Appears suddenly a whole bunch of people commenting about Jimmy Carter’s presidency became political historians or somehow where of age to weigh in on his contributions as POTUS. More probable they are regurgitating what someone else from their political affiliation criticized Carter about than actually having a critical thought. Sheep will be sheep, especially with so much time on their hands to browse political media. Again, I stick with my myopic description. The Lion wrote it best, as per his notes it was over 43 years ago. Give it a rest so he can RIP! That’s what the OP’s reason for starting the thread, not some childlike bickering when those who belittle the former president either weren’t born or were still in primary school.

I just don’t understand the derision of a guy who led an exemplary life just because he didn’t play for your team. This I state as a registered Republican. To politicize trivial topics is beyond compulsion, it’s myopic.
