    Toronto
Central Toronto = high prices, nickel and dime fees, minimal mileage, attractive multi-racial girls. Venture forth to the suburbs - Mississauga, Vaughan, Rexdale, Brampton.

Day In the Life of a Rich Party Animal
Little boy, you must do some fact checking before you do any more of these life style reports. JW Blue?....any sophisticated whisky drinker would turn up his nose at this rotgut. Gstadt?....do you mean Gstaad in Schweiz? $500 hotel rooms?....very tough to find a room for that down rent price in London, Cannes, Paris, even your 'Gstadt' for that matter. $800 escort....a very low rent price for sex in the world in which you claim to circulate. Gotta say though, little boy, you make me laugh.

The New And Improved Catholic Church
My visits to churches are probably over. All recent weddings that I have attended have been breezy outdoor ceremonies. I like that trend. I have been at two church funerals in the last 10 years; my father's and the funeral of a beloved uncle. The next (and last) church funeral for me will be my Mom's service. In Canada churches are exempt from property tax assessments. That really picks my ass.

    stripper dress code for otc
Once upon a time I had an Alberta dancer act as hostess at a big BBQ at my farm. She dressed in appropriate summer gear - a nice summer sun dress and strappy sandals. She did an excellent job as hostess also. After dark and after the fireworks show when the booze was flowing freely we started dancing on my deck. She put on some raunchy stripper dance moves and danced rather intimately with me. Other guests certainly noted this performance. Tell you the truth.....I didn't mind at all. It was a great party.....got much better after all guests left.

    Happy Mothers Day
I got my F-150 repaired from the Canada geese damage and then did the dutiful thing for Mother's Day. I brought my 98 year old Mom out to Rancho farmerart for a BBQ. Any excuse to leave the long term care facility is a joy for my Mom. Truth be told......Mom enjoyed the drive in the country out to my place much more than she enjoyed the BBQ.

    Vacations?
No vacation here. I hit two Canada geese when driving back to my farm yesterday. Fat Farley will be helping me tomorrow to drop a new rad into the F-150. Crappy job with all those hoses, thermostat, etc, etc. New passenger side headlights also. Damn geese!

    Expensive dancer drinks ?
If I am buying a drink for a dancer it invariably means that I am also drinking. Drink prices are easily forgotten when a beer-fuddled brain is making the purchase decisions. I do remember buying a dancer a $12 Red Bull. I have no idea what regular retail prices might be for Red Bull but $12 surely must be horribly overpriced?

    Byob clubs
I have been in only one such of these animals in Canada - Chez Pierre in Edmonton. Alberta provincial laws make BYOB illegal and Chez Pierre management didn't really encourage the practice but it seems that many guys did it. Chez Pierre is the only Alberta club that has lap dances anywhere near the lap dance style of high contact USA clubs. I usually received much juicier lap dances from the Chez Pierre girls if I had a mickey to share with them.

    Retirement and SCing ?
For me, retirement was total misery and boredom. The 2+ years of retirement after the sale of my first company were the most tortured years of my life since the pain of high school. I am one of the few people for whom work is stimulation, delight, and (mostly) pure pleasure. I am now not quite the workaholic that I was during my first go-round in the oil patch. If anything, I enjoy work even more now that I am in my mid-60s. Perhaps the SC hobby has been the reason for this?

    OT: Jack is back
@motorhead, Yeah, I know of Donald Sutherland but not through his movies; I haven't seen a single one of his movies. I knew of Donald Sutherland only as Tommy Douglas' son-in-law. Tommy Douglas is one of my very few Canadian political heroes. He was a man of uncompromising principle - a formidable foe and a stalwart ally.

    OT: Jack is back
Another of steve229's pop culture references that flew over my head so I googled Jack Bauer........Canadian actor, Kiefer Sutherland, as some sort of kick ass government agent in a TV series. Now this piqued my interest a little. I know the name Sutherland but even more important in Kiefer's genealogy is his grandfather, Tommy Douglas. Tommy Douglas was the best Prime Minister that Canada never had. Douglas was a Baptist minister who became a left wing politician in both Ottawa and the province of Saskatchewan, He was also a tough bad ass little boxer, winning a 135lb. championship boxing match with a broken nose, lost teeth, and a damaged punching hand. Kiefer Sutherland as bad ass Jack Bauer couldn't carry his Grandpa's jock.

    Road Trip
I have found Arnie's Idle Hour to be a jolly place in Harvey (south Chicago). I did 'stick out like a sore thumb' as you suggested would be the case with yourself. Didn't bother me a bit - the dancers were all happy and 'willing'; Luther, the big bouncer, was a barrel of laughs; beer was cheap.

What are you doing for Cinco de Mayo?
@MrDeduce, You ask about Sikh strippers in BC. Uncommon, I grant you, but occasionally a dusky lovely will be encountered. Check my review of No 5 Orange from August, 2013; a devastatingly attractive Sikh dancer figures in that review. And at the same time, a very frustrating Sikh dancer. As for cuisine I much prefer the sophisticated spicing and detailed preparation of food from the Punjab to any other cuisine on offer anywhere else in the world. Indian cuisine, in general, kicks ass in my opinion. Can't say the same for any Indian beer that I have ever sampled. The Sikh guys whom I have employed in the past had the same opinion of Indian beers.

What kind of unusual compliments have you heard from dancers that you believed?
"Will you give me a character reference?" "Will you be emcee at my wedding reception?" Both of those questions were asked of me by the same dancer. In her back-handed way I considered them to be compliments. However, I answered 'No" to both questions.

What are you doing for Cinco de Mayo?
This really demonstrates a major cultural difference between USA and my country, Canada. The Mexican (or greater Latino) population in Canada is microscopic compared to the similar population in USA. Vaisakhi resonates more loudly in Canada than does Cinco de Mayo.
