Travel Specifically for Strip Club Visits

If I were to pick a place based on hype on these boards and the soul purpose of the trip being to go clubbing I think I would go to shadows neck of the woods.

I don't think I would book a trip just on clubbing though ... right now being in the northeast I would first think someplace warm.

My advice jack not knowing how traveled you are is to make a list of places you would want to visit outside of clubbing, read reviews for each and pick a place in your top 5 that both seems like a good clubbing spot and also is someplace you want to go.

I did this a couple of times in the late 1990's - going to Tampa. Destinations outside of my current circle - I would have to think hard about that. Might have to be multiple cities for individual clubs or dancers. And I could just stay close to home and spend it in the Detroit clubs, as they offer a great deal of what I want.

Not sure which is the best city to club in, but I'll tell you where I would NOT want to go - vegas. It's overrated, overpriced & over-hyped.

I agree what what I've heard and read lopaw. I think the Strip Club experience there is secondary to the reason for Vegas's existence - GAMBLING! The Strip Clubs are tourist traps IMHO.

From what I gather, the best SC in America (almost) is actually just over the border in Tijuana. Adelita's or Hong Kong will make your $7K last a long time.

I have no reason to travel other than just for a change of scenery but if things go sour in Atlanta then my choices would be Detroit or Miami. Honorable mention to Tampa, Phoenix, Providence, Toronto and I still have good contacts in Columbia SC.

I would never travel solely for strip clubs. If you want to travel just for extras, which is what most of the people on this site think makes a great club, then why not just travel outside the U.S. for cheap/legal sex?

Obviously TJ would be a cheap option, but with 7K why not fly to Amsterdam? There's a helluva a lot more to do and you can talk about that trip forever.

But you said America, so I'm gonna go with Miami or Tampa, lean towards Miami. There's other shit to do and still good clubs.

I have trouble imagining going to Toronto or Phoenix for a "vacation". Never in a million years would I go to Detroit unless it was for business.

As far as Vegas is concerned, if you're not looking for wide open extras I really enjoy the clubs. Mix that in with all the other wonderful things in Vegas and it's one of my regular vacation spots.

I would go to miami jusst to see papi_chulo. Nice weather, beautiful beaches, nice parks and an escort to....escort me around to the best strip clubs in town. Ha, you didn't expect anyone to use the literal sense of the word escort now did ya?

Well, since you said in America that leaves out Bangkok. If you were willing to go just over the border then there is Tijuana. If that is out of the question then Detroit would have the highest mileage but, well, it is Detroit. As for a place that is enjoyable to spend your time outside of clubbing I would have to suggest either Tampa or Phoenix.

Miami has always been my favorite. There are many things to do. It's hot, the topless beach at South Beach during the day and several good clubs to visit.

I think I'd stay right where I am. More than enough variety for my aging tastes.

However, if you *must* travel for sex, and it's limited to America, the southeast in the wintertime and Detroit in the summertime seem like the bes "sure thing" bets.

Traveling just for sex seems a waste, though. There are *loads* of awesome sights to see in this country. Find one you've always wanted to see and go there. There's probably sex near it.

Jack, this time of year Miami is probably a good choice. There is a lot to do during the day, plenty of good restaurants to choose from and, oh yeah, good strip clubs. ;)

In the summer, I would choose Providence for many of the same reasons.

Has Providence changed?

About 1998 I flew to Providence for a long Labor Day weekend. Rented a car and drove all around - Cape Cod, the Newport mansions, Plymouth, MA, Groton Submarine museum, Mystic.

Each night visited a different Providence club. Was not especially happy.

Midwest = Detroit
New England = Providence
Texas = Houston or Dallas
North = Toronto
NorthWest = ????????? Fly to SoCal or Detroit
Southwest = City of Industry or Tijuana if you are brave enough
South East = many places in Florida, Tampa, Miami area.

I would think those that travel, or have traveled, a lot, would feel this way.

As for me, since I love variety and don’t get to travel much, I enjoy checking out the SC scene in different places/cities.

Since you said "America" and not just "US", I guess the previously recommended TJ is a good choice if you want FS every time, all the time. Vegas is OK for high roller party club vibes. Miami has several full bar/full nude clubs and dudes wearing flashy bling tossing money around (plus very good weather). Detroit has very high mileage and Windsor next door (and crappy winters).

Another option I would consider is Montreal! The clubs in town ("on the island") are not known as "high mileage" but there are several of them and the dances a very,very inexpensive. Plus, there are several "off island" clubs just a short drive away which ARE very high mileage. Wait until spring to avoid the extreme cold and the scenery will be as good outside the clubs as inside and you can have the best of both worlds in clubbing experiences.

Since so many have mentioned overseas locales, although I’ve never been, I would love to hit Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – have heard great things and I love the way their women look and carry themselves.

I agree with several comment that you should pick a destination based on more than clubs. With that said, I don't think you can go wrong with Miami or Tampa this time of year. If you're not concerned with extras or high mileage, then you have more options in general.

I believe cash amounts under $10,000 are not an issue for traveling abroad.

I did adjust my withholding for this year, so Uncle Sam doesn't get a free loan out of me.

Why "America" and not overseas? I am looking for a weekend away of fun, and that short duration means a long flight does not make sense. That said: Canada or Going to San Diego and making a day trip to Tijuana could work out. From reading the Tijuana reviews it seems if you park on the US side and take taxis you are okay and won't get shot or mugged? Probably makes sense to leave valuables back in San Diego at the hotel or in the car trunk and just carry passport and some cash?

Never done a Nevada brothel... What's that run these days?
