@ Shadowcat: Id rather live next to a strip club than a church. You should've heard the complaints that my department got from people living next to, or near some churches. They're not the peaceful, serene, pastoral setting you might think they are when living close to one!

    Golden Opportunity?
Consider your options wisely. Having worked over 20 years in city planning, with most of that time in zoning, I can tell you that there are always complaints from residents when they live next to, or even near a commercial zone. There will be nights when you don't want to stay up until 2:00 a.m. when the club closes and deal with the traffic and noise until that hour. Some of the potential complaints mentioned by other can be a real nuisance. I sense that if you do buy this house, the first month it'll be a real thrill. After a month, the novelty will have worn off. By the third month, you'll have buyer's remorse.

What is so wrong with dating a stripper?
I've had some conventional dates with dancers. One dancer was in Las Vegas whom I would fly there (from Seattle) to visit about four times a year. I'd typically see her dance at her club (Cheetah's) one night, do an OTC with her in my hotel room another night, and take her out to dinner and a big show on a third night. It wouldn't have happened without my being customer of hers. In Seattle, I've had some individual dates with dancers. They were infrequent, and I wouldn't consider that I was in a dating relationship with them. Some of those have been after they stopped dancing.

What to do in between strip club visits
I'd like to go to clubs more than I do. When I can't, I like to get on TUSCL and read and talk about club experiences. On many nights when I went to a club and it was a poor choice for entertainment that night, I say to myself on the way home, "Why didn't I just stay home and participate on TUSCL."

It may be: "Butt Cheek Girl." See no. 7 in: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=BCG Some of the other six might be related, but of those seven choices, it sounds like no. 7 is the closest.

OC bikini bars - huh. What are they good for? (absolutely nothing?)
When I lived in L.A., pre-2006, I remember some bikini bars. The ones I went to had bikini dancing on stage. No tops ever came off in those clubs. And bikini lap dances. I don't know how they competed with topless bars. (Bikini and topless in CA can serve alcohol.) After the first time realizing a bikini cub was operated just like a topless club, I never went to a bikini club again.

Raffle, dancer rejects my $25 dollar lap-dance request and $2 "tip-out" asked fo
When I lived in L.A., a regular club for me was the Blue Zebra in North Hollywood (2004). There was an Asian dancer there with obvious bolt-ons (can't remember her name now), who thought she was good enough to only take customers who would do the $30. nude dances with her. She refused to do the $15. topless dances. It seemed like very few customers got the nude dances. I sure didn't when topless was half the price. The other dancers were amazed at her constantly turning down money. It's just like your gasoline sales analogy. Time is money. When she turned down a $15. dance, she usually didn't have a back-up $30. customer.

How Come Some Clubs Get No Love (Reviews)
Like Shadowcat, I lived in L.A. for a long time as well. I wouldn't go to downtown clubs either. One reason could be that it's a Deja Vu club. Nationwide, that chain is known for low mileage. The L.A. exception is the Deja Vu, City of Industry which gets lots of reviews. Another reason is that is could be perceived as a "tourist trap club." I feel that all the clubs in Hollywood are like that. (Another example is the Girls of Glitter Gulch in Las Vegas.) I don't think tourist trap clubs draw very many reviews on any web site. Also, it could be just the volume of competition in the area. A Spearmint Rhino is nearby and several other clubs too.

    Strippers attached to their phones
I've even had a dancer answer a cell phone call while on my lap giving me a dance. She didn't get paid for that dance, and I never spent another dollar on her again.

    SC Waitresses
I know one club when I lived in L.A.(pre-2006), where with permission from the on-duty manager, a waitress could give a lap dance. I think that was at the Strip Joint, Pomona, CA.

    Age
I like 30 and above. More pose, self-confidence, and generally more mature than the college-age girls. I even have two faves in their 40's. They both still look and dance great!

    Couples Indiana Cincinnati
Since you're new to TUSCL let me point out an excellent couples customer member that you would do well to get friendly with: m00tpoint. (Be sure to spell their name with zeros for the first two o's as I did.) Although they are from the Chicago area, you might send them a private message to ask for advice in seeking couples-friendly clubs. I suggest you look through some of their posts first. Mrs. m00tpoint seems to write most of their comments.

What's the nastiest (not in a good way) lapdance you've ever experienced?
I've only had to terminate a dance midway through once, when the dancer wouldn't slow down. She only knew one speed, despite repeated requests for her to slow down. The only unusual sanitary problem I ever had was when I was wearing dark pants one time; after the dancer finished and got up, I noticed a white, toothpaste-like substance spread all over my pants. To this day, I still don't know what that was. (Okay, it wasn't her last customer's jizz. I could discern that.) I wonder if it was a feminine hygiene product?

Strip club tax goes to the Illinois Governors Desk
I'm with motorhead. The IL legislature should get hard, cold, bare facts that there is a correlation between strip clubs and rape, before assessing a new tax.

Of the times I've been stood up, or cheated by a dancer, I don't give her a second chance. I just move on. "Second chances" tend to require third and fourth "chances." I recognize a problem when I see one, and am able to keep my losses to a minimum.

Why are some strip clubs packed late at night?
There are other forms of entertainment that are busiest late at night. Bars, for one. Theaters also. There's just something about going to strip clubs that makes them more alluring when it's done at night. Here in Seattle, during the summertime, when it's still somewhat light out at 10:00 p.m., the strip clubs take even longer to fill up.

Do you tell the stripper that you write reviews online?
My thoughts and experiences are a combination of many of the above. I do tell dancers that I read about strip clubs on line. Most aren't even curious enough to ask which website. If they are, I tell them one that's better known here in Seattle than TUSCL. That usually satisfies their curiosity. I keep most of my private life private from dancers, and I keep all of my "TUSCL life" private from the local dancers I see in the clubs here. The few TUSCL dancers I correspond with, know a little bit more about my club-going habits and interests than the local dancers do.

How do you tie up a stripper with paper napkins?
@ Shadow -- You may need to put your reading glasses on. This is from the article: ". . .when they got in the room, they discovered that her hands had been tied with two cloth napkins."

    Clubbing with a Dancer
I've said this previously, but I'll repeat it again: I've made several strip club trips with strippers. They're often curious about what other clubs are like. Often, with their busy schedules, they just can't get out to see the other clubs they'd like to. Sometimes they want to check out a particular club for potential employement without calling attention to themselves for that purpose. Some trips are just so they can check out the local competition. In either case, some clubs don't allow unescorted females, so they need a male companion just to enter the club. I've had many great times by taking strippers to other strip clubs. The more they tell me about what they're observing, the more interesting I find it. One was so good at that, that I referred to her as a strip club "play-by-play announcer."
