Google also doesn’t take my feedback and act on it in a day or two. Founder takes our feedback. I’m glad for what we have and have faith founder will restore the site’s best features. Better to wait a few days and have it done right. We can muddle through in the meantime.

Smoke em if you got them
^ I agree with most of this. I smoke and do edibles or vape. I don’t want weed smoke inside the club because I usually don’t want to leave with the smell on my clothes.

The truth hurts, but if you accept it, it will set you free
Good to see that with the new website, the old personality of the forum has been preserved. I’ve got an issue with the statism premise offered by Book Guy, though he points out the problems with it in such detail im not sure he and I actually disagree.
“States rights” was often thrown around as if it was an argument ender over difficult constitutional or Supreme Court issues. Most often, and most recently, it was over abortion as a way to remove it as a constitutional issue. I don’t agree for two reasons. First, a teenage girl in Texas should not have different rights than a teenage girl in California. They didn’t choose where to live, and even if it was a woman in her 30’s who could choose to live somewhere else, a person’s control over their bodily decisions should not be different because you crossed a state line. We’re all Americans.
Secondly, the states are not red and blue. The state whose citizens cast the most votes for His Magasty in 2020? California. More voters for Don Snoreleone in California than in Florida or Texas. NY cast the 5th most votes for him. It doesn’t make sense to me that we toss major decisions that affect American people the same way to the individual states.
State taxes, some education funding, and other particularly local issues? Sure, vest that in the states. But things that affect everyone the same? Those are national issues.

Yeah, going to the club as a couple isn’t an auto reject. People do it. Do they then write about it? Maybe. You have to evaluate each review on its own merits.

They’ve admitted girls since 2017. They’ve had a huge drop off in membership and are financially in trouble. They’ve had an abuse problem for years and hundreds (thousands?) of victims. And the name change is what got your attention?

Just click on the user name and there’s a microphone with a slash through it just to the right. It’s pretty faint even when selected and I’ve asked founder to accent it. Also, it can be hard to unmute someone should you have second thoughts as there isn’t a place in your own profile that list users you have on mute. You’d have to wait until you see where they start a thread, approve a review or send you a DM, all places where the mute doesn’t work.

I’ve sometimes ended a dance mid song because it’s been especially bad. I threatened once to end one before it started but had already paid a room fee. We proceeded with predictable results. It sucked. It’s rare, but it is part of the game.

It works for comments. Doesn’t work for thread starts or pms last I checked. But it takes care of most of the drivel.

Netanyahu was on thin ice for years before this. Was indicted in 2019 for taking bribes and fraud. His trial began in 2021 and is still ongoing. His party had trouble for years establishing a coalition government and finally did so, by uniting disparate fractional parties. I’m not one to always blame a president for failures of a country’s intelligence services, but Israel ignored direct intelligence of the attack before it happened. This is not a stable situation and it’s right to question Bono’s motives.
We as a country rallied around W after 9/11. In retrospect our decisions to invade Afghanistan and Iraq and kill tens of thousands of people, including civilians, are certainly open to question. It’s not wrong to question what Israel is doing. It may not be clear until the war stops and where Israel stops. Israel is destroying housing and infrastructure. There may be nowhere to house people after this is over, not to mention the destruction of property and the opportunity to make a living and survive. I have a problem with that.
I condemn Hamas.

Ha. I opened the thread to comment about Good Guys and then saw it was my review that prompted the thread.
The dancers do a tip walk at Good Guys, so my server said she was missing out on those tips. Maybe that helps alleviate tension between dancers and servers. As it was, there were 30 girls in the bar and at one point only 3 customers. If one of the dancers wanted my money they should’ve sat with me first. Once the club started to get busy, the server had to step away a few times to sling drinks. There was no difference in hotness factor. They were all hot.

The club doesn’t prevent you from bringing your own singles. They just charge you to change big bills.

You just answered your own question on GA but you’re choosing to ignore it. If it was just GA and you could find some alternate definition of ‘find’’ but there’s not. He went to every swing state and without evidence conspired with alternate electors and created an evidentiary record of documents. Keep your head in the sand.

Fun fact - Fox News, MSNBC and CNN had basically identical coverage this morning supporting the police actions and condemning the agitators. That won’t happen again for a millennium. Good to see I could still pop in here and see that cats are still fighting with dogs otherwise I’d believe the end of the world was coming.

“I think you want to run to the center if your Trump”
You’re thinking rationally. His Magasty has never thought rationally not taken advice from anyone. Only one time can I think of him moving to center since 2015 and that’s with him saying a 6 week abortion ban in FL or the AZ territory law were too severe. He doesn’t think like you do.
Stefanik being from NY doesn’t matter. He’s a FL resident so they would still be eligible for the NY electoral votes, not that they have much of a chance of winning there.
The smart choice for him would be DeSantis. It’s also the smart choice for DeSantis to give him the inside track in 2028.

I mostly agree with the original post. The first amendment must be protected, even if you don’t like what the protesters are saying. They have a constitutional right to say it. Camp on the lawn. Who cares. Break into the building? Now we have a problem. Those people should be (and were) arrested and charged.
Mayor Adams spoke this morning and said that there were a large number of non-student agitators who used the protest to advance their own radical agenda. They are working through the investigation to separate those agitators from student protesters. Not sure if they’ll be charged with terrorism, but the mayor intends to charge them with more than trespassing. It sounded like he was going to leave the student discipline to the school.
They’ll be outlier cases but it strikes me as about the correct balance.

We passed the tent city as we moved my kid out for the summer. It was also graduation weekend. The demonstrations there had all been peaceful, except maybe some shouting and noise making during finals. I’m all for first amendment rights as long as they don’t unreasonably interfere with the rights of others. Now that the school year is over? Those kids can camp on the lawn all summer.
