    Lies
Dancers. Dancers have to use the lies over and over to get what they want. Politicians only have to say a lie once, then the media replays it over and over for them.

Everyone here makes over $300,000? WOW! I never knew I was such a successful pizza guy. Course, my bank and my creditors never knew that either (thank God). It really sounds like the writer of that article just read a couple of other articles and studies, then regurgitated the material with her own little spin on it. A study using men recruited from newspaper ads and Craigslist has a built-in bias -- the demographic that uses those sources, but apparently that doesn't matter. And "john schools"? Seriously?

    A dancer's first....
A few years ago in Indianapolis, one dancer said it was her first night. I got a couple of dances from her, didn't do any groping, just a little caressing and massaging. Throughout the night she and an experienced dancer pretty much tag-teamed me; thankfully they also let me sit, have a couple of Cokes, and just enjoy the stage show. End of the night, the newbie's future sister-in-law, a dancer I couldn't take my eyes off for most of the night, joined us. She took me by the hand, said she wanted last dance with the gentleman, and led me off to the lap dance area. That dance quickly turned into a mini make-out session and then, before I knew it, she was down on her knees, between my legs, giving me a blowjob. Sort of felt a little awkward when the other two dancers came by to check up on us and she pulled her head out from under my t-shirt (along with a little bit extra). That, sadly, was also the last time I saw any of them.

    OT: New Horizons at Pluto!
Aren't they considering Pluto and Charon more of a binary dwarf-planet system now, with something like four or five moons (including Charon)? And, IIRC, one of the qualifications to be considered a planet is that a planet has to clear its orbital path of leftover debris (not counting trojan asteroids); Pluto apparently hasn't done that.

Did I accidentally meet a call girl?
Possible call girl, yeah. Several years ago, a buddy and I were outside Sex World in the Twin Cities, just BSing, figuring out where we wanted to go next. Cute girl walked up to us and asked if we'd be willing to walk her to a nearby bar. We looked at each, shrugged, and escorted her to the bar. Never did get her name and number -- or even a drink for that matter; we were just thanked and dismissed with quick hugs and small kisses on the cheeks.

Do you get a dance or pass?
The birthday angle would've been a flip of the coin for me. If I just got in or if I was waiting for drink or something, I probably would've said, "Maybe later." But if she said she was going to cry, it definitely would've been "Have a nice night." MrDeuce, last year, Brad's didn't have the $12 dances until 2pm. They had $175 Brass Rooms until 2 or 3pm. Have they gone back to the $12 dance?

Is Charlotte McKinney the new Kate Upton?
I'm leaning more towards Upton, but I'd still take Abigail Ratchford over either -- or both -- of them.

    The ultimate pity hustle
One dancer in Indy tried pulling that shit with me a few years ago. Everything leading up to VIP hinted at extras -- tip the bartender so he doesn't bother us, I'll take good care of you, there are no rules, etc., etc. Well, it had to be one of THE most boring times in VIP I've ever had. What was worse, twenty minutes into the dance-that-just-would-not-end, she pulled the "my kid's birthday is tomorrow but I don't have enough money for a party" -- after talking about the new piercing in her nethers and a couple other needless, self-indulgent treats. She also tried to tell me that she was voted the hottest girl at the club (she was cute, no argument there, but not hot, not in my book) and that I was the first guy to see her breasts that night (11pm? And she's just taking her top off now?). Buy, did I feel privileged. She tried hitting me up for a $200 tip -- with absolutely zero action. I told her no. She kept nagging and haggling and lowering it. I kept telling her no. It got to the point where I just told her, "That's it. We're done." She effected the big pout, borderline tears. "Is it because I won't have sex with you?" "No." I dropped her a $20 pity tip, then left the club. And I will never go back there.

Should government have the right to dictate your morality?
For me, it depends on the reason for the suicide. A terminally ill person -- let them go with peace and dignity, not suffer a prolonged, painful, and degrading death. Someone who's having a major glitch in his life -- yeah, get help. But whatever a suicidal person does decide, please, just take your own life and not the lives of anyone around you. When you cross that line, it isn't suicide any more -- it's murder.

Should government have the right to dictate your morality?
"People should not be afraid of their government. Government should be afraid of the people." V, V for Vendetta. Probably not an exact quote, but it still gets the point across. And wasn't it Jefferson who said that a little revolution can be a good thing? It just might be time, starting with dethroning the Democrats and the Republicans.

    Biggest stage tips
The most I've ever tipped stage-side was $10. The dancer never did stop by my table either, damn it all anyway. The largest ones I'm just hearing about now in this thread.

What are the best stripclubs in the midwestern states?
Sexy, I saw some go-go clubs in Omaha a few years ago. Crowded and boring as all hell. Course, Omaha was incredibly boring, too. Town of about 600k, and it rolls its sidewalks up about 9pm. Across the state line, in Council Bluffs, IA, the clubs are a bit more lively. Geez, the dancers can even show some T&A there. As for where to recommend, again, it depends on you, your style, and your limits. Indianapolis offers topless entertainment, and it's a pretty hands-on town, with just a couple of hands-off exceptions (Red Garter downtown and PT's on Pendleton Pike). There are one or two places there that are just a bit too publicly hands-on, so there could be some problems there. For the most part, Minneapolis/St. Paul is topless, though there are exceptions. Deja Vu and Dreamgirls, both in downtown Minneapolis, are fully nude juice bars. The Vu has cameras throughout, so extras are pretty difficult to get. Dreamgirls doesn't have cameras and folks can get pretty frisky there. Both the Vu and Dreamgirls also offer bed dances. And Kind of Diamonds down in Inver Grove Heights is full nude with alcohol, but it's probably one of the strictest hands-off clubs in the Twin Cities area.

To tip or not to tip ... that is the question
Sounds like she made a good-faith effort. No sense in penalizing her for something completely out of her control.

John, you might want to just forget about no-pic girl. If she hasn't followed through on anything by now -- even with the summer downturn at strip clubs -- she won't follow through at all.
