I don’t read graphic novels, but I do enjoy the movies and shows they make out of them. Re Watchman, I thought the movie was ok, but it’s probably been ten years since I’ve seen it. I thought the series that HBO made out of it with Regina King and Don Johnson was much better.

The one casino new to Fremont St since you were there Londonguy is Circa. It’s pretty nice, especially the stadium pool for sports events, which isn’t great for a Wednesday when the OP will be there.

One thing I’ve found to be true is that I didn’t care about healthcare when I was younger because thankfully I never needed. Then I got older and had kids and all of us needed it, and suddenly I cared about healthcare. Has it gotten better or worse when adjusting for my own biases of not needing it and now needing it? Like most things, it’s a mix. It’s more expensive, but so is everything. I hated the old HMO systems. The current high deductible plans also suck for the initial cash outlays, but at least I can go right to a specialist if I need one and not labor through all the various levels of care, starting with cheapest and going to the more expensive, that the HMO would put you through before you could see the specialist you needed. It took me 20 months to eventually get to the orthopedist I knew I needed when I need to get arthroscopic surgery. That was 20 months of pain I didn’t need and wouldn’t have to go through today. I don’t like the factory like approaches to many offices. I’ve found that it’s more about office choice and we’ve settled on good practitioners and get good bedside manner. On the insurance side, the removal of the preexisting condition prohibition is huge. Same for covering dependents up until their 26th birthday. If your kids go to grad school, that coverage is a huge comfort.

The dems are not “my party.” I’ve been a registered republican for 30 years. I’ve given some thought to changing to independent as a lot of the Republican Party has left me, but I’m clinging to hope it comes back. There are dangers in the dem agenda, mostly on the fringe left. Same for the rep agenda on the fringe right. It used to be that the general election would bring the candidates toward the center but that hasn’t been true since 2016. Put that in the same category with the senate filibuster. It doesn’t work that way anymore either. Shit, we now have a rep majority House having to rely on dem votes to keep the government’s on. The dems are the ones preventing Jewish space lasers lunatic MTG from moving to oust another speaker. I find it hard to find reasonable candidates to get behind.

So your answer is contempt for the 80 million people who voted for the other side? The majority of voters in this country are all just wrong? That’s Fox News crap. MSNBC and CNN spew the same level of bullshit. It’s Hilary’s basket of deplorables tag, and we saw how poorly that worked out. I’m not sure there’s an answer to my question. But I think the discussion could be interesting.

Puddy, that’s a very thorough list of why not to vote for Biden or a democrat. It’s also echo chamber material and not going to convince anyone to change their vote. Have you ever asked yourself why, if the case is so compelling, are you in the minority? Why have most voters voted democrat in the past few elections? I know tuscl is not the place for a high level discussion. It’s more for name calling and dishing out zingers. You’re in the minority on this issue, but the question is out there for both sides. Stayed more generically, if I’m so sure I’m right, why does half the country strongly disagree with me? That’s a much more interesting conversation to me. I admit this probably isn’t the place for it.

“At least he doesn’t have dementia.” I debated whether to weigh in on this because I know it won’t convince anyone, but here goes. The “Biden has dementia” narrative doesn’t resonate with anyone who isn’t already in Trump’s corner. It will not change votes. Why? The narrative that Biden is the only candidate with declining mental issues is solely the product of our echo chamber media. Is Biden getting old and is his mind declining? Yes. Definitely. That’s not the point. The point is that so is Trump. The issue is that Trump voters don’t see how often he misspeaks because the right side media doesn’t cover it. Sometimes Fox will talk about it, like when he got confused and thought that Nikki Haley was Nancy Pelosi. But it happens more than that. A lot more. Pretty much after every one of his weekend rallies, the late night shows and left side media have a field day with all of Trump’s fuck ups. He slurs his words. He confuses world leaders. He gets dates wrong. He talks about when he ran against Obama. He does it louder than Biden so he doesn’t look so feeble, but it’s bad. Have I convinced anyone? I doubt it. But we’ve got two old guys running for office, and they both are foggy in the brain. Maybe it shows up at a debate, but by then we’ll still only have a choice of these two old men.

I wrote about mine in a review. I was drunk, we were making out like HS kids and doing other dirty stuff and I stupidly fell for the “she likes me” sell job. Ever have one of those first rooms with a dancer where you and she just click? Well, this was one of those. I was blinded. She was a pro. I paid in advance and she no showed. It works on posts for me. Doesn’t work on thread starters or PMs. No rush, but when you get around to it founder if you can make it more visible when mute is on, like you have with the likes and hated button, that would be helpful to my old eyes.

One issue not mentioned with shortened and especially 90 second songs is it’s much easier to lose track of a song count. That wouldn’t rule out going to a UHM club, but you have to factor into the cost that you’re going to overpay for a few songs if you do more than 8-10, which only equates to 12-15 minutes.

Sorry it didn’t work out. They do advertise the quarterly “Stimulus Day” on their IG and there are usually also posters above the urinals about 6 weeks ahead of time. You are expected to tip on top of the $100. How much is always a bit of a mystery.

It’s chicken shit to dox extras dancers from behind an anonymous profile. So sure you’re in the right? Tell her before you head to vip that you plan to review the club and her performance on tuscl. She’ll definitely over perform to ensure you give her a good review. Beyond the dickishness of it, it’s just bad business. It provides little valuable info while incurring unnecessary risk. Foolish.

Each review is just one part of the universe of reviews for a particular club. This thread is dancing around the “it’s all relative” aspect of a review site. Yes, a complete review that ticks all the boxes is great, but it’s not necessary for a lot of the well known clubs. People look for different things in a review. That’s ok. The voting process does a good job sorting that out. A rejected review can be revised and resubmitted. I’m fine with all of the various types of reviews including the ATF review. It tells me something about the club, which when combined with other reviews gives me some info to decide whether to go to that club or somewhere else. That’s my standard.

Not a sign of HM (though it ended up as being HM) was my first VIP with a dancer who became a CF for about a year. We were in a pasties club where some girls would leave them on in VIP, or you’d have to ask them to take them off, etc. Always a pivotal signal or moment of apprehension before VIP with a new girl. Anyway, first VIP with her and before we go in she says “let me go upstairs first (dancers’ locker room) and take these off and clean up so you don’t taste glue.” All signs pointed to go and took some pressure off me to ask.
