I rarely pay cover. There are several ways to avoid it. check the clubs web site they usually have free entries on the internet, or a way to get in for free. Another thing I've noticed is if you send a text they'll send an auto reply with a free entry. I've told the door person that I would buy 2 drinks if they waive the cover... this works often... they know if I'm willing to do that I will likely stick around a while and the club will get money out of me. Even in Chicago where the state of Illinois has introduced the "pole tax" I've gotten out of paying a cover... the clubs just increased the price of drinks... they'll get the money out of the customer in other ways... This is not to say I've never paid cover... but I don't do it very often at all...

in my hometown I probably don't go more then a couple of times a month, but when I travel on business or vacation I often do several nights in a row.... I think my most days in a row is 6 when I did a combo business/vacation in Vegas... 5 on a couple of occasions when vacationing in Miami...

I've been a life member for so long... I don't even remember how much the membership cost....

I think the common theme is no... but I will speak from the other side... I like to make certain I get to a club in the evening before the cover charge goes into effect... the night girls often come in a bit early because the tip out is less and the drink specials does mean a few more customers so for that aspect its nice... plus saving a few dollars means putting the money in somewhere else ie... the dancer...

I'm not sure this is my best time ever but it is one of my favorite that I always remember......it was probably 8 or 9 years ago..... the only time I ever did this. I decided that I was going to sit at the tip rail and just stick dollars in garters all night. I spent about 7-8 hours drinking captain and cokes, doing a few a shots and tipping 1 dollar bills. No private dances, no vip, just $1 tips all night long... took $800 bucks spent probably $150 on drinks and the remaining $650 was dollar tips.... I got alotta attention at first as girls kept coming over to me to see if I would take them back to the private area, but after about an hour or so word got around that I was just rail tipping and the girls basically left me alone except for the girls on the stage... the return on investment was probably not worth it..... but I probably had 100 different girls put their tits in my face.. the girls blurred together after a while, but glad I did it one time as I had some great views and had grabbed a bunch of titties that night.....

LOL... I live in Chicago area and I could barely read that rant... PS... I would disagree with his recommendation of All Star bar and grill, haven't had any success there at all. I'd recommend Polekatz, Atlantis or Club O over that place... Chicago clubs are pretty lame but know that going in and I just said it in around 50 words....

my all time favorite line was when a stripper walked up to me and slapped a $20 on the table... "I'll buy the dance... you give the tip"... yeah that worked.. and yeah she got a tip... my second favorite was I bet I can get you hard in 30 seconds or less... I said ok... she put her hand on me and started stroking.. yeah.. I lost that bet....

St. Louis isn't bad as others say avoid New Orleans... had no success in that city which totally surprised me given what I would expect for that city... If you are open for other options I'd add Miami to your list if you are really just wanting a strip club town. Also, while I've never experienced Detroit that is top notch. Lastly, I'm totally in the minority on this but I'd personally throw Vegas in as an option as I've always had really good experiences there, but many others think its over rated...

I was planning on going as I need a lost weekend. However, I got the opportunity to go to Vegas on business and stayed on a few extra days for a lost weekend... budget blown... but I did score 3 OTC, big winnings on basketball... big losses on craps table and a number of dances at 4 clubs... Maybe next time, as I think Miami is one of the best strip club cities in the country...

about a year ago, I got a text from a jealous boyfriend... telling me to back off...I figured I don't need this crap and stopped seein the girl... she actually quit shortly thereafter... I had been thinking of ending the ATF anyway, . that bein said I still think of that girl often and wonder what she's up too...

I'm very interested. I've been thinking about doing a Florida trip before it got too warm. I would recommend we look at a Thurs-Sunday type thing, for those that are out of towners and want to come in like me. I like the April suggestions and am thinking April 11-14 would be good, because it seems like the girls start leaving Florida around mid April. I could work with the other weekends in April as well. Let's pick a date and line it up before the end of this month so out of towners can travel.

None of them would do it on the first time meeting and most of them it took several visits before that happened. On a side note, sometimes reading these discussions, I am reminded that doing an activity may not be smart, I kinda wish I could stay blissfully ignorant and not think about the ramifications of an action!

While its very unlikely that you will ever have to go to court and testify via a civil suit, it could happen before payment is ever done. If you testify you'd have to further perjure yourself. My recommendation is say you're fine and you don't want to go any further and drop the matter before it gets out of hand.

There are a few clubs in the Chicago area that are ok, but you won't find that many great places. Industrial strip, Polekatz, Club O, and Atlantis are probably the best. Don't even bother with Admiral Theatre, Pink Monkey or Heavenly Bodies. Scores is hit and miss, but I find it more miss then hit. Bottom line, don't expect great outcomes, but there are a few diamonds in the rough.

if I'm in the club when I get handed the envelope I have a feeling at least 1grand would be left in the club and possibly 1500. I look at it like a bonus and I probably would have planned to spend some money before I walked in anyway.

I've frequented that club more then any other as it is fairly close to where I live. Although, I don't go there anymore because the club has all kinds of legal issues and haven't been there for about a year. I'm pretty sure I've seen that guy... yet one more reason blackjacks is on my do not bother list.

This seems impossible to me, I frequent clubs everywhere and I can't think of any place where I could have run a tab. Clubs take CC and charge ongoing, many of them now are requiring two signatures and sometimes even thumb prints. Unless he was contesting the CC charge and refusing to sign.

As long as you can afford it and you know the ultimate outcome I wouldn't worry about being a PL. I've spend a fair amount of cash when I go, but I plan that I'm going to spend that amount of $. On some occasions, I don't spend the amount I establish but on other occasions I've spent more, however over a course of 4 or 5 trips I break even with my expected spendings. I think the PL is defined when there is an expectation that you will get more on the next trip and the same outcome keeps occurring. If OTC is your goal, make it happen and don't keep doing the same thing expecting a different outcome. I'm not looking for OTC so I have different goals in mind when I am at the SC, that being said, some people may think I'm a PL because I spend $ and am not looking for OTC.

clubs are idiots regarding this law. This has been such an obvious misrepresentation of the definition of an Independent contractor, the clubs should have known they would lose. The fact that clubs receive a cut of dances, and also take $ on fees for fines, is a joke. They should have paid a small hourly wage and then charge the customer for the dance. The dancer would get anything over that as a tip, and they could claim that as income (or more likely unreport it). This also would be abenefit for the customer because you can bet the tips would be where extras would be done...
