Well, the reason that dancers wear platform shoes is that they're easier to dance in for long periods of time because the arch isn't so severe ... plus, they stick your butt out, suck your tummy in and lengthen the legs.

^ Yeah, that's a big part of it. Your target demographic is most likely under the age of 30 (and in some cases under the age of 25) and they just care if you have a six-pack and a cute face.

Those examples are worlds apart and no, it's not a joke. Girls that offer extras in clubs are knowingly undercutting the clean dancers, so they can deal with the consequences. Just like in the real world. Am I going to beat them up? Hell no. Do I care if it happens? Naw.

@shadowcat - IME the people looking for extras are only buying if the extras are available. It's a fact that money goes down for the average girl if there's a similar girl working that goes that extra mile. So, while I don't personally condone beating people up for their lifestyle choices, I am not opposed to reaping the benefits ... because I am lazy and I will not be running any extra miles.

As an interesting aside, some non-extras clubs are sort of self-regulating environments in a fucked up way. Girl E comes in offering extras, word gets around to Girls A, B, C, and D and they scare/beat the brakes off of Girl E and make her leave the club.
And that's how come extras are harder to come by in some clubs.
LE is scary, strippers are scarier.

There's an afterhours spot around here that a lot of dancers go to after work since they serve til 6 AM. I've gone a couple of times after work with friends and while there are people prowling around looking for after-hours fun they usually seemed SOL.

The general reception to this post probably won't be positive, since a majority of the members here would be SOL when it comes to getting laid by hot 20 year olds if all strippers were well-adjusted and didn't have a drug problem or something else making them open to the idea of getting paid for sex.
I agree with you, though. It's depressing.

Less hot girls want to dance for less than x amount of money a night, so less attractive girls get hired to fill out the clubs roster. Those girls are willing to do more for money, so that pushes out the remainder of the REALLY REALLY hot girls with high standards for acceptable behavior.

I danced at a club with an HIV+ dancer that regularly did OTC and didn't disclose her status to her clients. She laughed about it in the dressing room, shit was pretty fucked up.
