Estafador, I'm in your neck of the woods and can relate to your experience. Relatively new to this game myself. But, I agree with Rick and JayJay. Not a color thing, it's a strategy thing. I've found that some of the dancers in the NYC area use the "wanna dance" approach because their English language skills are poor.
Try this, which is working for me:
1. To JayJay's point, arm yourself with $200 minimum, preferably $300-$400, for a club outing.
2. To Rick's point, roll into Gallaghers 2000 sometime between 11:30am and 3:30pm, when they offer a free lunch and discount price drinks.
3. Sit at the bar and be prepared for a $20 per hour topless dollar parade. If you see someone you like, ask her to stop by.
4. Order a drink and free lunch.
5. When someone approaches of interest, offer to buy her a drink and ask her to join you for lunch. If you go to the club after 3:30pm, just order a drink and offer a dancer of interest a drink and chat her up. Just say no when you get the "wanna dance" approach. Many of the ladies here enjoy taking the time to chat with patrons. I spent four hours at G2000 on first visit and had a blast with four dancers, each session preceded by lengthy chat and frolicking at the bar. BTW, this is a relatively high mileage club.
6. Go upstairs to LD area with the first dancer, but limit the session to 2-3 songs. Then head back to the bar for the next dancer.
7. Repeat steps 5 & 6, until you run out of cash. You will find that the dancers here watch who is spending money, because they can see who is walking up and down the stairs to the LD area. Do this a few times and there will be a line of dancers waiting to chat with you and dance for you.

During a recent club visit, a so-called "lower dancer" caught me just as I was about to leave. Told her I was out of money. I had even turned down someone before her with same excuse. Then the lower dancer applied the "hard sell" right at the bar and I found some extra cash. Turned out to be the best dance of the evening. Will be looking for her first next time.

Simply put, it was the evening I met my first ATF. At that time I did not know I'm not supposed to fall in love with strippers. She pretty much had me at hello. LOL!!

Was at Cadillac Lounge in RI at 2am closing once. Normally, it's late afternoon and early evening for me.
Longest clubbing visit was 4 hours at Gallaghers 2000 in Long Island City, Queens, NY.

Funny, asking a bunch of SC addicts this question. LOL! Of course you should go! Great opportunity to practice your "SC Skillz" (borrowing from a recent poster). You might want to pick up some chocolates to give yourself an edge. Chances are some of the ladies won't have regulars to remember them today. ;)

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Learned that very private LD areas are not as big a factor in high mileage as I originally thought. As others stated management and LE attitude are more important tone-setting factors.

One thing to consider is the type of SC your wife might like. One of my favorite clubs in JAX is Sinsations, a very laid back nude juice bar. Nice mix of mostly young women. If you took the misses here, you might want to consider whether the in-your-face nudity on stage is the right intro to strip clubs for her. Might be better to find a laid back bikini bar, which might provide a more transitional experience.
You might want to talk to her about the range of options and let her choose. If you are angling for obtaining "cover" for future solo clubbing you might not want to go for the "wilder" clubs.

GoViking's selection, Jessica Burciaga, is representative of what I consider a 10! She has a stunning face, long brunette hair (bet she likes it pulled, LOL!), natural C cups, thin waist, wide baby-makin' hips and a brown/caramel/tanned complexion. If she was a few inches taller with D or DD cups, she'd be off the chart in my book.

Estafador, that's the main point of the post! I was surprised my dancer told me she was turned on by having her hair pulled. Now one of our own female TUSCLers, JayJaydancer, is saying she likes that also! So yes, there are women who like having their hair pulled.
