Either 2 to 3 beers or 1 mixed drink....then a water for my last drink before I leave.
I feel like I'm okay to drive after that.
Never been one to get drunk....that's not necessary to have a good time, especially at a strip club!

When I text my CF and we plan to meet at the club, then she is busy with another customer when I arrive.
I can be a little patient, but sometimes she takes forever to come over to see me.

Its hard to budget for this hobby, at least for me. But I do have a set maximum limit for each trip.
If I plan to see my CF, I usually spend the same amount on her each visit.
If I go in on her day off, I could spend next to nothing if no one is working that I am interested in.
On the other side of that, I have at times found just the right girl and end up spending more than planned.

I am in a similar situation as the OP.
ITC my new CF provides a very convincing GFE, but I am sure she does not have any feelings for me.
I was visiting her every week, but now have not seen her for over 3 weeks. I do plan to see her again, just needed time away to come to my senses.
I have been to the club a couple of times during that period, on days I knew she was not working.
Spending a little time with a variety of strippers prevents developing those feelings of closeness.

I've had that happen with a dancer that had kids. She claimed it was an emergency, her kid was sick and she had to leave. She told me she would make it up to me on my next visit, and she kept her promise.
Generally, though, I would consider it unacceptable if just common text/chat, and she would not get any more $$ from me.

My club of choice is usually a pretty slow hustle. Almost all the girls will sit and chat first.
However, on my last two trips (both times my CF was not working), I was approached seconds after I got in the door and had just sat down at the bar. Did not even get my beer ordered when she came up behind me and asked if I wanted company. Hell, my eyes had not even adjusted to the darkness of the club yet!
I accepted her offer and we chatted for a while. She was somewhat attractive, blond, 30ish. Turned out she was not really my type, too damn chatty, and an expert on everything! Had a couple of dances with her, which were actually pretty good, then I moved on.
So, the next week same thing happened....After the previous experience I had made up my mind to turn away the first dancer.
This quick to approach dancer was actually a very pretty, mid 20's blond.
But, she had approached me from behind and asked if I wanted company just as I sat down.
I was so set on sticking to my new rule, I turned her offer down. (I now regret this choice)
I still had a good time with another dancer, she just was not as pretty as the first girl.
So, for me at least, the rule to "always turn down the first offer" is not always the best decision!
Just got to learn when to break the rule.

Dancers have always thanked me at the stage, unless there were a lot of other PL's tipping at same time.
Very rarely do they come over to my table and thank me after their stage set.
It doesn't bother me, that's just the way it is in clubs.

Waiting on dancers in a strip club is nothing new.
Sometimes it bothers me, sometimes not - depends on the situation.
After my CF's stage set she goes straight to the dressing room to freshen up and then has to walk past the bar to where I usually sit. She almost always stops and chats with someone for a minute or 2.
However, she is worth wait.

Several years ago, my first CF ever once asked me for $600 to help her pay her rent.
Never gave her a dime, and never went back to see her after that.
Since then, I did give one of my recent favorites $200 to help her out.
Sometimes, you just can't help but fall for the SS.

Over the last 3 years, I have had 4 favorites. 2 of the girls have since quit and 1 only works a few days each month.
Their ages at the time were 28, 30, 36, and 37.
The younger dancers are definitely beautiful, but it is so difficult to carry on a conversation with them.

Never had a dancer say it. However, my favorite bartender told me she loves me once.
She stayed late for a birthday party for one of the dancers.
She had just finished her shift and sat with me at the bar.
It really caught me off guard, i simply said, "love ya too babe".
We had a few drinks and a few laughs. Then she paid for a lap dance for me from one of the girls.

I recently found a new daytime CF after the last CF quit.
On my second visit with her, I told her that sometimes I might spend time with other dancers, and that I was okay with her spending time with other customers. That's just life in the strip club.
Even when I text a CF that I'm on the way, sometimes they are occupied when I arrive. No worries, I find another girl to spend time with while I wait. I tell her I came in to see my CF, but since she is busy, let's have a little fun while I wait! When the CF comes over, I tell the fill-in girl "I hope to see you again soon". Never had any drama when being honest and upfront about my plans.

I have 2 CF's...one for daytime shift and another for night time shift.
The night shift dancer I have known for 6 months. She used to text once a week, just to ask how my week was going. But now her boyfriend wants her to quit and she rarely works. She only texts to set up a meet with me at the club, abut once a month( when she needs money ).
CF #2 is new(to me) but a very popular girl. I text her once a week just to say hi, and she is almost always slow to respond. Except on days that I also ask if she is working, then she responds in a few minutes! Pretty typical of most dancers.

I have had very few encounters with smelly dancers, talking about body odor.
More common issue seems to be bad breath.

I enjoy the advantage of having a CF...when we plan to meet at the club, I know i'm going to have a good time.
However, I also like a little variety, so I sometimes go on a night that she does not work.
Those nights have been hit and miss on having a good time.
If I were to see the same dancer week after week, yes, I would get tired of her.
It is best to take a break from the CF sometimes.

When I go to the club in the evening, I usually get there around 7:30 to 8:00, which is shift change.
Bad time to arrive. Usually only a few dancers working.
The first time I did this, I left after 1 drink.
The next time I stayed and around 9:00 several hotties showed up. Met a very hot blonde last week....worth the wait.
Timing is everything!
