shadow,
I usually just leave my drink covered as you suggest. And as Dan suggests, I think we all go by the honor code system.
At PP, where the bathroom is relatively close, two minutes that you are gone is not much, even if it is packed, you should be able to make it that quickly to the bathroom.
At Tootsie's, where the bahroom, is a mile away and worst to get to on a busy night, I just bring my beer and admit that I will be finding a new spot to sit later. One time, they took my beer with more than 3/4s full, one of the few times, I called over for the floor manager and demanded a new beer.
Oh well.

at shadow's favorite club, I made several visits during the summer. I really liked one of the girls who was a waitress, young, innocent, always smiling, no jadedness. She suggested that we should go to dinner one time. I said ok.
I called her the next time I was coming to town, I told her I would be at the club that day and that we could talk then. She said she would go to dinner, but needed her mom to drive her into town for it. I was just too creeped out by that.
I don't like the mother daughter thing, I also think it is often a scam, of a random older dancer and younger dancer, who will try anything. Now, sisters, that's a different story.

I hate empty clubs, I very rarely go to a club during the day even on days off or Saturdays. So the empty feel doesn't work for me.
Depending on which club I go to, I expect there to be no seats or limited number of empty. At Tootsie's in Miami, getting to max capacity is hard, even when it was packed with people, I was still always able to find seats(just not great ones).
At PP in Columbia, if all the seats are taken, I am ok with that as long as there is energy in those seats. Sitting and talking with no attention to the outside world around you is horrible to the dancers as well as your fellow customers. If you are at the stage, tip! Don't make one guy do all the work. Don't ogle a girl the entire time she is at the side stage, then give nothing.
If there is tipping going on, flirting, guys going to get dances and coming back, and energy movement, again, I am ok with it being packed.
*****************************
SIDENOTE:
What is the proper etiquette in a packed club for keeping one's seat?
Let's break it down to:
A Seat at the Bar?
A Seat at a Table?
A Seat at the Stage?

samsung1,
You are right, they aren't mean guys, but they define the stereotype of the big, orge like bouncer. Most of them are pretty friendly guys who asked me if I needed anything each time I went (non-threatening manner). They are just so big, it would take ten of me to take down some of them.

Some clubs give funny money, club dollars, etc. which to me always just looked like photocopied sheets of paper. Obviously in small time bars this wouldn't fly, but some of those Mega Clubs like Tootsie's in Miami, I always thought someone could pull of the fakery.
I would never try it because I value my body to much to have some guy named Bruno come pick me out of a lap dance, throw me down the stairs, and leave bloodied and battered. (If you haven't seen the bouncers at Tootsie's you know what I am talking about).

Re: bree
She probably is one of only two porn stars (Rachel Roxxx, the other) that I would actually go and get a dance from and that was before I read this. Now, I can only hope she travels closer soon (not creepy sounding right).

Simply, they are two different places with two different clienteles.
Mons is McDonald's. Lots of plastic, blonde hair in the air, no privacy, good two way contact, but no privacy, no extras, no alcohol. 20 dollars to get is true, but after that, you don't have to spend a dime, no sleezy bathroom guy, no smoking are also pluses. Is this a place for me though? It's a good introduction to strip clubs. The ladies, in general, are what we want in a stripclub (they are all 7+, even if some are plastic).
As for PP, PP is fun and great, and has a great stable of young ladies, but one of my favorite places, Cheetah Palm Beach, is similar in many ways. You can go in there spend 10 bucks to get in, and spend less than 50 and still have a great time. It is a strip club, not a pretend gentleman's club, it's not seedy. It's what we hope for in a strip club.
Different strokes, different folks.

Figured I should answer my own question:
I have gone occasionally for a boxing/MMA fight if it is on PPV and I don't get it (yeah it would be cheaper to pay PPV then go to the club where I am bound to get dances, but still it's fun).
I would like to go to one of the charity golf events, but I have never played golf in my life, so I don't think that would be as much fun.

The movie isn't about strippers, but does have a strip tease and lap dance scene given by Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean fame). The movie is called Domino, great scene

I agree sometimes waitresses seem better looking, a lot of times, it as stated because the allure of seeing all these naked women, but having the few that are completely clothed and look good.
My first favorite waitress turned dancer, but for very different reasons. She used to become very drunk on the job, used to smoke a lot in the bathroom, and was generally "bad" at her job according to her bosses. She became a dancer (she wasn't very good on stage or for dances), but she looked great. She no longer dances or works at the clubs.
I have seem one of the hottest waitresses become a very hot dancer, who now gives all the extras.
Even at shadow's favorite club, the champagne girl, seemed really hot, but said she wouldn't dance.

Well, I texted her something simple wishing her good luck and asking her to keep me updated. She responded back that she will. Not that worried as i probably will never see her again, but still feel confused about the whole thing in the sense of she still has her old phone number (which out in LA would be long distance) so I feel on some level I feel like I might be lied to. Oh well, just gives me more girls to spend money on.

Thanks Jablake,
Great Info, you describe what I picture. And as much as I tried, I don't think I could have ever found that website.
While I might try it out, it seems WAY out of price league. It almost seems like they promote it as a non-stop bachelor party kind of place from all the VIP separate rooms for 25+ people. I might check it out one night.

Went on Sunday to a club to hear a tale about a young lady whose boyfriends beat her so she dumped him, took all her possessions came down to Miami and had no place to sleep and slept in her car the night before. I got one dance and said I am no miracle worker

In some states, including Florida, the smoking ban is only in effect where food is a certain percentage of the overall profits of the business. Most of the clubs in Florida, despite banning smoking, still have smoking.
Honestly, ridding smoking is always great. Honestly, I bet within 10-15 years, smoking cigarettes will almost completely taboo among the U.S. population.

I went to Tootsie's with about 250 in my pocket and had a good time. Cheetah Hallandale and Scarlett's is great as well. Tootsie's will have the feel of a fun house for guys with as many girls walking around as big as the place is. Depending on the time/day you go, the beers stay cheap and you can order like 5 of them.
But for a cheaper better more intimate experience Cheetah and Scarlett's are better.

I have seen similar, but normally the guy is waiting for some girl to do the butt shaking, grinding dance on stage and as harrydave suggested make "it rain" on them (throwing dollars in the air for the effect that it looks like a lot). I never liked that idea, depending on the place, I would rather just place it in the garter belt, or just hand it to her. The girl has to collect all that money sooner or later, so why make it harder on her.

I think dancers (despite stereotypes) have great memories. It can be weeks since I have been in the club and they can remember our last conversation almost word for word. I just find it amazing each time that it has been longer than that and they remember me. Or at least they fake it real well until they get enough clues.

One place I go to has girl on girl shows and while normally it is two of the strippers. The last time I went, the stripper that normally does it during her set of songs on the main stage pulls up this girl who had A few too many and begins to make out with her. While that is going on, another girl who definitely had too much to drink and was playing with daddy's money went on stage and started pulling her jeans down. The bouncer politely asked her to step down and she did. BTW Most of the guys eye's never left the girls making out.
Entertaining to say the least.

driver's comment brings up a good point...
Mnay of the dancers who talk with me for the first time, usually ask where I am from. Usuaully if I am local... Do the girls treat "locals" better as they can be regulars more often or out of towners better b/c they can spend more money?
As for the biggest BS... No matter how many times I go to a place it is my first time if I have never seen her before. As for the other biggest lie, told one I was about to graduate from law school, she liked the idea.

I think also the girls have schedules (from 6-2) and to come out before that they risk flooding the market. Also maybe it has to do with the payout to the club as well. If they are there for a certain amount of hours (especially peak hours) does the amount they have to pay to the DJ, bar, house increase? Just a thought. Have seen some girls leave after they had made their money/the house payout and the place was still crowded where they could make more.

Simple things matter
Large, well lit free parking
No line to get in
3 stages, 3 song performances (clothed, topless, naked)
Sexy/Cute Outfits not evening wear
Separate Bar and Table Seating with Bar being big enough to accomodate 2-3 barmaids
Cute Waitress
No Smoking(Mons Venus Tampa) or if Smoking is allowed really really good vents (high ceilings help)
Cheap Drinks (currently paying 5 for a bottle, even 3 would be better)
20 dollars per dance no more
I like my places to be jamming (Seating should be available most times, but not at peak capacity)
No bathroom attendents (these guys still creep me out)
Bouncers/Managers are better seen, but not instrusive (ie should protect the dancers from the damn cheap skates who pinch their asses)
Shot Girls --- Only if they are cute and something cheaper than 20 dollars for a shot and a mini lapper and whip cream sucking
DJs are fine, but are better if they are just announcing who the ladies are with bit of banter for the bachleor/birthday parties---- Telling me to clap is the firrst sign you need to go--- oh and a good mix of music (Oldies and Current--- Hip Hop and Pop and Rock)
Not a fan of the pool/darts/rec rooms seems like girls running off and one place I went had a pool table the girls were never around
Food---I can go either way, Doesn't impress me ever so, ehh...

Hey Kyle,
For once it looks like RL is sadly right when men truly are paying for the conversation of the women. Very interesting by the way, had no clue about it, but it makes sense.

Honestly as I stated in the perfect club post all music is good for me (less rap is fine, but some is ok) I agree the music level is important. I shouldn't hear the conversation at the table next to me (like I can anyway with how many people there). But low enough that I can have a conversation depending on the placement of speakers/ceilings the actual level change flucuate.
As for DJ versus Jukebox, I prefer the non-talking DJ. The first stripclub I ever went to had a jukebox. The girls wouldn't put money in or guys would put money and throw the girls off rotation there would be no music playing and someone would have to yell put some money in. I prefer the DJ, who tells us who is coming up and on stage, and gives some witty banter for b-day/bachleor party dances as well as drawing attention if there is something unusual going on on-stage (girl on girl show usually).
But in general I would rather not remember the DJ at the end of the night. Also really slow music doesn't go well either when the girls are on stage.

Why I agree that many times I have walked in and seen nothing that interests me, I wonder how much of it is because we have favorites already and are unwilling to change. Alsois it the older we get the more we want someone closer to our age??? If you are above 40, perhaps having the early 30ish dancer is more attractive than the younger 20 year old????
As for fewer is better, I think Abbie hits a good point. I recently went to a place midnight Sunday and a week later on Monday midnightish. The place was dead compared to even 5 o'clock on a week day. Only 1 of 3 stages going, which if they had more they probably wouldn't have made money on one of the stages. Only 9 girls working including 2 bar maids and a waitress. All the girls were dancing one an hour they made rounds dancing, each girl taking 10-20 dollars off the stage dance. Plus, they were giving private dances. Most of the ladies went home despite the slowness with 300-400 before the tipout. Now that's not a lot compared to the Fri/Sat, but the ladies did respectable.

Was actually at work this week, when I saw this older woman (early 40s). Fake Breasts, short skirt, could see the lower back tatoo, sounded immaturish in her words and phrases (could have been the accent). Honestly, thought the woman had to be a stripper at some point or currently, didn't have the nerve to ask though.
