Our brand-new, American-made speed skating suits are being ditched because they think they're slowing down the skaters. But I do believe the old ones they're going back to are also American made.
I don't know about the uniforms worn in competition, but the clothes worn in the opening ceremonies are 100% American.
Even the yarn for the sweaters came from sheep in Oregon.
I think motorhead and I may have both seen the same episode of "World News" on ABC, hosted by Diane Sawyer. It has a regular feature entitled, "Made in America," in which the embarrassment of the last Olympics' opening ceremonies uniforms having been made in China were since corrected for the Soshi Olympics.

You are wrong. Canadian Olympic Team uniforms were all made in Canada.
The replica gear available to the public at The Bay is made off shore but anything worn by a Canadian athlete in Sochi is made in Canada.
