I had 27, and added two more while reading this thread. About 3/4 of mine are fake users like Alucard-with-dot. The rest are mostly just boring.

I don't have a real problem with the money, except that it's all going to the club and not the dancers. What I object to is the nickel-and-diming. If a club wants to charge $30 to get in, then do that. Don't tell me the cover charge is $10 when it's really $30 by the time you throw in valet, coat check, drink minimum, and LD admission.

I wasn't going very often in the late 90s but I mostly remember there only being table dances. Some clubs, like the one where Pantheon is now (forget what it was called then) didn't have a separate area for lap dances. Ypsi Deja Vu had an area but it was open to the main room with no curtains. Leggs (where John's Hot Spot is now) had a separate area, not visible from the main club, but it was small, communal, crowded, and had no privacy. I went to BT's a couple times but don't remember what it was like. Contact was poor by today's standards. You'd get grind, but often no touching the girl, depending on the girl. I'm pretty sure there were no extras available except maybe in the private champagne rooms, which I never visited.

From Toledo you should consider Landing Strip. I know the recent reviews say quality has dropped off, but I was there Halloween and had a reasonably good time.

Don't listen to Dallas. You want to go to Robert's. Don't bother with the strip clubs, at least not right in the city. They are strictly hands-off, but charge full-contact prices.

There have been dancers I was nuts about. Maybe I'm fickle, but if I can't get time with them in the first 15 minutes, and there is other talent on the floor, I'll move on. Then come back for her another night. In the 80s I used to get to SF a lot, and always stopped in at Mitchell Bros. Then the Detroit clubs caught up and I haven't looked back. Even then I considered the Broadway clubs a waste of time and money.

I don't think anyone would ever mistake me for staff or owner. I have had girls ask if I was a cop, but that's probably caution on their part, not me actually looking like a cop.
