (again, price range in my area) and be disappointed. Third, I always push the limits with the girls in the LD area and suggest that this a trial run for doing a CR. Many girls accept this and I have had some outstanding LDs for fairly cheap money. Lastly, my goal in doing a CR is to leave happy. At my age, that usually means that I am done for that visit. And, if this ends up with wet pants, then I have absolutely no interest in staying. So, I tend to do a CR only when the girl has done such a great job in the LD that I just have to finish what we started.
However, all of these comments are based on my experience in Providence, where you can get 2 way contact in the LD area and extras are fairly common in ViP. If you can't get extras in ViP, then no reason to pay for more time. If you can't get 2 way contact in LD but can in ViP, then ViP becomes much more attractive.

Rick - thanks for the response but three comments. First, all of the girls I take to LD or CR are in their teens or 20's - most of them are college age - have never been with a 40 year old dancer in my life and no intention of starting now.
Second, have probably had 15 BJ (mostly BBBJ) over the years for $175 or less from many different very good looking girls and certainly at least that number of HJ. Don't ever remember paying more than $200 for a CR although I guess it might have happened once or twice. In the past two weeks, 2 very good looking dancers (one 22 and one 26) offered HJ or BJ for $160 Maybe evening shift is much more expensive than daytime - don't go that often.
Third, while there are many girls that are stuck up at Foxy, haven't run into any ROBs in my recent experience. Instead, have found a significant increase in a number of very good looking younger dancers there. If anything, Caddy is full of ROBs but most of these tend to be the older girls who don't get that much action but have certainly seen some young ones there as well.
Again, looking for advice as to:
1) What clubs have the best options for weekday evening or weekend evening for girls that I might like?
2) What shifts at these clubs?
3) What dancers should I be on the lookout for?

I have been going to clubs for years and always go alone. First, I like the anonymity but more important, I do what I want to do without having to meet someone else's schedule. If I was a guy that went to clubs solely to have a few beers and watch the dancers, then hanging out with friends makes a lot of sense. However, I like to enjoy the company of dancers, including LD and sometimes CR, and that is a solo sport.
While I don't know if it is most, but many guys go solo and if you are interested in any dances, you will probably have better luck by yourself. Otherwise, the dancer has to manage multiple guys when she stops by your table - easier to target one by one and see who is willing to pay for her time.
However, if you stop by clubs on a regular basis, always by yourself, and never tip at the stage and never dance with the girls, then after a while, the girls might wonder. But, who cares? And, unless a guy is acting weird or is being loud, other guys won't pay any attention to you.
I tend to frequent the clubs in Providence and there is one club there that is primarily for regulars and there seems to be lots of guys who use the club like a local bar, except this one has topless women dancing. I can't be sure, but I bet many of those guys come alone and just sit and drink. But, remember, that is common at this club but not at the other clubs in Providence. Check out the reviews where you live and maybe there is one that is similar - you might feel more comfortable starting your clubbing career in a club like that.

I used to go to Fantasies a lot and had my choice of girls that would happily do a BJ (in many cased BBBJCIM) in the rooms but now with the holes in the doors and many LD spots closed, action is severely diminished.
On the LD side, still high contact and I can usually get away with more south of the border action than typical in a LD room with a few dancers but that used to happen with at least 1/2 of the girls. Also, the quality of the dancers, never mind the quantity, at CF is way down.
Caddy is my other standard club and things have changed but extras are apparently fairly easy to find. I was there earlier this week and the girl had no problem having her hand roam up and down my leg and caressing my junk while we were grabbing a drink near the stage - this is not unusual. As I was low on funds, we did a 15 min couch upstairs - sort of like an extended LD but without any partitions. As we were the only ones upstairs, had a fair amount of privacy and she had no issue giving me a HJ but it had to be inside my pants and I'm not a big fan of jizzing in my pants. This wasn't too bad - $125 including house fee. In addition, she offered FS or BJ in the CR for $250 - she said that even though the curtains stay open a bit, no one looks. I have been told this by a few girls at Caddy. This is not the case at CF where the bouncers are checking out the rooms all the time, according to the dancers there - one of my ATF says that she can get away with more in the LD area than in the CR!!
Oh, one change at Caddy that is fairly new, the girls can't be in the booth with you before the song starts - they have to wait in the hall.
Also, at CF, the price of the LD went from the $25 to $30. I also read that at Foxy, they now have some sort of timestamp for the LD booth rather than going by song - their LD area sucked before, with this new change, if true, seems like a total waste of time.
So..as someone that isn't a regular at Desire, is it worth going there now?
Also, I typically go to clubs during the day but suppose I could try and get there for an evening if things were much better. It used to be you could get young and petite and pretty at CF during the day and no where else - I now see a few of these at Caddy but haven't seen any recently at Foxy or Desire.

Lots of answers for a newbie - hope we didn't overwhelm you. I briefly read most of the replies here and basically agree with them, so a few additional comments:
First, go and enjoy your birthday and don't overthink this too much.
Second, if your brothers are willing to share the name of the club, read a bunch of reviews before you go. You will get a good idea of what happens there. Also, feel free to PM some of the guys that look like they are frequent visitors.
Third, chances are your brothers have been to the club they are taking you - hopefully, they won't BS you, but you know your brothers and whether they want you to have a great time or want to embarrass the hell out of you.
Forth, as many others have said, take only the amount of money you can afford and don't bring the credit/debit cards as the little head can cost you a shit load of money. Along this line, keep the drinking to a minimum - this way you will remember what you did in the morning.
Fifth, whether you can do your homework before or not, talk to some of the girls and ask about the place and what happens there. Of course their job is to sell you, but if you get fairly consistent answers, you know what is allowed, especially regarding how much contact is allowed. And, as others have said, if one club in the area allows contact, most like others do too, read the reviews on a few clubs in your area, even if you don't know which one you are going to go to.
Sixth, when a girl tells you a line like "you'll have a great time" or "none of my customers are ever disappointed" or some vague line, find another girl. Sometimes, they are just being coy as they fear you might be a cop but generally, I have found the less specifics mean the less action. However, if LDs are priced reasonably at the club, give the girl a spin, this is usually the best way to determine if you want to spend more and get a CR.
Seventh, stick to the basics - stage side tipping, Lap Dances (LD) and Champagne room (CR) until you are more familiar with the club. While the other stuff like lezzie shows and body shots might happen, certainly not the norm and agree with another posted, most packages are total rip offs.
Lastly, I wear fairly thin black dress pants and go commando - the grinding is so much more pleasurable. If you end up with a girl that wants to stick her hands down your pants, what she is looking for is readily available.

I have never been do Dolls, Mickey's, nor Studio 253. I have been to Satin Dolls and didn't include them in my previous review as they are one of the worst clubs I have ever been to, but if you like the idea of a bikini club, try them out - the girls weren't ugly but you have to get a private dance if you want to see anything that you can't see at the local beach!!
Dolls does seem to have a faithful following but a recent comment "The VIP doesn't come with the Providence experience, but the entertainment is quite enjoyable." seemed to have summed up what most reviewers said - including both the reviews written here and the comments the faithful have PM'd me directly. That is why I didn't include them.
Mickey's and Studio get such poor reviews on a consistent basis, have absolutely no interest in going, but clearly people go there so they must have some redeeming quality.
Bottom line of which club you go to is really based on what you are looking for. I'd highly suggest after reading the comments here, choose 2 to 3 clubs that sound good and then read the last 5 or 6 reviews and you should get a pretty good idea of what to expect. Also, there can be a big difference on what day you go and whether you go day vs. night. If you want the place to be busier, go on a weekend night, based on the reviews that I have read but realize that the more guys usually means the harder it will be to find time with the girl that you like.
At the end of the day, you could ask 10 guys who go to RI clubs and get at least 8 different opinions and you could visit each club 4 times and get very different experiences. As such, you really need to use these reviews simply as a guide.

The girl I was talking to was 24 and she said that she started at 17. I don't see why should would bullshit me about this - I could see if she was pretending to be 17 or 16 so I would want to dance with her but no reason to tell me about something she did 7 years ago - not going to affect me at all right now.
While I have major 2nd thoughts about doing a dance with a girl that is only 16 or 17, I do like them young, so if legal, might be worth a drive to CT as isn't that far for me.

First, I would stick with the Providence club scene. While i have not been to the RI clubs outside of Providence, from reading the reviews and PM'ing others that have been, there doesn't seem to be anything you can't find more easily in Providence. Here are some very quick comments based almost exclusively on daytime visits, but feel free to PM me for specific questions:
1) Cheaters - run down club, older and uglier girls, any and all action available, including BBFS - ocassionally a diamond in the rough but don't expect it. Only go there if you want a seedy style club OR if you want BBFS which is not as easily available in other clubs.
2) Cadillac Lounge - this is a classier form of Cheaters in that most anything you could be looking for can be found here but the place is much nicer and the girls are much prettier and younger. However, there is a bit of a seedy factor here as most of the girls provide FS and supposedly many of the girls have pimps. There is almost no privacy in the LD area but no one seems to mind - I have happily played with a girls pussy while others walked by. The most expensive CR in providence - $50 to house and between $150 and $200 to the girl depending on level of service.
3) Desire - this often times is called a regulars club but based on a recent visit, this seems not to be as bad as it had been. In the past the girls were older (daytime visits previously didn't find girls younger than 30) but very recent visit on a Friday, this had changed dramatically - lots of really pretty young girls. The best LD rooms in Providence with full doors that close but many of the girls do not provide extras and suspect that FS is not easily found here. they also have a private membership club that is supposed to be pretty posh if you think you would coming here on a regular basis. LD are $25 topless and $35 nude (same as Caddy and Fantasies) and CR is $30 to house, $100 to girl plus whatever you negotiate for extras - same price as Fantasies.
4) Fantasies - this is my favorite club but it can be hit or miss lately. I love the 2 for 1 LD Sun-Tue days and you can also do mini laps stage side for a buck, although this isn't happening as often as before. The CR have full doors that lock so if you are looking for extras, they can be had here with the right girl - most will provide HJ but BJ or FS is not out of the question, depending on the girl. The LD area is OK, you get some limited privacy, better than most but worse than Desire. CR - $130 will usually get you HJ but I have gotten BBBJ for the same price plus tip of course. In addition, this was usually the best club for younger girls during the day but it seems that Desire and Caddy might be changing that.
Foxy - I am not a fan of this club but if you are the type of guy who simply wants to watch stage side and have a drink, this could be your club. The girls tend to look like more mature models with only a few young really pretty "girl next door" types around. The LD area is a joke - it is like a maze where you literally walk over other people to get to your cubby - almost no privacy and based on a couple of recent laps, nothing is ever going to happen in the lap area - I couldn't even kiss her boobs!! The girls that I have spoken to don't do any extras but have been told that some of the girls there do. $25 lap (only toless) and $60 to house and $100 to girl for CR - have never gone, so don't know much else.
Regarding your specific questions, again based on daytime visits:
Busiest - Caddy, Foxy, and Desire were all pretty busy on recent visits
Best variety - that can really change based on what shift you go - Foxy and Desire were almost all white girls when I went last, Fantasies has probably the biggest choice of girls of different ethnic backgrounds and different body types.
Best value - I don't tend to drink when I go to clubs - I get mostly water, so can't comment on the price of booze. Best price of LD is Fantasies Sun-Tue day when it is 2 for 1. Other times, Caddy, Fantasies, Desire, and Foxy are all $25 topless or $35 nude per song except I don't think they do nude LD at Foxy. Best price for CR is Desire or Fantasies - $130 for 15 minutes. Not including Cheaters here as you need to pay extra for Godiva room for a visit which is where all LD and CR are and you tend to negotiate more with the girl for services rendered.

While I have never yet bumped into anyone that I know at a club, and certainly hope I never do - would just be a very different experience and I like being able to do whatever I can get away with at a club.
Anyway, was at a club the other day and the dancer came up to me and said that the strangest thing just happened to her. She was on stage (the nude stage) and one of her dad's best friends walked in and sat down. She said no one in her family knew what she was doing and the worst part, she is quitting this business in just a couple of days. At my favorite club in RI, they offer 2 for $25 dances on Sun - Tues day. Most everybody that works those days charges this fee but some girls say that they charge more (i.e. 2 for $30) and one girl that might have recently left, said she didn't like 2 for 1s but would do it if I bought her a drink (I would ahve paid a tip, so all is good in the end). However, on the other days and at night, I have gone in many times and said to the girl that I am used to do dances for the 2 for 1 price and can they do somethign for me. Some will offer 2 for $40 (house fee on Sun-Tue day is $5 for set whereas house fee rest of the time is $5 per dance - you pay the dancer and she pays the house, so dancer makes $10 a dance Sun-Tue day and $20 a dance rest of the time. So, 2 for $30 when it is not 2 for 1 also brings the dancer $10 a dance), others will do 3 for 2. Well over half of the dancers that I ask will do dances for less than the $25 per dance when it is not 2 for 1 time, so I ask. Worse that can happen is that they say No. Of course, I have an excuse, the girls in general know I come mostly on the 2 for 1 days, so I am simply be honest when I ask.
Now, regarding CR, the price is $100 to dancer and $30 to house for 15 minutes. I have only seen one dancer offer a better deal although I have heard of a few dancers offering a BJ for $100 total but that is not the norm. Generally, they have a menu if you want extras and these are almost always negotiable. One girl even quoted me $100 extra for a HJ and $200 for a BJ but if I didn't have the money, she would do the BJ for an extra $100. I am not sure how that is negotiation as she offered her standard rate and then immediately reduced it but depending on how busy it is, most girls will come down in their standard rates for extras.
Sorry, long winded answer that essentially says, you can always ask but you run the risk if you get too many NOs, the girls will avoid you altogether.

I know how you feel. I too have waited for a favorite dancer on more than one ocassion. A couple of times, you are next in line and off you go but I have wasted hours waiting only to find that she needs to go out for a smoke, or have something to eat, or there is another guy that is buying her a CR. As I typically do mostly lap dances, CR always trumps me. The waiting sucks and you don't want to do a dance with another as you are sure you will miss her.
My suggestion is that do a dance with another, if you can afford it, and then if you can hook up later with your favorite, great. But, waiting and then not getting what you want, that just makes it worse. Btw, this just happened to me this past week. I had to be somewhere else later that afternoon, so I had to leave the club by around 4:00. I see my favorite a couple of times and she says give her 10-15 minutes and we can party and of course, each time she comes out, she is busy again. The last time, it was 5 minutes to 4 when she gets out of the CR, she goes to the john, and then waves at me as she goes downstairs for a smoke. I say screw it and leave and I end up being late. I haven't lost anything in a club but in the last 50 visits, I think I have only been overcharged once by a girl who I had danced with many times before and she was fired shortly afterwards. Now, I know I am lucky but in general I believe that most people are honest and most strippers know that if they want more business, the only way is to treat the customers right. Carolynne has the perfect attitude, if you take care of the guys, they are going to come back and they will tell their friends. If you screw them over, they aren't going to come back and they will also tell your friends. If you want to many money in any business, it is about creating long-term relationships and treating people fairly. Used car people can get away with being sleazy as they don't expect to ever do business with you again but too many patrons in SC come back time and time again, so I applaud the girls that have the same attitude as Carolynne.

Well...I read the first 20+ posts in their entirety and then the posters started getting even longer winded than I am, so I skimmed the rest, so if I am repeating, sorry about that. A few thoughts:
1) Every guy has a different opinion in terms of what they like - some like black girls with thick asses and others like white chicks with tiny boobs. You can't change who you are but each club has a bit of a personality and the type of dancers they attract and therefore the type of guys they attract. If your club is almost all skinny white girls and you are the only one who isn't, you might not get much business - just a simple matter of supply and demand.
2) I agree that you don't need to be a 10 to do well. However, if you are pushing 40 and have an extra 50 pounds on you, then many of the guys are going to simply walk on by when you ask for a dance. The girls we call "fugly" just dont get as many dances. For the rest of my response, I am going to assume that you are average to above average looks, and therefore should be able to make decent money.
3) While good hygiene and not being stoned/drunk are great suggestions, another major turn off for me is you smelling like an ashtray. All of the strippers I know smoke but most find a way to get rid of the smell - I don't konw what they use as I don't smoke but I trust you can find out.
4) I think the comments that I read from the other strippers were mostly right on the money, although I don't think most of the guys that visit clubs are necessarily as bad as we were painted - but getting advice from a stripper friend makes a lot of sense. However, this is a competitive business and if you start taking dances away from another dancer, no matter how much they think you are a nice person, they aren't going to be that friendly. I have never seen so much drama, other than at high school, as at a strip club. The girls are always trash talking about the other girls. Don't get into this shit - can't see anyway that this can be positive.
5) Attitude is key. The girls that simply go through the motions on stage or air dance are going to get a bad rep very quickly and as you can see, us guys love to gossip about our SC visits. Now, most guys dont even know about TUSCL, but the word is going to get out. The girls that move sensuously and make us believe in the fantasy are going to get our attention. The girls that smile at us and wink at us and make us feel like we are the only guy in the room are definately going to get our attention. A few well chosen words spoken to the guy when he is watching you stageside is going to encourage him to tip. We all know it is a game but at the same time, we all get lost in the game and the more we get lost the quicker we are to spend money.
6) What you say really counts. Don't treat us like 17 year olds and tell us we are so handsome and have such a huge cock. We know this is bullshit and at least for me, that is a real turn off. However, asking about our day and making an effort to engage in conversation is going to make us feel good - just common sense. Obviously, some guys aren't talkers. Your job is to size them up quickly and not waste too much time on guys that aren't going to buy you a dance without being a jerk about it. While you need to make money, don't be pushy - girls that are pushy get far fewer dances. Ask politely for a dance but these shouldn't be the first words out of your mouth. My favorite approach is when the girl sits in my lap and rubs up and down the legs while hinting at what might happen in the LD area, asking me about my day and asking if I want some company. Not all guys are going to like this, so respect what they want by asking.
7) Guys talk a lot about the girlfriend experience - girls that message the shoulders or give the hugs and especially the girls that give a kiss (not for every guy) are going to make us feel special and everyone likes feeling special.
8) How a girl dances can dramatically affect if I want to tip or ask for a LD or VIP. The smiling, sensuous moves, great pole tricks and if allowed at your club, side stage dancing (my club allows the dancer to sit in the guys lap and do a mini lap for a tip), all help me decide to part with my money. Note - while you work hard for your money, guys can spend $200 in an hour or so at a SC. This can mean a couple of days work spent in a hour. Respect the spender and be appreciative that they just spent that much money on you.
9) If I like the girl's looks and she has a decent attitude, I will oftentimes get a LD. Even if I don't like the attitude and think the girl is smoking, I will get a LD. However, if the LD is mechanical or if the girl continues to push my hands away (the clubs I go to allow mutual contact), then I will probably only buy one dance. If the girl asks me what I like - I am a boob man, so stick those in my face and let me play with them, I am happy. Don't grind on me so hard that my cock hurts - yes, that has happened. One girl kept jumping up and down on my lap - I stopped the dance.
10) I get VIP when one of two things happen. First, the girl is offering extras and I am horny and have the cash. Second, the dances are so sensual, I just want to spend more time with her, regardless of what else happens. And, all guys are different. Many don't want extras and some guys only want FS. Don't lie to the guy about what you are going to do if you aren't and don't be vague and say shit like "nobody every complains." If the guy asks a direct question about what to expect in VIP, tell him - no BS. If you don't do extras, that doesn't eliminate you, but giving me a BS line will.

MassD - It is all a matter of what you like. Personally, I like the younger, petite dancers and I can find them plenty on Tuesday day and given it is 2 for 1, I am a happy camper. I usually can only go during the day and can find what I am looking for on Tuesday, I don't tend ot go other days. However, I have been several times on Monday and it can be dead, so I try not to go them. On the day shift, I have also been on Sat, Sun, Wed and Thur - for some reason, don't think I have on Friday in the past couple of years. A few weeks ago, Sat day was dead. There were a few nice additions on Wed and Thurs but I'd rather have more laps, so Tues is my day.
No question, Desire is a great club Rick but I don't love going to a club and needing to go back time and time again to become a regular so I can get a dance. However, if this is your club of choice, you are golden. Also, to both Rick and Ronnie, not a fan of Caddy - don't like the openess of the lap booths - doesn't seem there is any privacy, the CR were more expensive than CF, and last couple of times I was there, the girls on stage were barely dancing and there was no one that I was interested in. First, you aren't the first guy who has done something similiar and as you say, it could have fallen out.
Second, assume the girls are only after one thing - your money. Many girls won't rip you off but most will take advantage of any situation they can find. Getting change is unheard of.
Third, I typically try to go to my club with $20, $5, and $1. I put the ones in my pocket for stage tips and leave the rest in my wallet. The average dance at my place is $25, so this way, I always have the change. However, if I do need change - walk over to the bar and have them break a $20. If you give a girl too much and ask for change, she is going to try to get yuo to give her the extra as a tip.
Last, I also only bring a limited amount of money inside with me. If I a going to get a VIP, I need to go out to the car and get more dough. Not only does this reduce the chance of getting ripped off (or lose it myself) but this also gives me a minute to think with the big head and make sure that I really do want to CR. Sometimes the little head thinks before the big head is engaged. This break also gives me a chance to check my phone for any messages. If I had a call that I need to return, I do so from my car rather than a noisy SC. I just don't need to have to explain where I am and what is that loud music in the background.

If you don't want to dance with the girl now, I usually say I am waiting for someone else. However, there are a few fugly dancers at my normal watering hole that continue to come up to me asking for dances when I have refused them every single time. I have wanted to say essentially, "sorry, you aren't my type" and a few times have thought of saying "I don't dance with fugly women" but instead I generally say "No thanks" as I don't need the drama or some stripper's boyfriend of pimp meeting me outside the club with a baseball bat. The unfortunate thing is that you really need to be careful as some of these girls are fucking nuts.

Not my type - while I like young, I like petite girls with natural boobs, although if she was a stripper at my club, I'd have to take her for a spin!!

For my local SC, a topless LD is $25 and nude is $35, whereas CR is $130 for 15 minutes nude plus a free drink, and there is a door on the CR whereas only limited privacy in the LD booth. So...if you think you are going to get a few LDs from a girl, the CR can be a much better deal money wise. Also, with closed door, you get more privacy and with the dance being nude, at least more contact and much better chance of extras. However, I like variety and am watching my wallet, so I typically do mostly LDs and then only once a month or so I do VIP. However, I only choose VIP for girls that I know are going to deliver. I have had few duds over the years and totally agree with Ranukam, if you pay first, you could be screwed and not in the way you want.
