I used to play in a few golf leagues and I enjoy the game. I played golf a lot more than I went clubbing. Some friends invited me occasionally to sub in their league and later I found out there were three clubs within two miles of the course! Didn’t even know the clubs were there, until I got seriously into clubbing and of course, reading about them in TUSCL. Next summer, I’m going to double up and do both.

Way back in the day, when Windsor (Ontario) was the hotbed of Detroit-area strip clubs, my old high school buddies and I walked into a club and saw a gal we knew from high school dancing. We were like 19-20 or so, as was she, and she had some major baby damage. My buddy screams “Holy Shit! It’s [her name]!” She was quite embarrassed by the situation. I felt bad for her, and in retrospect, would like to apologize to her someday for that night if I ever see her again.

Sal nailed it. If you are open minded and value oriented, his clubs are winners. Personally, I don’t like Henry’s — prefer Bogarts for low-end action. Some may go the other way. Like Criket for mid-tier. Have fun in the Motor City!

I have the lowest expectations for dancers and SC workers, for good reason as documented in stories above. During a lunch break stop at a low-end club, I lost my security card in the private dance area. Didn’t realize I lost it until I got back to work. Called the club and the biker-like bouncer found it and gave it back. I really did not want to go through the security office to report a lost card and go through that BS. My faith in SC humanity was restored, but I am still very cautious.

A very valuable resource. I’ve spent years and years in strip clubs (but not frequently) without getting extras because I thought they weren’t available. And this is in Detroit! I then got some low-end extras at some down-and-dirty clubs and thought that was a huge deal, and quite risqué. Don’t know how I stumbled upon TUSCL, but I did and now I know the whole story about the Detroit clubs. I’m probably fortunate that I didn’t know earlier!

I was at Club Venus in Detroit (one of the more nastier clubs) when two strippers got in a physical altercation. The tension in the club escalated quickly. I got my extras in the back and got the fuck outta there.

I'm a Detroiter -- Shailynn's overview is OK, but a little dated. A few years is a big difference in the SC world. I'm assuming that if you are traveling to Detroit for the SC experience, you want to partake in heavy extra activities. Your schedule will be determined by your financial and physical thresholds. Getting around Detroit is a pain in the ass without a car, so you will need to rent one. I don't see a need to specifically come on a Friday and Saturday unless your schedule dictates that. There is a lot of good daytime activity at the Detroit clubs on weekdays, so that could help you break up your days. I would suggest some high-end places (see the reviews) and maybe some mediums like Criket. I wouldn't do Bogie's or Henry's unless you are looking for some grit and have monetary restrictions.

I've seen full nudity (while drinking alcohol) at Bogarts in Detroit, but it seemed to be on a random basis if the gal felt like getting naked.

Papi has it right. Scout out the clubs in your travel plans for what could be offered from the ladies and the potential price. Don't be shy -- tell her what you want and get her to quote the cost. Reply with half that amount. Take with you what you want to spend. Don't use the ATM if you can avoid it. Commit on services provided and the cost before you go to VIP to avoid any hard feelings later. Best of luck.

Crownand7.... you are right. I was talking with a dancer yesterday who was a waitress for a long time. Customers kept asking to see her titties, and would occasionally pop them out for a tip. After a while, and finding out what the dancers make, she made the switch-over.

SC are like real estate: location, location, location. Know the clubs in your area and what they'll tolerate. If you are in the Detroit area, you can do almost anything with the ladies as long as you have bread. Other places -- even in Michigan -- you can't do shit. Can't go wrong by following Papi.
