@jackslash
A few years back at a club I used to stop by for a drink on my way home from work one girl tearfully told everyone that her father had just died. He lived, she said, in a town a couple of hundred miles away and the funeral was going to be there. She alone, had to make arrangements for the funeral. People in the club, customers, bartenders, and other dancers were all sympathetic and offered condolences. The funeral was scheduled for the following Saturday, and every day we got an update on how much work the funeral preparations were and how sad she was.
Then, a funny thing happened. When the Saturday of the funeral came she was scheduled and showed up to work the day shift as if nothing had happened. I can't remember what BS reason she gave for being at the club instead of at the funeral, but nothing more was ever said by her about it.
Incidentally, this was the same girl who had "seven identical brothers." ;)

Not sure what you mean by "worst lie." If you mean most outrageous and obviously untrue lie, here's my contribution:
Several years ago a dancer who I'd know for a while told me that she had seven *identical* brothers. This was a whopper so inconceivable that I asked her if she really had seven brothers who were identical with each other. She confirmed.

I know a girl who would trade five 20's for $100. She says it makes it easier to hang onto her money because she's less likely to spend a $100 bill. To her, a $100 is more valuable than five $20's.

I thought they all retired to be bartenders in strip clubs. It seems like half the club bartenders I know used to be strippers. And not the hot half.

Mostly I don't ask because I assume the answer will be untruthful. I remember one time when a dancer told me how impressed she was that another girl at the club was a month or two away from finishing medical school. This dancer was very disappointed a couple of months later when, a couple of months later, it turned out that the "medical student" had been lying about her schooling.
Apparently they lie just as much to each other as they do to customers.

I keep my hair short too and have sometimes been mistaken for LE. One time I was sitting at the bar in a club I'd been going to regularly for a year. The bartender leaned across and started asking me questions about some legal problem she had. When I told her I didn't know anything she said "Aren't you a cop?" Apparently half the club thought I was an off-duty cop who came in there regularly.

Married guys with a smart phone might want to turn off tracking on their phone: http://lifehacker.com/psa-your-phone-logs-everywhere-you-go-heres-how-to-t-1486085759
If you have GPS in your car, it's probably also recording where you've been. Most will allow you to delete the tracking information.

A button up shirt makes it easier for dancers who are inclined to allow skin on skin contact with your chest. One dancer I know likes to open my shirt even while I'm at the rack. A soft, especially microfiber, shirt also encourages her to rub up against you even if she doesn't open the shirt up.
Jeans will discourage grinding in clubs where lap dances are done nude. Ditto a metal belt buckle. Also, a metal zipper may discourage grinding if you unzip unless you're in one of those places where you can get your pants down around your ankles. I don't know of any places like that in Portland.
I usually wear a either pair of slacks and a dress shirt, both made of microfiber; or a pair of soft workout pants and a casual button up shirt. In the summer I'll replace the workout pants with workout shorts. I've had many dancers comment on how soft my clothes are.
I don't think a tee shirt makes for easy access to anything but my belly, but I do think shadowcat has the right idea. You want the dancers who are not repelled by your attempts to make access easy.

Might depend on where you live. In Oregon stripping, lap dancing, and even live sex shows are constitutionally protected free expression.

I've had that happen a couple of times. Once when I went into the club dressed well and was one of only two customers in a club with three really hot dancers (and one not so hot one ;). The strippers were *hungry* that night.
The second time was when I went back to a particular club for the first time in months. A previous fav dances there and I had stopped going there when I dropped her. The first time I went back to that club one dancer made an obvious play to be my new fav by being *very* friendly both sitting at a table and in the dance booth..

@JamesSD Honestly you never know who that guy you bust might be or be friends with.
Good point. At the first hearing during my divorce I realized I'd see the judge at my favorite club.

Most of the time LE presence is very rare at the clubs I frequent. When LE is present, most of the time it's the Liquor Control Commission trying to catch the club in a violation. I only know of one or two times where undercover cops have been in a club the same time I was and looking for prostitution violations. They were so obvious I can't imagine even the dumbest stripper getting caught.
That said, there was one time I was in the dance booth with a fav and a couple of uniformed cops came into the club investigating a fight in the parking lot or something. The dancer immediately started trying to pull my dick out, telling me she thought it would be hot to fuck while the cops were wandering around. I don't think anything got that girl hotter than risky situations.

I think most customers will not care one way or the other as long as you're pretty and slender and have a fun outgoing personality. But there will be some customers who are uninterested in you because you have small boobs. Even so, one of the most popular girls at a club I regularly visit wears an A cup bra (when she wears a bra at all).

Must have been one dead club you were in. I don't think the women's restroom is ever empty at some of the clubs around here.

Why do you think anyone needs an "legitimate excuse" to become a parent? People (all of us) make decisions, good and bad, all the time. Dancers are no different.
For what it's worth my daughter (not a stripper ;) became pregnant and had a baby while she was in high school. I think (but don't know) that it was due to a combination of feeling a need for intimacy with her boyfriend, believing she was at a point in her cycle where she wouldn't get pregnant, and making the poor choice to "make it feel better" by not using a condom.
People are particularly prone to making poor choices when immediate gratification overcomes the potential long term consequences. Younger people (and immature older people ;) are especially susceptible to this style of bad choice.

TUSCL’s #1 Soothsayer!
1) The bartenders used to strip there 20 years ago. Occasionally they still do. Ewwwww.
2) Half the customers look like they couldn't afford a single lap dance
3) Half the dancers (or 75% by weight) are "plus sized"
4) The roof leaks into the club when it rains, and has for several years
