Hard to say. Sometimes I spend time thinking about, or helping out, a dancer friend who is in a bind, has nothing to do with sex or strip clubbing, so does that count? Also, "rush hour" traffic lasts for 3 hours in my city, so heading to a club for a bite to eat while waiting for traffic to die down isn't unusual. Does that count? Oftentimes reading posts on TUSCL, or writing posts, is just a way to unwind after work. Does that count? Last year, Nov 8th, I headed to XTC simply to blow off stress. I did my best to concentrate on the dancers, but really my eyes were glued to the TVs. Once it became clear who the winner was going to be, the dancer who was sitting with me suggested we celebrate by taking my hand and placing it between her legs. Who was I to argue? I followed her as she led the way to the VIP room, so I guess that one did count. ;)

Who said anything about Landing Strip? If I lived in SA I'd drive to the Palazio for topless and to XTC for nude. Have met several SA girls at the Palazio, though it's not my favorite club anymore.

You guys are really making me smh. What type of club are you in? Generally you'll get better mileage in nude clubs, but that doesn't mean you can just grab any girl anywhere. Some girls won't allow any kitty play at all. Others might after some alcohol, or if it's late in the month and they can't pay their rent. Has the girl danced for you before? For that matter, are you a regular in the club or an unknown quantity? How much money have you given her? Often girls will have this "admission price" in their heads, and until you reach that price they're not going to let you get very far at all. Are they expecting to see you again? If you have a reputation for tipping well, if the girl wants to make you a regular, if you are chummy with the management, if you have a good reputation with other dancers, if you are polite and discreet and well-groomed - all these things are taken into consideration. Of course the obvious ones like whether the club is low, middle or high class, and whether you are on the main floor or in VIP, and if VIP what type of VIP. And of course who is working that night, as in, what managers and bouncers are there. Is the club owner there? So it's not as simple as 1-way contact vs 2-way contact. There's a lot of other things that also factor into it.

San Antonio is not a good city for men's clubs. If you insist on SA, then I would recommend the Palace Men's Club.

@Book Guy - regardless of what they look like, most dancers are so fucked up no normal guy will put up with them. that is why they date losers.

I've also played the role of teacher for a few dancers. Girls who were really new, and didn't really understand what they had gotten themselves into. So I kind of explained things to them from the guys point-of-view, which they didn't understand, and told them about the club they were working at, and also gave them info about other clubs in the area where I thought they might do better, etc.

A few months ago, for a guy from India. He is going to school here and has an IT job and was visiting a strip club (nude) for the first time. I explained things as best I could and encouraged a few dancers to get friendly with him.

Papi mentioned the other thing that was on my mind. If you routinely see a manager giving special attention to one dancer, and one dancer only, be very cautious about taking her to VIP. In fact, I would say just don't do it, and if she asks why, tell her. If a douchebag manager is hurting a girl's income it's up to her to either put a stop to it or find another place to work.

Lots of different ways. I think the best is a recommendation from a manager who knows me and what I like. I've never gotten a bad recommendation from a manager. Sometimes from a dancer. If a dancer knows me and what I want she might also steer me towards a certain girl. If I'm in a new club or just don't know anyone then I will usually watch the girls on stage. Things that are usually automatic physical disqualifiers are: tats, piercings, breast implants, being overweight. Psychological disqualifiers are girls who don't give a shit about their dances and aren't even trying to make an effort, girls who have an attitude of entitlement, girls who seem uptight as opposed to shy. A shy girl might be new, but an uptight girl will usually not change. I look for girls who are comfortable with me, who seem to enjoy dancing for me. Sometimes I can tell just from a stage tip that they're gonna be fun. Sometimes it takes a test dance. I avoid girls who are overly aggressive. If they're more interested in a VIP session than I am that's usually a warning sign. Sometimes I make a mistake, but the pursuit is half the fun.

it could be a checklist, like group VIP or private VIP or private VIP club within a club. if you pick group VIP is it a large room with chairs and couches along the walls, or does it have open air cubicles? if you pick private VIP does it have rooms or cabanas or cubicles? but I also want to know how many stages and how many dances per stage b/c that is often when I decide who I want to dance for me

granted the girls are the most important part of any review, but the club layout is pretty damn important too. I want to know how many stages there are and where, and how many dances the girls do on stage. i especially want details on the VIP, like is it group VIP or private VIP. Do they have a separate VIP area, that is basically a club within a club? Do they have VIP rooms with doors, or cabanas with curtains, or open air cubicles?

@rockstar - hopefully you and your lady friend can meet up elsewhere. i've had very good luck with that

at first I didn't think mdfmk888 could possibly be correct (drawing upon my own experience), but it seems you've only ever reviewed 2 clubs, your last 20+ reviews were all of the same club, and you even got called out by desertscrub b/c your reviews don't match those of others... i hate to say it, but i think mdfmk888 might be on to something, it's possible the club management felt you were attracting the wrong type of attention myself, i've reviewed 10 clubs (after this weekend it'll be 11 clubs), i visit 4 clubs on a regular basis, and my general rule of thumb is if you mention a girl you don't mention mileage, and if you mention mileage you don't mention the girl (and possibly not the club either).

What is a CR trip? And can't the two of you just meet up at another club?

It depends on the girl. Case in point, one of my favorite dancers is a girl who doesn't dance anymore but she makes an exception for me. So when I want to see her I call her and we make a date at a club. This is the second time I've gotten into this situation and it works out really well. Well, actually I guess this is the third time b/c I just made an OTC date with another girl who also doesn't dance anymore.

I couldn't even finish the first episode. All the politically correct brainwashing just in the first 5 min was too much to deal with.

@K - What I want to know is does it stop dancers from fighting over customers? I've never had a problem with a dancer spending time with a whale. That's what cell phones are for. My problem is having two or more dancers trying to lay claim to me. That shit drives me up the wall. All those whining sackless wonders complaining about customers locking down dancers don't have a clue. The real problem is dancers trying to lock down customers because they don't want them spending money elsewhere. I understand the system exists at the Go Go Rama. Whether it's successful or not is something I can't comment on as I've never been there and have no intention of ever visiting. Sounds like something I would thoroughly hate.

Strip clubs are the perfect place to go outside your normal comfort zone. If you're not gonna experiment in a strip club, where are you gonna experiment? I have certain types I like yeah, but I also try to be open minded and have had a number of really good adventures as a result.
