@OSU- Us seasoned club hounds know that there's not much to clap about in VA stripclubs. (Truman based in Norfolk, VA). Some wet behind the ears 19 yo out of Podunkville for the first time might just clap at anything. Then again, the clubs in Med ports of call may be an entirely different animal

Recall several years ago that USS Enterprise CO Capt Owen Honors got relieved based on several videos "XO Movie Night" made while he was XO of ship several years prior.(~2006). Type that in regular and YT search engines.
The side story to this that surprised me were the plans to decommission USS Harry Truman that got overturned by President Trump. The Truman is one of the newer carriers (4th newest out of ~ 10-11 carriers) .

Everyone knows (or should know) that buying new cars is generally not a good "investment". (even if they are a lot of fun to drive.) Here's some depreciation numbers for 3 expensive sports cars I've owned:
$23K (10 years), $20K (3 years), $33K (8 years). Now on a percentage basis, these cars held value better than many other makes/models, but 5 figures is still 5 figures.

e-man: By putting MORNING in caps, I ASS-ume you're talking like 8 or 9 in the morning vs 11. If a once a year special is run, a certain crowd will flock there. Can it be sustainable the other 51 weekends of the year ?
To better answer that question, put up a poll asking how many people would patronize a strip club at 9 in the morning at least multiple times a year, if not regularly ? Speaking for myself , I have very little interest in going to a strip club at 9am. Even in clubs open at 11am, I've never gone in earlier than 1230p.

Mid-tier- Has best balance of reasonably attractive dancers, high mileage, clean without being too snooty. Just so were all on the same page, My examples of high end clubs would be Lodge or Mens Club Dallas (though some NYC clubs may epitomize high end), mid tier something like Brass Flamingo- Indy, or 2001 Odyssey- Tampa, dive something like Union Jack or Mary's- Portland.

To this old fart, almost any woman 25 and under could pass as a college student. I also agree with much of what mark 94 wrote about the appeal of 30ish dancers. Still attractive, but has a lot more worldly knowledge than 18-22yo. A 30ish woman is more finely attuned to what it takes to please a man, and hold his interest. Therefore, issue raised by OP is a non-issue to me.

One factor helping JAX area clubs is a bunch of horny sailors coming from Mayport and 2 naval air stations. Jacksonville has a large enough population that a significant military downsizing wouldn't close the clubs like some small town army or remote air bases would. I suspect that there would be a noticeable drop off in business.
25, exactly what kind of business model would attract the young millennial crowd ? More computer play stations ? Wtf, either one likes interacting with scantily clad/naked females, or they don't.

@Kaj- That's a RUTH CHRIS ribeye you're thinking about. You must have drank too much wine when you posted. E-man, that's a lame rationalization for listing a dancers name. She allegedly delivered the goods as promised, just charged a high price. Thus it's on the dude for accepting the price and paying up. You also need to read the reviews more carefully. The fact that it's shockingly expensive leads me to believe that this is a story concocted to hurt the subject dancer.
I'm in the don't link dancer name to specific acts, keep it at trusted PM level camp.

Hey folks, this is tuscl, not TER. "Reviewer" just joined site with subject review as their first and only contribution. He/she could easily have been a jealous dancer or a disgruntled club employee whose advances subject dancer rejected.

@reverend- Which places in the 80's charged $20 for lapdances ? While it was true that very few clubs offered that back then, there were a fair number of nude clubs that offered $10 air dances. When lap dances took hold in the 90's, $10 topless was the norm in a lot of places, with only the higher end places charging $20 for topless dance. Nude contact dances were $20 in some places. It's no news flash that many mongers are getting more bang for their bucks now vs 20 plus years ago.
Still, as OP points out it's hard to justify $40 plus on dances with so many other places charging $20 for same thing. Inflation calculator from 90's would seem to rationalize $20 topless norm, with $40 being the high end. Columbia SC doesn't strike me as high end. Good luck, OP, in dealing with situation. Deja Vu has a penchant for setting up shop in locales with little or no meaningful competition. No doubt they adjust their business model accordingly.

I'm with many prior posters that linking dancer names to "specific acts" is uncool. I agree with some posters that ROB's should be outed. One caveat in naming names (ROB's, dancers who were notable in good ways or bad ways) should be to include a physical description, as dancers have been known to change names. If review older than 3 months, real possibility that subject "Sugar" is gone, and a new "Sugar" took her place. There are also a few clubs (Mons Venus is one) where more than 1 dancer is allowed to use same stage name.

Rick, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it. After reading several of OP's reviews, he doesn't seem like someone who will drink the water. Would you like your Kleenex delivered via Fed Ex, or Amazon Prime ?
