Career of a Dancer
I’d separate the analysis as a few others have done. It’s certainly not a job for everyone and there’s a high dropout rate of less than 2-3 months. For the girls who make it past that, there are many hazards which cut short the career. Lots of drinking, smoking, difficulty having real relationships, not building credit, not being able to tell family and friends what you do, age making it harder to keep up their looks. That said, if a girl makes it past the initial couple of months, I’d guess the career is often over by 30, with the average being 3-5 years.

"Do You Have a Condom?"
Misogynist? Not in this situation. Maybe if it was a civilian hookup and you didn’t have your own protection. In an extras club, you’re just not being a great customer. Sure, the girls may often have them but do you want to have everything ready to go for protected sex and not have a condom? At that point, it doesn’t matter whose job it was to pick them up, the problem is both parties will be disappointed. Cost isn’t an issue. Grab a three pack and toss them if they are unused. As for the radioactive evidentiary nature, lots of us have to deal with that, but that’s our problem, not the dancer’s imo. Believe me, I’ve been there and it sucks, but I’d never blame the dancer for that. It’s a team effort and lack of a condom is an “us” problem.

What inexpensive item do you have that is either super useful or enjoyable?
Hummingbird feeders. They are only a few bucks. Fill them with some sugar water every week or two and we get hummingbirds all summer long. Saw the first one yesterday. I find them fascinating and it’s very peaceful to watch them buzz around. They are also very territorial so when two or three come at the same time it’s like a little WW2 dogfight.

Very basic tipping question
Depends on where you are located. It also depends how many dancers are on stage at a time. If there’s only one girl every three songs and it’s 18-20 songs an hour that’s about 6 tips an hour. I’d go $3 there. If there are two dancers on stage and they are only doing two songs a set, then that’s 18-20 tips an hour. I drop down to $2 in that situation. I probably should go to $1 but it just seems too low. Those are my minimums. I’ll stage tip or tip a few dollars more on the tip walk to girls I’m interested in, did a great stage show, groped me, etc.

Brush offs...
Yeah, what dolfan said. Just say no thanks, I’m good. If you turn away too many, or turn away one who decides to tell other dancers you’re not spending money, you might have to be proactive and tip a bit to get the attention of the girls you are interested in. It’s a fluid situation so just read the room. I choose my dancers based on a number of factors, physical and personality traits or loose morals, or whatever mood I might be in. I don’t need to tell a girl she’s not my type because who knows who I’ll eventually decide on. Just say no.

Amateur Nights
One club around here uses “amateur night” for dancer tryouts. It’s a club that is the beginning for a lot of baby strippers so it makes sense as a way to lure them in. Sometimes it’s good, more often it’s just ok.

Going with 2 or more friends to a strip club
I’ve got a group of friends who like to go together. They know I also go on my own, as does one other of them. We all know what goes on but I make a concerted effort to not give details. Some things are unavoidable though, like the bartender who told my friend what she saw me doing on camera. Serious breach of bartender/customer privilege there. I have some tolerance for risk so I’ll still go with a group sometimes and try and save my most compromising activities to my solo trips.

Girls who won't Work It
Here is a rule for you that works in the strip club and the real world: Don’t tell people how to do their job. It doesn’t matter if they don’t do their job the way you think they should. It doesn’t matter if they are objectively bad at it. It’s their decision and if they opt to not take your money, that’s their decision. Your decision is whether to forget about it and find someone else, or bitch about it. It sucks if your preferred dancer doesn’t want your money, but chances are that if you get her in the back, she won’t deliver. Maybe if she sees you spending money she’ll come around. Or not. Either way it’s not worth the wasted energy of trying to figure out why a dancer is not behaving like you think she should.

OT- Best-scripted movies
Best written or best movie? If trying to stick with best written, Tarantino has to be in there. I’m a Pulp Fiction fan but he has many other innovative and well written films, including True Romance. After QT, I’d also have to pick something from Christopher Nolan and Inception gets my vote. This movie was just complicated enough. He can go overboard. I haven’t seen Oppenheimer yet, but loved the Batman movies, especially Batman Begins and Memento is novel and an all time classic. If you’re going to go with Sorkin, Moneyball and The Social Network were good, but I don’t think come close to the brilliance of A Few Good Men.

Strippers who dislike the customers
Work + alcohol/drugs + competing with coworkers + theft + emotions + physical contact = 100%. Definitely not all the time, but always sometimes. I don’t care about the ones I don’t interact with as long as they aren’t disrespectful. If I decline their approach just take my no. I’m fairly polite and respectful to the ones I do business with and I like to think they like me, but due to the equation above, occasionally I fall out of favor sometimes. Regrettable sometimes, but it happens. That’s my experience for myself. The rest of you guys? Yeah, they all definitely hate you.

Joined the board a few months ago. One review where you got thrown out of the club and then a thread asking for detailed info on a dancer from said club. Strong first impression. We’re pretty creepy here but you may be too creepy for us.

Does anyone else hate talking to dancers?
The OP admits he’s a shitty communicator. Exhibit number 1 is this post. It’s titled wrong and everything he wrote is irrelevant until the last line “What's a good way to tell a dancer to bug off without being a total dick?” Answer that question, which has been done many times on this board and problem is solved. Really, if you can’t send a dancer on her way efficiently and politely, you’re not a monger. You’re a n00b. I say that after having a girl react badly when I declined her dance offer just two nights ago. Sometimes it does happen, but it shouldn’t be a regular thing if you’re experienced. One other point. If you don’t like to talk to dancers, don’t go during day shift. Go at night when most clubs are more about the quick hustle.

Pregnant
As long as they make money, some clubs will allow them to dance, especially if they’ve worked there for years. They need to build up cash since they won’t be working much until they’ve shed the baby weight. Not for me, but im sure someone likes it. That could be said for lots of things.

Founder, it would be great if the last comment went back to displaying who made it and when it was made when it was in the topic list. It helps to know whether we need to open a thread for a new post.

This Song Sucks
I’m a kid of the rock and heavy metal age of the 80’s and 90’s but I also like pop, reggae, ska, rap and and hip hop. I’ve also learned to appreciate reggaeton. Pretty much anything by except country. I enjoy the songs in clubs and frequently Shazam songs to add to my playlists playlists. As a monger, it’s good to have a command of songs that clubs play because it adds a topic to talk to dancers about. Dancers place way more emphasis on the songs than mongers do. Just ask a dancer what songs she likes to dance to, what songs she hates to dance to, whether the dj gives her good songs, what songs trigger her, etc. and you have a fun conversation that eliminates the usual age difference between dancer and customer. As long as you don’t feel like you need to “be right” or tell them that their music is stupid it’s a good way to connect before you go grope a girl one third your age.

Well, that went political quickly. Last year under Biden the US drilled more oil than ever in its history and was the number one oil producing country in the world. I think something else is causing the Cubans to up their prices for handjobs.
