Alberta's SCs are no draw for a hardcore monger like you. How about our curling clubs? I could take you on a tour of Alberta's curling clubs, from Calgary's Winter Club to Edmonton's Ottewell Club to the funky little 2-sheeter in the hamlet nearest to Rancho farmerart.
Curling is an important part of western Canada's culture. The curling rink is often the social centre of tiny rural communities that struggle to survive the depopulation of the countryside.

Out of curiosity I phoned a bookie that I know here in Calgary to find out his line. Must be lots of Seattle money here in Calgary. The local bookie has Denver at just -0.5. That is a huge difference from the Vegas line.
A new well is being spudded soon up north; that is a $25,000,000 gamble for me.
I don't think that I will touch this Super Bowl proposition.

I'll second motorhead's tip about Industrial Strip in Hammond, IN. I visited that club one single time and was bitterly disappointed with the joint and its girls. At the time of my visit Industrial Strip figured very highly in tuscl's Top 10 list. It did not merit that ranking and I have distrusted the Top 10 list ever since.

Jack, I say - Go For It!
I have had four different vacations with my Toronto sweetie. All have been very pleasant experiences for me; also horrifically expensive. The vacations have been at isolated resorts or in rural or gently urban areas, not big cities.
There are some caveats to my advice, Jack. I get the sense that you don't know this girl very well yet. I had a pretty good read on my sweetie before I broached the idea of vacation together. My Toronto sweetie is in her early 40s and possesses unexpected maturity (for a stripper). Your new girl? Toronto sweetie is educated and multi-lingual. Your new girl? SuperDude, ever the practical cynic, raises specific objections that might concern you.
Sweetie and I hashed out all the logistical details of the vacations before we left Canada. There were no tantrums or bad behaviour on her part. Believe it or not, the only tension between us was over the amount of sex. A major part of these vacations for me was just pure relaxation from the pressures of work. Naps and leisurely hours spent reading were part of what I wanted to do. Sweetie wanted to be more active than that (both in the sack and out). Sweetie claims we are a good fit sexually (and I don't disagree) but the damn woman is rapaciously insatiable! One of the reasons I see her only 2-3 times a year.
If you get all the details figured out to your satisfaction - DO IT. I have the impression that all this is easily affordable for you.

I will be visiting Europe again this coming summer, primarily Holland to satisfy more of my curiosity about my Dad's WW II exploits. As part of this trip I will also be visiting the Commonwealth War Grave in Kleve, Germany. Kleve is very close to the Ruhr cluster of big cities - Essen, Duisberg, Koln, Dusseldorf - where I might come across an FKK spa.
I don't like Germany and I don't like Germans but I wouldn't mind sampling the delights of the FKK spas that I have heard so much about.

I don't know beans about American football. I do know that the Denver Broncos are owned by a Canadian from Edmonton, Pat Bowlen. Bowlen's company built Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton that is the home of the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos. The Bowlen family has a long history in Alberta. J.J. Bowlen was Lieutenant Governor of the province fifty-some years ago.
Sad to say, but Pat Bowlen has started down the road to elderly dementia. He no longer does interviews or makes public appearances.

The same series runs on PBS in USA under the title - 'MI-5'. Now I understand the reason for a different name for the series in USA.

I am not of the same politics as Pete Seeger.
My taste in music does not include a passion for folk tunes.
I cannot help but admire the character of the man. He was true to his beliefs. He was true to his friends. He was true to his family. He was true to his craft. He led the life he wanted to lead with no compromises.
I strongly suspect that he would have been a great guy to share thoughts and experiences with over a few beers in a convivial working man's tavern.

This is all a calculated effort by Bieber and his handlers to cultivate a 'bad boy' image.
Bieber's father is part of the kid's posse, for pity's sake. Daddy Bieber was part of the so-called street race crew in Miami. Rented cars, even. CBC News in Canada really did a number on Bieber this weekend on The National.
Bieber is an embarrassment to Canada. Please don't deport him back to us.

I am 'art' here on tuscl. I am 'art' in SCs. I am 'art' everywhere.
The only people in the entire world who call be by my given first name are my 98 year old mother and my Swedish cousins. They are also the only people that I know who can properly pronounce my given name. I am even 'art' to my sister and brothers, none of whom can pronounce my Swedish first name. In fact, to my knowledge the only places where my real name appears are on my birth certificate and on my passport. 'Arthur' is my middle name. Anybody who dares to call me 'Arthur' receives a withering glare.
