^ In some cases, you're not wrong. I've had a lot of luck approaching hard-to-access dancers about dances/VIP while they're on stage. Sometimes they're sitting with a guy just to kill time and not because they're getting paid.

By default, I'm very cautious about who gets to digitally capture the personally identifiable from my ID. Given that strip clubs aren't known to employ the most competent or ethical people, I'd never let this happen. So far, it hasn't hampered me.

It used to be that there were far fewer options for guys who wanted to purchase their sexy fun time, and for the women who wanted to sell to them. In those less competitive times, club management could be lazier, resistant to change, and survive bad decisions with greater ease. Meaning, the sex market was less volatile and competitive, but more tolerant of fools. Now there's different markets and platforms competing for PL dollars, and the average strip club owner/ manager has less room to be complacent about getting warm bodies inside the club (dancers and customers). To some degree, this also applies to dancers, who perhaps can no longer survive on just showing up and looking good. So, sure, the economy could be a factor. It probably is a factor. But I think a greater factor is that the industry (and many within it) are allergic to doing new things in the face of changing market forces.

I more or less agree with Rick. I've had a lot fun with Russian dancers, but they come from a place and culture that is unkind to soft women. So, they often have a sharper edge and can be a bit more ruthless. If you understand that and show them up front that you're not a pushover, then they're often straight shooters. I've had only one really bad experience with a Russian dancer.

I'm in favor of being able to mute the Political forum. I have many strong political beliefs, but I don't come here for that for several reasons.

Almost everyone wants to give the impression that they're overly generous (regardless of the reality). It's not often that you'll see someone say that they had a great meal and great service, and then brag about tipping 3%. And, for what it's worth, I do tip generously for great service and a great experience. That's because I want more of them.

I have sometimes been this guy with some dancers. It's really weird when a guy will just glare and pout rather than move on to another dancer (or another club).

If it's fun for you and the expense doesn't cause you to miss a car payment, then it's worth it. The best positions are the ones you enjoy that also work in whatever size the room happens to be.

^ When was that? I haven't been there in a while. Foxy got into a deep legal mess quite some time ago when a dancer was sexually assaulted in VIP and called the cops the next day. Foxy was shut down for at least a couple of weeks as a result. So, management there is not friendly when it comes to ITC fun. They never really were, but that legal mess didn't help. As I said, I mostly look for OTC at Foxy because of this.

Well, Desire is very high mileage for many dancers (but not all}. So, it would be in the top 3. No idea why it didn't work out for you. I usually talk to the dancer about what I want before VIP, and that works for me. Anyway, you can also try Club Fantasies if you're after extras. The lineup there can be a bit lackluster, though. You might also try Cadillac Lounge. Foxy Lady has hot dancers, but ITC extras are rare there. I've had better luck with OTC.

When it stops being fun. That has nothing to do with age, but remains the best reason to stop.

Though I don't consider it to be an extra by default, if a dancer says "You need to pay extra for that.", then it's an extra.

I initially stopped bringing my wallet into the club a long time ago when I was younger and had less money *and* less control. I've just kept doing that out of habit. Generally speaking, I prefer to be all cash in the club, so I see no reason to change that benefits me.

That's a weirdly specific hypothetical... Anyway, if you walk into a strip club without a clear-eyed knowledge of the complete lack of exclusivity, then don't go to strip clubs. Look for a mistress or sugar baby who will provide greater exclusivity (or at least the illusion of it).
