I have been going to the same few clubs over the last several months and only felt that I should submit a review if there were significant variances ( + or -) in atmsophere, pricing, quality and quantity of dancers, etc. I will submit a few for the Chicago suburban area. It's been suh-LOW at most of the clubs.

Gotta agree with DandyDon about Kenny Mays in Hammond. This place has NO redeeming value whatsoever. Management=BAD, Dancers=WORSE and the decor and atmsophere suck. How it remains open with so few customers is still a mystery to me.
I have to say that the Can-Can in Vegas is a Rip-off establishment and VIP's wants to rip off out-of-town businessmen who are staying overnight in downtown Chicago.

As state in another Thread on this board, the Techno-Mix shit makes it difficult to distinguish when a song begins/ends. Add liquor to this mix and you get potential problems between dancers and customers re: song counts and dollars owed.
I like most music and prefer not to hear too much of any genre, be it Rap, R&B, Rock, Country, etc.
I have noticed that certain types of music MAY reduce the #'s of younger riff-raff; however, that IS the music the Dancers want the DJ to play. Go Figga.

I certainly agree with you and realized that this club did not and does not want tgo lose this customer. I also wanted to put this ROB on notice that she will be under additional scrutiny with her tactics.
I did need to see how club management would respond in this situation and whether they would "cave-in" to the ROB or consider the tenure ( and character ) of the customer. It did appear to be about the best result I could expect. Thanks for responding and hearing me out.

The # of songs played matters less than the tactics of dancer to ripoff the customer. Had I been intoxicated, unruly and/or unknown; it could have been more detrimental. I viewed this as "Dancer-specific," as opposed to a change in club tactics. And thank you for sharing your opinion.

Previuosly, on LA Law, I disclosed that I'm a Black BabyBoomer and midwestern-born and bred (insert racist remark here.) I always like the fact that JPac will bare his emotions on this site and usually will get an honest response. This time, no exception.
1) I like day shift/evening club visits, since I feel discomforted when the late hours bring in riff-raff of all flavors who may be intoxicated, under theinfluence and/or just flat ass drunk. That's a volatile mix in some clubs when the race-baiting and taunts turn to fighting over Bullshit. That said, let's help one another understand some unspoken dynamics.
2) In the midwest, ASIAN women are the new "Hotties" amongst the hip-hop set. The Ballers and Shot-callers have run their game on the Video Vixens and always available white girls who have run away from whatever they may have felt was boring and/or abusive in their own communities. The "Brothers of Bling" tend to look more exciting in the rap videos and on the B-Ball court and appear to have some $$$ to spend. With that comes Lopaw's observations of the perception of violence and STD transmittal warranted by ungoverned promiscuity. We all need to feel safe and secure. To some that means, riding in the drug dealer's Escalade or his Luxury Lexus Sedan.
3)The Black Boyfriend who picks up his White Dancer girlfriend may have an economic and child rearing relationship with said dancer.
(I have even been told that the BLACK boyfriend was the one preventing the white dancer from having any OTC and/or ITC from Black Customers!) The obvious reason being, they risk losing the dancer's income to another Bro with the good gift of gab, sweet talk and illusion of security. (it's the old PIMP GAME...)
4) I have found attitudes on interracial dating to vary as much as the geography in this grand old Republic. In LA and SFO, people could care less. South of the Mason-Dixon Line, the younger white girls befriend and "hook-up" with the Black Bruthas since there is no harm-no-foul while they are college-aged. Afterwards, you may see a significant shift in attitudes as they realize where they live and how they live may be a little more risk than she may wish to undertake.
5) Buy some dances, tell some jokes, have some fun and meet some real (civilian) women for OTC and possible relationships. Trust me, it will be more fun and less drama.

Try the Lake & Union Bar & Grill(at the corner of Lake Street & Union) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Thursdays are much better. There are a couple more in riskier neighborhoods.

Bernie Mac was a guy who grew up poor in Chicago and was a fixture in Black Comedy Clubs for years before getting his big break. He was forever humble and thankful to those who helped him on his climb. He lived about 10 minutes from me and we always enjoyed how he "kept it real,"
Strip Club or not -- "CLUBBER" =- You may recall him as the proprietor in "The Player's Club." If you wanna see how Black-owned Strip Clubs foster " mo'drama for ya mama ..." you should rent through Netflix or Blockbusters and feel as though "we have kept on topic." Some of us just lost a friend.

I have not gone. Read reviews on another Board and learned that they were alcohol-free and that the dances and management sucked. Across the street from the post office in an industrial area; I guess it will become a taxi-driver destination for out-of-town businessmen staying in downtown hotels.

Interesting that whenever the Mary Ann vs Ginger question arises, we begin to focus on the WKRP duo of Jan Smithers vs. Loni Anderson. I would take "Bailey Quarters" in a heartbeat.

I really like the new formatting. There are some guys who only visit their favorite clubs at their weekend evening peak; while there may be some reviewers who visit during the early evening hours as a departure from rush hour traffic or to delay their "honey-dos."
The number of dancers present and the hours visited is helpful to those who may not want to sit in a huge Gentlemen's Club on a weeknight with only 5 dancers and 12 customers present. However, if intimacy is whet you seek and you don't want to compete with the bachelor/birthday party groups on Saturday night; you can make up your mind after reading several reviews.

Dandy Dan and Parodyman, not-with-standing; the Silver Slipper Saloon is a GOOD Club for the area where it's located. (Just think about the TittyTwister in the movie, Dusk-to-Dawn.) Ottawa is near a big State Park right off the I-80 interstate and there is absolutely nothing to stop for other than fishing and RV camping.
The Dancers represent the rural, suburban and urban areas within a 45 mile radius. This is a couples-friendly, trucker and biker friendly saloon. Drinks are reasonably prices and the dancers will get NUDE on stage and put their Pussy this/close for a rail tip. It's a hoot when the female patrons pull up their tops to rub tits with the dancers and get catcalls from those surrounding the stage.
Extra's are NOT to be had and the private dance one-way, mini-lappers are quite tame. If you are in the area, stop by. Don't plan a trip around the SSS. It's about 2 hours from my house and I get there 5 to 6 times a year. Hope this helps.

This thread has been an enlightening example of the evolutionary education of vaulted voyeurism. Yes, I too, have noticed the decline of commuting women wearing high heels and showing off their legs, stocking tops, etc. I also realize that the large majority of these women possess BOTH, a pair of breasts and a pair of legs. I happen to notice that a pair of long legs or a nicely shaped ass in a skirt or tight jeans will make the barometer in my britches giddy-up to to go a lot quicker than a pair of humongous hooters, covered or put on full display.
I know that during the fall, I will start to look for the lasses walking to work or lunch in long or short skirts and their high heel boots; and my eyes follow their asses and legs to a point of distraction. Yet, a month or so before, you could see them wearing tank tops, shorts and flip-flops and you saw a lot of itty-bitty titties and some big ol' breasts you wished were covered more.
In summary, I guess I am a leg and ass man. If the tits are nicely shaped and natural, I am pleased and will gladly give them all of the attention they deserve. However, just because I am a strip club club regular and the club is topless; dancers think most guys in attendance are turned on by surgically implanted silicon. Not always the case. I like the look of elongated legs, perched atop a well-defined ass that those high heels accentuate so well.
They are just tits. I like how she stands, walks and crosses her legs when she sits.
