    When OTC goes to LOL
I know opinions vary on this, but ... if you're going to freeze up just because she quotes a high rate, then stop asking the girls their rates. Make your offer first.

Different price points for girls at the same club
As an ATFer, I tend to only OTC one girl at at time from a particular club -- whoever my CF or ATF is at the time -- so haven't run into this. I think Paul's solution is brilliant, unless of course it's obviously not true ("yeah, we talked, you spend the same amount of time with each of us"). Are you going to fire the "know your value" girl? I'd have a pretty bad taste in my mouth, I think

I don't think it's easy to get away at a decent hotel, with not giving your ID, etc. That said, if you say exactly what the worry is, then maybe there's a way around it? If you don't want to take out your ID with your real name, etc., in front of the stripper? Send her to the lobby when you check in. If you don't want the hotel to have your real name ... what's the worry? You think they'll show up at your house? I'm not purposely trying to be a dick, but struggling with what the risk is. I do understand if you don't want to use your CREDIT CARD -- maybe you have a wife and you don't want this showing up on your bill. But then, you can secure the room with your real credit card, but pay with a vanilla card or other untraceable credit card.

To what extent does being in shape help with sex workers / SCs?
I was terribly out of shape in my late 30s, but by mid-40s in fantastic shape. My personal experience is, keeping the $ about equal, being less repulsive to the stripper can result in significantly more contact. I'm in worse shape now and the level of contact and perceived enthusiasm is predictably down. Not a huge surprise -- they're people, the less repulsive you are the more they'll touch and the less it stretches their acting skills.

Do whales really help the club's earnings or do they break it?
I don't know what the right % is, but I think the club makes much, much more from a whale. I imagine %-wise, they make the same or probably better, and it's also a slice of a much bigger pie

Do whales really help the club's earnings or do they break it?
Estaf, everything you said applies almost as much to regulars also, doesn't it? I am not a whale, but regularly lock up my CFs for 4 hours at a time. In fact, I may be worse for the club than the whales -- I buy individual $7 drinks and a couple of $120 VIP dances, not $500 bottle service and a couple of $450 curtain rooms, over roughly the same period as a whale would have her locked up. Which also perhaps answers your question: my impression is, most whales spend decently big across the board, and an individual whale IMO probably outspends any random 5-8 customers, at least on dayshift. That's why the clubs rightfully treat them like VIPs. Other factors: - While I suppose it might happen, I have never seen or heard of a whale tying up a stripper every shift, all shift. Which means that if he ties her up for 4 hours, that still leaves 4 hours for you. And the fact that he spends so much keeps hotter strippers in the club. One of the hottest ATFs I've ever had, and in fact one of the hottest I've ever seen in a strip club, once told me, "don't come after 4, I have a whale who comes in every shift from 4-7 and spends $1000+ on me". This insanely hot chick was working DAY SHIFT. That's the only reason I got to meet her, and her working dayshift was only made possible by this whale. Whales are fine with me, as long as I can make an appointment with a girl so I'm there a different time. - Whales can lift up the whole club. There was a dayshift whale who would regularly spend $1000-$1500, bottle service, on this one stripper. He'd also spread $200 here, $300 there, to other girls. One day he crossed the line with his main girl, she got him 86ed and banned. The other girls were beyond furious... on slow days, his trickledown money was their safety net. The club got a piece of much of it, plus the bottle service. AGain, from my perspective, his presence in the club was something that actually made my experience better (since luckily, his girl was not my girl)

Techniques, Tricks and Methods to extend lapdance time
In most clubs here, the girls have VERY little latitude. There's a dance counter who counts songs; if she gives me more than an extra minute, she gets charged. The one bit of wiggle room is, as TFP described: ask her to go to the room 30s after a song starts. The good girls will sit on your lap and allow some groping the rest of the song, and then start on the next song... they can do this without getting charged an extra song. The hustlers will start dancing as soon as you get to the room, and then try to judge "well, I started 60s into the first song, so I'll end 60s into the next", which is your sign to fire them after a single dance

Something strippers don't seem to understand - Hiring Standards
I have actually been to a strip club where the inmates ran the asylum ... er, I mean, the girls took over ownership and management of the club. One of the first things they imposed was a "all women are beautiful and have a place here" ethic. The result was a pretty horrible lineup on any particular day; I only went to that club once, but it was scary. Continuing to display the smarts and business competence that made them qualified to run a strip club, they also imposed "no lap dances" and "we all share tips evenly" rules, which combined drastically limited the earnings potential of the few attractive girls, who evidently never stayed long. The Lusty Lady itself is gone, too. Anyway, just as I realize that when PLs give strippers advice, it's often incredibly self-serving and actually against her interest (even if the PL means well and doesn't realize it), that goes triple for strippers giving advice to management on who to hire.

    Venmo? Cash App? Something else?
prevert: That's all stuff you can control. My venmo user name is just some initials, you can make all your transactions private, and you're insane if you give any app access to Facebook, or vice versa. That said, I still only use venmo for trusted contacts -- friends, family, SBs and ATFs. I do think CashApp is the right way to go for sending $ to someone who doesn't have quite as much trust, you can create a handle that, if I recall correctly, is pretty unconnected to anything else. Transactions CAN be reversed on these things, regardless of what anyone tells you, even if it's relatively difficult to do. So don't use it as a way to accept money from anyone you don't trust. But as far as sending money? Sure

    Venmo? Cash App? Something else?
All my friends have Venmo, so that's the default among us. It's also what ends up my default for SBs and my ATFs for OTC, unless she specifically requests CashApp instead. In all of these cases, though, I don't care much about anonymity; the fact that Venmo is so ubiquitous makes it the best choice. If I cared about anonymity, I'd go with CashApp

    Political posts.
-->"I’m guilty of posting in those threads. I don’t come here to discuss politics and I won’t start a thread. I can ignore most of them. Most of my responses are usually to posts where someone says something that’s factually inaccurate. I have a tough time letting those stand. That said, why don’t you just ignore them? I miss the old two way ignore but still have a few trolls on ignore. I haven’t used it, but can’t you also use the ignore button to ignore threads? Seems that’s an easy solution." As I said in the other thread about politics threads, I ignore all politics threads. I don't even bother hitting the ignore button, I just bleep over them. Doesn't bother or impact me at all. But on tuscl, like on every other internet forum I've ever been on, grievances from political threads come through everywhere else. You don't notice the political thread guys making little bitch comments to each other in practically every other thread they find each other, and sometimes that breaking out into pitched battles? The political guys crap on everything; it's not enough to shit in their threads. The presence of political threads makes every thread and the overall forum just a bit worse. That's why so many forums with active administrators who care about content, have a policy of either "no political or religious threads", or "any political discussion that leaks out is a banning offense". Founder isn't going to do anything, in any case.

It isn't just the political threads. I have no problem ignoring them. I don't even hit the ignore button, I just bleep past them as if they weren't there. But, in every internet forum I've ever been on, including (and especially) tuscl, what happens in political threads washes into every other thread, and degrades the quality of the forum as a whole. Just witness how many times you political-thread guys come in and make little bitchy comments and insults to each other, specifically referencing exchanges that have gone on in the political threads. That's why so many forums have a separate political forum, with a rule of "no political discussions or issues leak into the main forums, or you get banned". I don't expect founder to do this, he seems to value unrestricted posting regardless of the effect on the forum, but it's absolutely the case that the political threads make the whole forum worse.

    what makes a good customer.
poledancer: question back to you: what is the benefit of being a good customer, vs not? e.g., one guy brings you lunch, and has an interesting story, and $200 to spend on you. I don't bring you lunch, tell you that you look like my daughter, and drone on about the boring minutiae of my life, and I also have $200 to spend on you. Does Mr Fun-Interesting's $200 buy him any more than my $200 does? Just good feelings from you? More eye contact? A free LDK? A more sensual dance in general?

Just thinking this way is acting like a sucker who deserves to be ripped off. There is no "good way" to make sure she delivers when you see her again. There is abundant evidence, through a zillion stories, that you'll get ripped off. If you want to stop acting like a sucker, here are your options: 1. Don't give her the money. You owe her nothing, and at least an 80% chance there is no rent emergency and you're funding her drug-fueled vacation to cabo with her boyfriend. Every other month-ish sets up no obligation on your part anyway. Offer to see her again ASAP if she wants to earn it. 2. Gift her the money. She's been awesome to you, and you don't mind giving this to her as a bonus, even though you know that once you give her this money, you will "pass" her sucker test and she'll keep coming back for more. Still, if you gift it to her, at least this doesn't set up retarded expectations about her paying it back; expectations that are bound to be unmet. Those are the smart options, IMO. You're just looking to end up angry and disappointed of you give a every-other-month girl an "advance"

Well, the FIRST THING is always looks -- basically, face and ass. All my ATFs light me up physically. Of course, that's just the first thing. To become my ATF, she'll be incredibly charming and flirty and interesting at the table, which is probably the second thing. She'll be fantastic in the back, third thing. She make and keep appointments with me, fourth thing. She'll steadily increase my YMMV, fifth thing. She'll go OTC with me, sixth thing All the way to sixth thing! I am a mother fucking overachiever. Sunk cost fallacy, not to mention sunk time and sunk emotions, can be a hell of a thing to get over. After you finally disentangle yourself from this, the best strategy going forward is: recognize it and don't CF any girls who behave this way, no matter how high the highs are. You're not going to change her, just move on to a better stripper

    Borderline personality disorder
I have no idea what she did or didn't have clinically, but when I shifted from variety guy to CFer, one of my first ATFs fit your description exactly. Super high highs -- I mean, like on the best mental and emotional and sexual high ever. And low lows. Flakey as fuck but amazing when she showed. Sexual monster one day, warm and affectionate the next, aloof and uncaring the next. 100% roller coaster ride The main thing I learned from the experience is that I will never seek an ATF relationship with a woman like this again. I don't go SCing for low lows, frustration, irritation, anger, etc. The high highs aren't worth it. Get an ATF who brings you moderately high most of the time, that's way better than a roller coaster ride. She -- this stripper who may or may not be bipolar -- is not going to change. It's not about whether you handle her right, or you positively reinforce the good behavior while making sure there's consequences for bad behavior. With mine, at least, she seemed scarcely able to control her behavior. Hell, over the time I knew her, she lost a couple of BFFs, due to the way she treated them (flakey to the point of feeling disrespectful. Which again puts in context how flakey many of these strippers are -- it's not just towards us, in many cases they're flakey to everyone)

Is cocaine purposefully used to prevent extras?
-->"My experience with Coke is that it makes girls horny and guys limp," Exactly. Pretty naive to think the girls haven't noticed that also, especially since they've been around a whole lot more cocaine and men than any of us have. Whether the girls pro-actively push it as a strategy, I have no idea. I've never had one do it, but I'm also not a "$1000 VIP on Saturday night" guy, who seem to be the main target here. What I can say definitively is that I've heard from more than one stripper that they like when customers pull out cocaine, specifically for the impact it has on his ability to perform extras (extras that he may have already paid for, etc)
